Worst Mc Donald’s I have been too I placed my order, and was bypassed at least ten times, the kids making meals were having fun playing around. And ignoring customers there was no apology for the long wait, N-Out eats them alive on customer service and certainly food. Thumbs way down how about to hell.

What can I say, they took my order quickly, the food was there quickly, I was eating quickly. Maybe only downside, no seating area but I had a whole airport to choose from.

Because you’re probably in a rush if you’re in this airport, I’m going to make this review short. Pros: It serves most McDonald’s foods. Cons: Unpleasant workers, big lines, underfilled drinks, higher than average prices, forgotten items. This place is pretty mediocre but you don’t have many other choices. You’re either going to have to eat here or spend triple the amount at a sit-down restaurant. It’s sad but true.

What to eat for dinner on a cold, Chicago winter’s eve as I wait for my flight back to L.A. I saw this Mickey D’s right across from my gate(C11) and knew I had to go with my childhood favorite meal: Filet-o-Fish! Soft and tender, light flaky white fish filet, topped with tangy tartar sauce all on a lightly steamed bun. So yummy! The box said the fish is wild-caught Alaskan Pollack responsibly sourced from an MSC certified sustainable fishery… so even better. :) I’m surprised how healthy and non-greasy the sandwich tasted. It seemed to be more oily when I was a kid… The fries were perfectly cooked and crisp with a nice amount of potato in every bite. They didn’t give me any ketchup, and I was too lazy to go back and ask for it, but the fries were good enough without ketchup. Washed down with Dr. Pepper, this was an awesome meal before my flight. :D

Don’t expect much, it’s a airport macdonal at arrivals level which means everyone can go there even though they are not flying or picking people up.

wtf, this was the slowest service at a McDonald’s I have ever had. We ordered 2 cokes, 10 piece mcnuggets and 2 large fries. There weren’t many customers at the time and a lot of employees. Yet it was so frustratingly slow. We were exchanging looks with the two other customers making wtf faces and wondering what the deal was. I was thinking of rescinding the order to get a refund and just leaving but we ended up waiting it out. almost 20 minutes! It was annoying. This is in the food court and there were other places I wish we had tried that may have been faster. Maybe we just caught them at a bad time. It was about 10pm on a Friday.

Ok positive is that easy to get to and decently fast. Biggest complaint is every employee looks angry and as if they are doing you a favor. Dont think about a smile or greeting. Even for a mcdonalds it is pretty bad. I got an egg white mcmuffin and it looked like a truck hit it. The egg white was basically a big glob instead of a round pancake shape. Everything was piled hap hazard. I occasionally get a hankering for McDonalds and this is why it is very rare. Other fast food chains have better consistency and service. It doesn’t matter im in an airport — it should be the same there as a stand alone version.

Service was friendly and nice… Grilled ranch chix wrap was overcooked, soggy and not very appetizing. Low rating is for the food quality.

Have it your way. You got a long layover especially since your initial aircraft is now broken. You’re hungry and McDonald’s is sitting there right across from your terminal and you know you’re in for a long flight. A little more expensive with airport prices. Same food you know and expect. Pick something that won’t upset your stomach on the flight. They get lots of foot traffic and crew members behind the counter are buzzing with activity. No where to sit so take your grub to the gate. And in McDonald’s trivia for international travelers: McDonald’s largest market outside the United States is Japan. «Makadonaldo» first opened in 1971 on the world-famous Ginza. Located inside the Mitsukoshi Department Store, it was the smallest McDonald’s restaurant in the world — at 500 sq. ft. Today, that restaurant has been relocated and expanded and has been joined by another 2,000+ McDonald’s restaurants.

Reasonably quick for being busy, a little more expensive(given that it’s an airport), and the staff was curt but efficient. Not the best location, but it works for what I wanted(a drink and hashed brown). I do wish they had burgers all day, though. Traveling from everywhere in the world, I could want dinner, not breakfast… They have gotten better over the years and tried to improve the pick-up, announcing numbers, etc. of the order.

Look dude… We know you don’t want to be stuck in an airport at 9:00pm on a Sunday night more than we want to be. We know you are the only restaurant left open at 9:15pm and we are interrupting you trying to close early. We get it and we are sorry. However, when I order a habanero burger(which is delicious with great heat and not too overpowering, btw) and ask for no onions… I don’t need you to flippantly tell me «it doesn’t come with onions» as you go back to texting. It does have onions on it. I didn’t want them. You were too busy texting to push the little button that says«no onions». They were in the burger. I threw up! You are a jerk! BTW… Doesn’t the McDonald’s policy say something about«no cell phones» while working? 1 star because they don’t have Zero!

