Visiting this place honestly feels like you’re visiting family. Gwen is officially the nicest lady we’ve ever met(the nicest man was at Bayseas Seafood in San Antonio, TX) and went so far as to offer us a welcoming hug. Now THAT’S sincere regard for visitors. And it really is sincere. The food is homemade, homestyle southern and is delicious! Fried chicken that’s second to none. BBQ ribs on Sunday, but pork chop Thursdays sound good too! The yam patty is sweet and almost citrusy and definitely addictive. Closing the meal out with peach cobbler is a must. The two of us enjoyed all you can eat home-cooked food for under $ 19 all in, including drink.

Absolutely adorable little establishment. If it’s your first time, Gwen will greet You with a pretty smile and a big hug. Welcoming atmosphere and the place was full with regulars, one who said he eats there 5 days a week. The atmosphere would bring me back. The food wasn’t anything amazing and not a big selection. Sweet and salty. The place itself could use some fixing/cleaning up. Couldn’t leave without a hug goodbye and a good bless you.
