This place is a Chino gem! Food is plenty especially for the price but the place itself feels too grungy for my liking. I recommend the cinnamon french toast — bomb dot com. Our waitress was pretty old and it made me sad. Kinda made me want to wait tables for her… I also bought a lemon bar — YUM! Wait time isn’t terrible from my experience and the food comes out in a decent time.

This is one of mine and my girlfriends favorite place to have breakfast at. We accidentally stumbled upon this little dinner back in December of 2015. We had been to IHOP in Ontario and Chino and both places had a long wait. We were on a bit of a time table so I searched for restaurants near me and so we decided to try it out. Since then we have been back at least once or twice a month for our breakfast dates. Service is always good, food is always cooked the way we ask for it and the prices are even better.

Came over to Flo’s #2 today, for the Sunday half off a slice of pie deal and to my splendor got talked into some lunch and found out they have a Corned Beef Sandwich with double the melted Cheese and triple the corned beef! Now, I can’t breathe and will now have to wait to try their Key Lime pie! Now, about their pies. Lemmie tell you about der heavenly pies. «Thank you, baby Jesus for Flo’s delicious pies. They are da bomb! I am quite pleased with the delicious meal they have served me today. The server didn’t even know it was on the menu! Good portions and happy vibes at this southern home restaurant. It’s nice to have em a home cooked meal, like yur family. Try it out or not, I will definitely be back!

A very very delicious breakfast we just had. Service was ok, but we came on a Sunday morning so I understand, I could take 1 star because they literally took 30 minutes to come and offer us coffee, but the food made it all worth the waiting. The place is not fancy at all, but the Cinnamon french toast were by far the best I ever had(not joking), cheap prices and excellent food, what else can u ask for.

Best breakfast spot in town. This tiny diner serves the best biscuits and Gravy I’ve ever had. If you are new in town or are hosting guest this is the place to take them. The atmosphere really embraces the old country charm of Chino. Plus, you can’t beat the super friendly staff. Overall, this place is a must for a good old fashion American breakfast.

A great local establishment to get comfort food, especially breakfast. Their biscuits and gravy is outstanding as are the 3 egg omelettes. Biscuits are always fresh, light and fluffy. Come hungry as their portions are huge or share with your party.

Sevice was great at 7:30am and the portion are large. Like some other reviews yes the food is bland however I think they are catering towards senior’s citizens who can’t have too much salt etc. I prefer bobs big boy, mimis even IHOP has more flavor which is a last resort.

Good food, but service not up to par! No one checked on us after our food was served. Was difficult flagging down waitress to get assistance. The busboy gave us better service, smh!

Always a treat to come here, very homey and welcoming with the best coffee! Their biscuits and gravy are basically famous and their flos skillet and country fried steak is also good. It can get pretty packed on Saturday and Sunday morning but it is always worth the wait!

Food: 3 stars Service: 4 stars Overall: 3.5 starts but since I left full and satisfied, I bumped it to a 4. Ohhh my the portions are HUGEEEE! And the best part? It doesn’t even cost more than other places that give you about half the portion! I had the country fried steak which came with hash browns, eggs and you can choose between toast with jelly, biscuits and gravy or biscuits with butter. I went for the biscuits with gravy. When the food came out, our waitress put the first plate down. Then, to my surprise, part 2 of my order was placed down in front of me. TWOFULLPLATES?! One plate had the country fried steak so large it took up all the space on the plate. The second plate was completely covered with the eggs, biscuits and hash browns smothered in gravy. I was only able to finish half of it and took the rest home. Now for the taste, it was pretty good. However, I’m used to crispy country fried steak. This was on the soggier side. The hash browns were more like just a slab of potato. I didn’t think it was any better than a Denny’s but the portions were definitely way more generous!

Your typical local Midwestern feel good home diner. Décor and wait staff’s attitude definitely reflects that. Been here so many times I lost count. Great home cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good portions for price. Can’t go wrong with anything breakfast. Chicken fried chicken steak was crispy and juicy. Had the corned beef and cabbage and very impressed they didn’t use frozen carrots which was a plus! Friendly staff! Always a wait on Sat — Sun breakfast/lunch but goes fast. Plenty of parking.