I’ve had layovers at Chicago O’Hare numerous times over the past decade+. More often than not, I’d hit up one of the airport’s McDonald’s to quell my hunger after a long flight. McDonald’s is especially satisfying after an international flight. There’s a Mickey D’s in just about every terminal at O’Hare. They all receive a high volume of customers and appear to be efficiently run. I’ve never had any issues. My most recent O’Hare Mickey D’s pit stop occurred at the Concourse C location. After hitting up America’s Dog at the opposite end of Concourse C for Chicago-style hot dogs, I came to this Mickey D’s for an Oreo McFlurry dessert. The McFlurry cost $ 3.54 after tax($ 3.20 before). Outrageous pricing considering my intown neighborhood McDonald’s in Atlanta charges only $ 2.69(tax incl.) per McFlurry. That’s nearly a 33% price increase! As I stated in my America’s Dog review, that’s airport pricing for you. Inflated. Regardless, the McFlurry tasted fantastic, as always. Smooth, creamy, and delicious. Quick service. They could make the menu easier to read. The text is a bit small, even when standing at the ordering counter. When your order is ready, not only will your number be called by an employee, but it will be displayed on a red computer screen above too.

4AM and nothing has really opened except for Hudson’s for some reading and Dramamine so I won’t throw up on my long flight. McDonald’s is open super early and I can get a couple of those awesome hash browns while waiting to board my 5AM flight. Fast, courteous, organized and comforting. I’ve seen this place during the day and evenings at ORD and ew it’s just too packed and chaotic looking, but super early in the morning before the rest of Chicago awakes, I’m down for McD’s here.

Good as far as fast food restaurants go! Needed some breakfast in between flights and a Mickey D’s sausage burrito and hash brown hit the spot! Service was very fast — even with the large amount of customers they had! As with other McDonalds at O’Hare — no seating is associated with this venue — you’ll need to find space at a Gate to eat.

Clearly a well ran McDonalds! This place has friendly staff and moves Quick. The food here is always fresh! The most efficient McDonalds I’ve been to considering there small space! Also, McDonalds in the airport is the only place you can go we’re the food taste the same as if I visited a regular McDonalds. All the other restaurants taste like cafeteria food!

Seriously, how can you not love McDonald’s when you’re GOINGTOMCDONALDS for a meal. Service was quick, food was as advertised and, per usual, was delicous. Extra star for the Shamrock shake that has returned and lifted the afternoon even a bit more!

The World According to Noelle Allergic Girl’s Guide to Life December 24, 2009 Allergy Girl arrives at O’Hare Airport. We caught the early morning flight and when we arrived it was lunch time– lunch time according to our tummies(we were still on west coast time). My better half was discouraging me from eating at the Golden Arches. He said, «Honey we hardly ever eat here. Let’s go to White Castle. I know you’ve been wanting to try White Castle.» Then the grumble in my tummy started. I told my better half that I needed to eat now or else I’d faint. We got our food and rushed to the baggage claim. I sat down as he got our bags. I took a bite and it was super salty. My better half had the same experience with his burger. It was too far to walk back and return the super salty burgers. As a side note, they do not serve the McDonald Mini Meals here. I’ve never had a saltier burger in my life. The fries were super salty too. Noelle’s Notes Skip it!

Breakfast Part II(on my return flight to Los Angeles). Considering that the flight from Detroit to Chicago was so short and gaining a hour with the time zone change, it was still very early in Chicago when we landed. I needed to eat something because it was a long flight to LAX and I had to eat the ground running when I got there. Similar to Detroit, there was not much open for breakfast. There were a few pre-packaged options, some pastry shops and a food court with unappealing options. I decided to visit(yet another) McDonald’s in Concourse C of the United terminal. I went with a sausage burrito and an orange juice. They messed up the order and gave me two sausage burritos(and no drink) instead. I did not bother to correct(unless it is really super critical, I hardly correct an order). I picked up a drink elsewhere. Anyway, the sausage burritos were fine. Very similar to what you would get at any other McDonald’s. The line moved quickly. I wish I could have tried something other than McDonald’s, but this concourse seems like a better option for lunch rather than breakfast. 2.5 stars.
