I’ve began ordering from this location about 5 years ago. I’ve dealt with incorrect orders, rude staff and delivery people. On a couple occasions, they’ve sent my orders to my sons school because I ordered lunch for him that one. So they changed my address in the system to his school. I had delivery people to contact me asking to borrow money (because they had gotten that familiar because I ordered a lot), a delivery person contacted me to give them a jump start because their car has stopped. The last straw with this location was, they delivered my items to the wrong house and gave me someone else order. They took the order from me (after I breathed on it and tampered with) and took it to the other house and try to do the same to me. I became irate and called the manager. Sam the manager said are you gonna take it (the order) or not I said no. I wanted a fresh order. He said ok, but one of the staff called me on their cell phone and told me that he was just wrapping the same order up. I called back and cancel my order. And requested that delivery bring tip back they he kept. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!!! I am now a faithful customer at Waldo Cooneys. At waldo Cooneys they have a better selection, more friendlier, and because I’m a regular, they give me sometime $ 5 off my order.

My family and I first ordered from Seashell when they opened up this location. The food was great, especially the speciality burgers. We felt we really found a hidden gem on the Southside of Chicago. Flash forward to now: The service has gone down and the prices have gone up. After ordering, our delivery driver could not find our house and didn’t understand which basic direction, such as which way North or South was. Then once the driver did arrive, she had no change on her, causing her to get a 10 dollar tip. Finally, to top things off, the order was wrong. The food that was right, was dripping with sauces, causing the bag to leak (including the nachos which barely had any chips except for the ones that liquified into the cheese). Most of the food had to be thrown away. This will be my last time going Seashell and I recommend this to anyone else as well.

I choose this place for fish. My first Grubhub delivery was very late, but the driver was nice and apologetic. It may be a while before I try delivery again. The counter service is usually slow and unfriendly, so I use GrubHub to bypass them to get the cook’s food.
