I was messaged by their business customer service team to apologize for the awful customer service in the restaurant but their follow up customer service is great. They don’t have to take the time to read our reviews, comment or send their apologies so I know the chain it’s self isn’t bad. Thank you for making our voice count IHOP.

My husband & i like this place & we normally come for breakfast or lunch. We like their service, no complaints w/​that, but i just had to make this post cuz it kinda got me upset…
I Unilocaled this place to get the phone number so i can order take out on a Sunday night. On Unilocal,it says that this business closes at 10pm – i called at 9:30pm. The girl i spoke to told me that she can’t take my order because their store closes in 10 minutes which would be 9:40. What the hell is that?! No bueno!

We walk in and manager tells us 15 min wait. We put our names and sat down. 30 min later hes calling people that just arrived and have been waiting for only 5 min. Horrible way to seat guests. Somebody should do something about the way he’s treating the customers. I understand when its for larger parties, but if you seat a party of 3 before us and were a party of 2 thats something wrong.

My experiences here are almost different every time I come to this IHOP. Sometimes I want to tip 30 percent, other times I don’t want to tip at all. Some times I am in love with their food and makes me want to order more. Other times, I wish I had gone else where.
I’m not sure what it is but I can’t get a consistent good or bad experience from this spot. The servers are ok. I dealt with servers who were on their good days, bad days, and I can care less days. I don’t expect to be treated like royalty or anything, but just kindness will do.
The food here is great sometimes, and sometimes, makes you want to go back there and ask if everything’s okay.
To simply put it, this place can be a hit or miss.

Don’t come here!!! They have a new staff or something is wrong with management. I took my family to eat today 12÷20÷15 and we order our food and we didn’t receive our food until like 40mins afterwards plus the pancakes were not even done!!! The pancakes took another 10 mins on top of that. Then I order a pumkin coffee and she wanted to hand me this huge cup that’s super hot instead of putting it on the table. Who does that ??? LET ME REMIND YOU ITS SUPER HOT!!! That’s a liability if I get burn … Duh!!! Then she was always asking us to lift up our plate and hand them to her… SHES getting paid to serve. LOL!!!
Before, we left I wanted to pay the bill and I called our waitress but she looked at me and KEPT WALKING!!! WHAT!!! SHE WALKED BY TWICE… This IHOP needs major training, I did not leave a tip. This is INSANE!!! No wonder the restaurant was EMPTY !!! Dont come here!!! Save yourself the headache.

I usually love IHOP so I was disappointed when my food was gross. I ordered the Belgian waffle, scrambled eggs and English muffin to go. I’m visiting a friend that lives only 5 mins away from this location so it’s not far at all. The waffle was very soggy and cold, my English muffin was quite burnt and I just won’t be buying from here again. :(
I’m those type of people who don’t eat out regularly so when I do buy food I like it to be delicious. Not what happened today.

IHOP, you try so hard to make your food look good. However, you lack in quality. Your prices keep going up, but your meals are the same thing from 7 years ago! The bill was $ 34 for me and my partner. A cup of coffee is $ 3. Way too much. I expect a lot more when paying $ 34 for breakfast.

After reading some of the reviews I was shocked that no one gave a 5 star review. Server, who I believe her name is Laura was super friendly and kind. She checked up on us every so often to make sure our drinks were full and if we were enjoying our meal. She recommended us the value plate which is around 8.99 plus tax. What a great deal! Comes with soup or salad an entrée and either tapioca pudding or ice cream. The soup was delicious and I usually hate country fried chicken but it was honestly so crispy and delicious it went so well with the brown gravy. Went around 5:20ish and it was somewhat empty only about 2 or 3 other people there. In all I would come back it was worth it.

This is my go to spot when I’m craving breakfast late at night. It’s always so quiet and the service is always really quick.
I love getting the sirloin tips & eggs with pancakes on the side. I love the different types of syrup. My favorite is the boysenberry! It’s so good!
Their are remodeling this location so check back after the first week of April!

Still very dirty.
Tables have syrup on them, carpet not vacumed.
Hasn’t been kept up in many years.
Silver often dirty.
Food is ok. A little over priced for what you get. But still ok.
Service is good. Pretty much all the servers are polite and kind.
Other then that, you may want to avoid this place.
Bad management.

Holy crap! This place is super expensive for what you get! I’m never coming here again! Go to cock a doodle across the street. Way better quality, and much less expensive.

Pricey.
Everything is priced more compared to alot of places,
I got a Monster burger It was Like $ 13.
The amount of fries that comes with it was equivalent to that of a kid size fry in a happy meal.
The Burger itsellf was good, but the meat didnt have alot of flavor and the lettuce was like eating paper,
The staff seemed nice, place was very crowded and is kinda small but it was Valentines day, so thats to be expected,
I go here alot for Chocolate Chip Pancakes they are the only place I know that sells them and they are Delicious.
I will be back, but I suggest lowering alot of the prices a buck or 2.

I love the food & there great customer service we get every time we go! This time that we went, there was a crowd of people, we still got GREAT SERVICE!
The Chino High 77 Calvary Band was there when we went to pick up my daughter. Of course my daughter was sitting with them, that’s only due to she used to be a part of the Chino High 77 Calvary Band for 3 years! We miss them but, my daughter misses the band way more than we do I am positive!
Anyways, the food was nice and warm, great tasting as always and all our drinks were constantly refilled without us having to constantly ask. How great is that?

Good things continue at the IHop in Chino on Central Avenue. The food was fresh, tasty, and the service was excellent. We went with the French toast combos with bananas, sausage, and egg beaters.
The owner was also present on this visit, and you can tell that he is an active owner. This probably is part of the reason why they do such a great job at this location. They also have some pretty weekday good coupons on occasion in local mailers in Chino and Chino Hills.
