This is an awesome location. The chicken is always on point! Everything is delicious here. This staff is friendly and they work fast. I constantly return for parties and the Tuesday Wednesday two chickens for $ 15.49! It is never a disappointment.

You don’t go to Juan Pollo for the atmosphere as its kinda divey. However, you can’t go wrong with their rotisserie chicken as its delicious and the prices are right. My favorite is the chicken salad and potato salad which is why I keep coming back!

Juan pollo has to be the best rotisserie chicken ever; you will never go to el pollo loco again after trying this place. The Chicken is well seasoned and juicy and the potato salad is amazing. They have several specials and coupons available. I ordered to go and the food came out quick and hot.

Great food and service. Wife and I like getting the tostada with chicken and share a small potatoes salad. Delicious and cheap.

Love Juan Pollo. We come here for the chicken tostadas and hot salsa($ 2.49 each). The potato salad is really good too. We drink water so our meal here is only $ 6.50 for 2 people which is unheard of. If they’d unplug the annoying machine that makes noise every few minutes, I’d bump it up to 5 stars

Ordered the ½ chicken Dinner Special and the Nacho Grande. I understand you really can’t spruce up chicken meat, chicken will always taste like chicken. But, the skin didn’t have much flavor. El Pollo Loco has more seasoning and taste on its chicken skin. The chicken meat here wasn’t flavorful at all, it was lacking something. Squeezed some lime wedges and that improved the taste a bit. The rice was bland. The potato salad was not bad. And, I didn’t even touch the beans; it looked too thick and re-re-fried for my taste. The queso that came with the nachos was good, but overall this dish was just shreddred, dry chicken over some bitter tortilla chips. I can now say that I’ve tried this place once, and that’s about it.

Oh dear I love this place their chicken is amazing it is so much juicier than el pollo loco. Also you must try their potato salad, it is very delicious, fattening but delicious. Make sure when you order you ask them to put poattoe salad in a separate bag since the chicken is so hot you don’t want to spoil the potato salad. Give them a try Im sure you will love their chicken

I enjoy juan pollo’s food. It is always consistent and tasty. IMO their chicken and sides are better than El Pollo Loco’s. Their sides taste homemade. I like to go here and get a family meal as a simple alternative to fast food.

Prices have gone up, even their specials. What used to be 5 bucks is now 7.50, their 2 chicken special is now 15.50. Their chickens seem smaller too. Still love their hot salsa, potato salad, and rice.

Awesome potato salad. Mediocre chicken! I’m not quite sure what the race is about because this place stinks. The chicken tastes like it was a day old and the rice was meh. The hard shell tacos were just as bad as the chicken. Pollo loco is definitely better. They only get 1 star for the potato salad. If not, where the 0 star option

Juan Pollo is delicious juicy chicken. The beans were fantastic as well. I will never go back to that Crazy Chicken place again.

Chicken is a hit or miss. Sometimes it has very little flavor and is extremely dry. The service is ridiculous as 50% of the time your order will be incomplete. How do you forget a whole chicken? Can you get someone that at least listens to the order at the cash register?

I have always prefered JP over Pollo Loco or KFC. It’s just delicious. The only thing I have to knock stars off for is service. They just don’t pay attention to the orders as well as they should sometimes. Once we were missing 2 pieces of chicken, the next we recieved the wrong side. If they tried a little harder to make the service as satisfying as their food, they’d have 4 stars from me.

CRAP! Dark street, hard to find, staff was just blah. After searching like crazy for a menu on line(there wasn’t a real one), they were out of several basic things! No diet sodas, no nachos, only flour tortilla. Chicken was DRY and salty. Like I’ve never had chicken this dry, ever. Beans were watery and bland. Rice was like eating hard air; literally no taste what so ever. The potato salad was good. Will never return. Went to one in Paramount, it was 100% better than the one near my house! I was very very disappointed with my dinner.

This place is a local institution! Iv been eating here since I was a kid. The chicken is always tops the rice is second to none and don’t get me started on the potato salad. The tacos are also really good, soft and hard shell. Forget el pollo loco! Really take the time to stop at this great old school chicken spot you will be happy you did.

A little gem in the inland empire, way better than pollo loco. Their chicken has alot of flavor, never dry and not too oily. For their sides you must have the potato salad and those sweet fried tortialls… I’m not sure what they’re called. Actually, I do but not sure how to spell it… Bonuelos I think«/… Anyways… I highly recommend!!!

My navigation directed me to the old address, after not locating it I happen to see their sign across the street. The correct address is 5460 Philadelphia Ste J. I was visiting 10 clients in Montclair so I took my order to go. The new location is tricky to find but free parking is provided. I ordered the family pack to go — 3 chickens, beans, rice, potato salad and 2 liters of soda. I found out this location is still owned by the original owner of Juan Pollo so I had high expectations. The chicken was fresh, plumpy and the sides were plentiful and yummy. I was given paper plates and plastic utensils and there was enough food to feed everyone. I would recommend this location and I’ll return here again also.
