I originally came here when Fatburger was in Pacific Beach. I did their «Triple King Challenge» which was basically eat an XXXL Burger meal. Afterwards, they take your photo & give you a certificate that you completed the challenge. I don’t know if I should be proud of being able to eat all that food without any struggle.
The burger basically consisted of 3 Burger Patties, Cheese, lettuce, tomato, ketchup & mayo. The meal came with thick cut fries & a large drink.
The food was actually good when I had it & not sure why these other Fatburgers are closing down. Unfortunate thing I guess when you Franchise your brand.

Told you guys you would be closing down if you didn’t change. Hopefully they open up a Five Guys now.

Boooooo! This is the best burger place in the area. With that in mind, I came here to get some excellent burgers only to find out that this location is closed. Definitely a bad move. Feeling let down. Would’ve gave more stars if they were open

My sister and I came here for the first and last time tonight. They had an employee who was washing tables handing out food with a dirty rag in his hand. They handed our food to the wrong table. After our food was handled by the wrong people they tried to serve it to us… absolutely disgusting

Awesome food, desert fried cheesecake with ice cream and beer!!! Can’t go wrong with that !!! Plus so many huge tvs plus awesome customer service has become my family spot for big games and family night !!!/

Overprice average burger. In and out burger is 10 times better and cheaper. Not coming back to this place again.

The service was pretty terrible. They got my order mixed up with my friend’s, however excluded my fries. There is a bar, but the bartender is definitely MIA. There are previous customers’ trays everywhere. The burgers are pretty plain and tasteless. Definitely no seasonings. Would not recommend.

Me and my friend ate there and I had to double X burger and onion rings and my friend had the X burger and rings and we were not impressed at all the pickle relish was too sweet on the burgers and the onion rings were overcooked and no crunch I’d recommend that they get a tempura batter for the onion rings and just either use the relish and no pickles also was very pricey but I did like the banana shake

Im only giving this place 5 stars because i came in literally 15 minutes before they closed and they just finished cleaning the grill to close up shop, they took my order they were pissed but they took it!!! It was like i got the freshest burger coming off that clean grill lmao idk how the burger going to taste in the middle of someones shift when theyre tired of flippin patties and dont give a shit. But this one was spectacular, my recommendation come in right when they unlock the doors or 15 mins before thry lock them

My burger was overcooked and completely dry. I felt like I was robbed once my total was read. Very disappointing considering their website showed they were open at 10, but their door said 10:30, so we waited 30 minutes for less-​than-​average food. Won’t ever visit again.

Nice, quiet little place :) food was good. It’s restaurant prices for like fast food. Pretty pricey.

I could chow down on the fat fries all day long but won’t order another burger there, it seem to have too much filler like I was eating G’Mas famous meatloaf.
Great atmosphere and decent service though

Food is good. Nothing spectacular. They have great & fast service, nice big tvs in the patio area, those cool new soda machines, fresh lemonade, ice cream sundaes, wifi, evrything you would like at a burger joint. Prices are the same as other burger places. Menu is very basic chicken tenders, burgers, fries, & soda. I have been here a couple times, theres not a lot of food options at chula vista center compared to other malls soo i just stop by when im in the area.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. I ordered tenders and curly fries, maybe ordered the wrong thing since burgers are the main feature. But the fries were not curly, broken more like, and were in short supply. Overpriced, overcooked and small portions. Such a fuss when in and out is down the street and fairly priced.

Came here because everything else besides BWW was closed before we saw an 11:00pm show. I didn’t realize how pricey it was. $ 1.00 to add cheese on a burger! THAT’S RIDICULOUS. I feel bad because it’s a franchise, so it’s not like the manager of this specific location set the prices, but there is so much good food in San Diego, I’d rather have Slaters ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ or Counter for an expensive burger.
I got ¹⁄₃ lb burger, boyfriend got ½ lb burger, we shared a side of fries and both got cups for water. $ 20.XX! i’m down to pay good money for good food, but this was not one of those times. The burger wasn’t disgusting, but the meat was very dry and didn’t have much flavor.
Their fries were pretty good and the guy working the register (Michael, maybe? I can’t remember) was really nice.

This place is pretty much an overpriced fast food place. Really disappointed since it looks nice on the outside but their food is just not worth it.
I came here a couple of times. First time, I ordered a chicken burger, with fries and a drink. To be honest, I hated the burger. First impression: The burger is smaller than expected especially for the price you pay.
But I guess that’s a good thing since I wasn’t able to finish it… it just tasted funky after a few bites.
Second time, I decided to give them another chance and ordered a regular beef burger. It wasn’t any better than the chicken burger. Instant regret after the first bite! It just taste really bland and plain for both burgers.
I wouldn’t give this place any stars for the food but the two stars are for the people who work there, they seem friendly and greet you once you walk in. The place is kept clean too.

Third time at a fat burger and I must say this was my third time. This location must be the nicest I’ve been to. I thought that fat burger would be same size as a subway or Starbucks but as i entered I saw how big it really is. It stretches back to the other side of the mall. It is very spacious. They have the fancy soft drink machine which is pretty exciting. The girl that attended us was pretty nice. She told us that they will be serving alcohol sometime towards the end of November. We waited for our food and it came out pretty fast. I was shocked at how big the burger was and embarrassed that I managed to eat the entire thing. I will definitely be coming back here. This fatburger is going to explode when they start serving alcohol. I can’t wait!

Going with the 3.75 stars. I am a big fan of Fatburger in Las Vegas. Every Fatburger outside of Las Vegas for some reason has been a disappointment. I am not sure why. This location though was pretty good. I came one evening just before closing and everyone was friendly and asked how my food was. The burger was good, fries ok, and like I said, pretty decent service. I can not wait till they start serving beer. Maybe then, the prices may drop a bit with the alcohol markup.

I actually came to Fat Burger on Opening day, but I just been so busy so this review is a few days late, but I had the Medium Fat burger with Swiss cheese and a side of Fat Fries, a vanilla milkshake, and some coconut jerk tenders.
The burger and fries were pretty good (
). The burger’s patty had a nice crust formed from the hot griddle which was a good way to keep it juicy, but I have to say it needed more seasoning than what they put, if any. I had to doctor it up a bit with salt and pepper which helped the beef’s flavor (
). One thing that made the burger a little difficult to eat, was the way the buns overlapped the ingredients inside (
). It made the burger a little wobbly and it would tip over, if I did not place it a certain way for balance, so I re-​organized the ingredients and made it more manageable (
).
The fries were pretty and meaty with a golden brown color and light seasoning. The coconut Jerk tenders are great and I would order these again. The meat inside was juicy and tender and the flavor combination of coconut and jerk was very nice (
). The vanilla milkshake had good vanilla flavor, but it was a little runny (
), although it did make it easy to slurp up with a straw.
Service was up beat and friendly, perhaps a little rushed, but the girls checked up on me often and asked if I needed anything several times.

Have my received my food yet but pretty disappointed seeing as this is a brand new restaurant and we decided to visit and their soda machine is down?!
C’mon guys get it worked out… you haven’t been open that long to be messing up already.