Not the same space ambience or ciuntry feel… this place is a little cramped… the staff is just as friendly… arriving I saw a little bit of a wait however the bussers clean tables and set up for the next guest so fast that I just sat down before being called to my table. Not only do the waitresses check on you the bus staff comes by to make sure everything is good with your meal. As always I get the«everything omelette» with biscuits and gravy the food here is just as good as the original flo’s. Again the only drawback is the atmosphere.

This is my second time eating at Flo’s in just a matter of a week! First time was with my fiancé and we were craving us some breakfast in the afternoon. The decent breakfast spots that we went to before are usually closed early in the day, so we thought we’d have no luck satisfying our craves for the day until we browsed through Unilocal and decided to give this spot a try. As soon as we stepped in, we were greeted and told to choose to sit any place that we’d like. The modest setup inside was comfortable with feelings of homey warmth that are inspired from the welcoming and spunky placards that were hung along the walls. The service was as warm as the interior decorations ensued and the food tasted just as we imagined it would– deliciously hearty. Also, the portions here are very generous! I was so happy with my experience here the first time that I decided to come back with my best friend, who is also a breakfast lover herself. :) Everything remained consistent from the food to the service that we consider this diner our official go-to for breakfast whenever the craves decide to kick-in during the late afternoons.

AWESOMEHOMESTYLEFOODWITHLARGEPORTIONS. We have come here several times and have enjoyed it each and every time. The servers left a carafe of coffee on the table for breakfast and we’re very friendly and efficient. We have gone with the Mexican breakfast — Menudo and and avocado omelette with salsa. We have also done biscuits and gravy as well as the standard eggs and bacon with pancakes

Convenience, consistent food quality, reliable service, and the hometown feel keeps us going back to Flo’s #2. Located near downtown Chino and Central Avenue, this location has a good sized parking lot, but it gets packed during peak times; especially for breakfast. The menu is filled with classic breakfast dishes, such as various omelets, pancakes, waffles, corned beef hash, many types of proteins, and fresh bread. Each day breakfast and lunch specials are posted throughout. The specials and regular items are all very reasonably priced. Upon being seated, an employee is not far beyond to take your beverage order. We typically have coffee, which is served in an old school-style insulated carafe. This keeps refills easy to obtain right at the table. During this visit, I ordered the cinnamon roll fresh toast, which was one of the daily specials. This item came with eggs and ham(or bacon). This item was the perfect match of sugar and cholesterol to start my day. My much smarter partner in food adventures(wife) wife went with the turkey sausage, eggs, and wheat toast. This item was also very good. In regards to the service, it has yet to let us down. The servers are diligent, efficient, and friendly. Again, this is a classic diner-type establishment that might remind you of the old days.

First time here. Saw it on Unilocal a lot but kept on ignoring it. Service: it was nice to go in and seated, ordered, get your food. But after we got the food no one comes by until we were half way finishing and the server comes by and give you bill. I was like huh?! Food: nothing special for me. Steak was cooked the way I wanted medium pink inside, yeah! Their bland biscuits, eggs over easy and bland hash browns were under creamy-salty gravy, which tasted okay for me. And what husband ordered was a small breakfast, I think It was ham with eggs and hush browns. He said he had better breakfast else where. We ordered extra waffles which was puffy and nice. I saw strawberries jams on the side so I scooped a spoon out to try and it was really good. Atmosphere: nice and smell coffee like breakfast place. I love the smell of coffee not not drinking it:) Price: it’s nice to get good portions of what you pay for. Compared to ihop or Denny’s, I’ll be coming back here again. Cleanliness: I’ll give them a 5 if I didn’t had to keep on trying to fight with 2 flies flying around our table and food.

Disappointed =( Chicken Fried Steak — nice portion size but that’s about it really. The coating on the steak wasn’t crispy like how I’m used to having it. Before anyone says it was because the gravy soften it or anything, let me tell you, that was not the case. Gravy was on the bland side. The biscuits were not biscuits; they were like Hawaiian rolls. «Rolls and Gravy,» they should rename it to. Staff was very nice and friendly though and the food came fast so they get points for that.
