Magic Nails

It’s hard to even give this place one star. I went in for a full set which said it was only $ 25 on the outside and inside of the store. At first, they tried to get me to pick out a gel polish and I said I wanted the most basic. They seemed impatient and quite unfriendly. The man doing my nails tore apart my skin under my middle finger and knew, but never stopped to check it. When I was drying my nails, I sat there for 10 minutes and he even told me that he «forgot.» Then they charged me $ 35 for my nails (which are painted horribly!) I will NEVER go back.

On November 5^th I got a new gel set & a gel pedicure, and I am proud to say that today December 7^th my nails may be a little grown out but all 20 of them are all still polished and shiny. The diamonds are still on my toes! Magic nails rocks :) definitely on the list of places to check out in Chico!

I will never come back here. They don’t know what they are doing I came for a pedi and meni but I can do a better job than this people so I ended just getting a pedi because she only cut my toe nails and gave a stupid feet massage that’s it. My feet looks worse than before. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE !!!

These are the best nail people in town, and I have been almost everywhere and have lived here a while. They’re very nice and do a great job I’ve never not been satisfied, and that says a lot if you get your nails done a lot. They just did my feet and hands for my sisters wedding and it was tricky finding the right color to match my dress but they were very nice about it while I couldn’t make up my mind. I also smudged my toes and he repainted them and fixed it making it perfect. Thanks so much I will be back in a few weeks for a fill!

Impatient and rude! Bad attitude all around but worst of all they reused the same equipment on my friend and I without cleaning.

Love this place! Best massage and they have over 500 gel colors! I suggest asking for Lee, she’s amazing :)

Be careful! I started getting my pedis done here about a year ago after a friend said she never had problems going. I noticed a nail lifting one day and showed to another health care worker friend. She told me it looked like toe nail fungus and to try tree tea oil, which I did for 7 mths… twice a day, along with other creams from drug store. I finally went to doctor yesterday, it’s Onychomycosis! They have to draw blood to make sure your liver and kidneys can handle the treatment! I will be taking this for three plus mths. Doc also said to stay away from these places. I’m not saying this IS in fact the place where it came from, but I’ve never had it and after going… I get it! If you walk in, notice the implements are just laying there from last person, not in cleaners and they don’t get up to get clean sterile stuff! It’s gross ladies! I’ve been sitting in those chairs n’ seen some of the feet that have gone in those tubs! I’m just saying… its your body, your hard earned money, look around before you sit down and hand it over to someone! I gave really good tips and I’m just very upset after yesterday’s doc appt and talking with doc. We were in agreement of how my toes got fungus. Be careful!

This place is nothing but a SCAM I took my sweet mother to get a basic pedicure and they told her to pick out a nail polish that they had in front and even pointed to the nail polish so my mom did, she sat all the way at the end so I couldn’t see her but when she was finished we went to pay and it was $ 25! We were confused and said no we just got a basic manicure and the woman said the nail polish was gel well my mother clearly stated she didn’t want gel! They pulled the same thing with a girl earlier and she was pretty upset. My mother and I were furious and they did nothing about it. This place was nothing but a SCAM and I will NEVER go back. I do not recommend ever going here.

Been coming here for several years. Always greeted with friend professional service. I have tried other places around Chico but Hanna at Magic Nails is my personal favorite!

Took my daughter for pedicures. This was the most painful experience of my life. They literally hurt us. I would never return

Worst manicure ever. Heels and toe area still rough. No top cost added. Very rushed. Won’t go back.

My friend and I have been here a few times, once for pedicures, once for gel, and this time for full sets. They do really well with pedicures; best massage chairs in town. Shellac was just average, no worse or better than anywhere else.
Today, when we went in for full sets we each picked a glitter tip and sat down and waited. My friends nails were started before mine, finished 45 min– an hour after. My nailed were barely prepped; they didn’t even push my cuticles down… And when they went to file after the acrylic about 4 fingers were stuck with acrylic. Ouch. Neither one of the glitter colors were the same as the sample. And her tech got up (with ouch saying anything) and went to do a wax on another client. Very unprofessional
