If I could give 0 stars I would, they denied to take my order because I wanted it to go and they said they were too busy for it. Horrible business. Never coming back, I see why people always speak negatively about it. That’s not a way to run a business, probably will be closed soon.

Terrible business ethic and model. What kind of place REJECTS to-go orders just because their store is «busy?» Responded in the most rude way possible. I’ll be letting all of my friends know that this place is shit and to stay away.

Came here on a Sunday night and it was pretty empty there were about 3 other tables besides mine. Service was good. They checked on us often and were very quick. I ordered miso soup, lobster roll, and the salmon lover roll. The lobster roll was really good I love the deep fried lobster pieces on top and the Salmon lover was also really good! I love that sauce they put on it. Fresh salmon is always a must!

We have been here a couple of times and the food is always good. Today we had the seaweed salad which was Hella good, volcano roll Hella good, Mexican roll this one was or favorite out of all the rolls we had, spicy ramen was good and the cucumber roll wifey loved it is wasn’t really a fan because it had no rice. Last we had the tempura fried green tea ice cream action man that hit the spot. The server we had was Hella friendly actually everytime we go here all the servers are very friendly. Highly recommended!

Sushi is great, service is horrible. Had a large party of 12 and when we wanted to split the bill the young manager told us it was to hard to do and handed us a single receipt. We split the bill ourselves and indicated what amount to put on what card and he screwed it up and then literally shrugged his shoulders, handed us the receipt and told us we had to figure it out but that wasn’t the worst part. When I approached him about the situation he blamed our party for wanting to split the bill. I totally get that some restaurants don’t split bills but a sign was not posted nor was it verbalized to us. Don’t blame the customers that just spent a whole lot of money at your restaurant. Needless to say I will not be returning, I’d rather make the extra mile or 2 trip to other good spots in the area.

Love the fact that this place is open until Midnight! Super yummy and really enjoyed the Super Rainbow roll. The restaurant overall has a chill ambiance, and like another reviewer posted they play some good jams! My hubby was vibin’ to the music the whole time and was talking music with our waiter who also hooked it up with complimentary green tea ice cream. We will definitely will be coming back regularly to see what else is on the menu.

I called to get their menu online and they said they dont have one. Only way to see menu is while you are in their establishment… Odd

Tonight I celebrated four months together with my girlfriend, so we went to i-Sushi. We ordered the Caterpillar roll and the Black Tiger. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our waiter’s name was Johnny and the owners name was Michelle. Johnny was very patient with our order, and he was very polite. I was greatly impressed with this restaurant all around.

I’m so disappointed in the direction of this place. I used to love it, but ever since the owner relinquished control to the 20 something manager, I don’t want to go there to dine in. Someone reviewed that they play RNB. Not really. I really don’t want to hear lyrics like, «I gave it to her hard» while I’m eating with my family. Not to sound like I’m an old fart, but the music is too loud for a restaurant and to offensive. The food has also suffered. The sushi doesn’t taste fresh. My previous 5 stars have lost their luster. Disappointing.

This place is a solid 4.5 stars in my book. Came in here expecting this place to be like every other sushi place and it turned out to be a lot better than I expected. The service here is amazing, especially for ppl that come in an hour before they close, their music is on point playing updated jams, and over everything… got our food quick and hella fresh. The only downfall of why I didn’t give them 5 out of 5 is the fact that they didn’t have a full bar. We asked for Henny shots when we got in and they only have sake and jap beer. But overall I love this place and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Whenever I’m in need for a sushi fix in the Eastlake/Otay ranch area this is my go to place. Ambiance is cool, good music, and décor is great but most importantly delicious and well prepped food. Fell in love with the quality of their sushi the first time I came that, I just kept coming back. They have a great selection on rolls and the fish just tastes so fresh. Who ever says other wise has no idea what they’re talking about. O.M.G and Hawaiian poke roll are two of my faves amongst many others, annnd if you have room for dessert try the banana tempura with green tea ice cream. Mmmm. Also if you have time to make it in for lunch, totally recommend it. Great choices for their bento boxes.

Really cool, dim, small, quiet sushi place. Nice decorative colorful blackboards for their specials. The hostess was welcoming once we opened the door plus We got seated by the window. Our server was a polite guy started us right away with some waters, got our tempura and edamame covered right away while waiting for our food. Get THE folly that’s baked with scallops and lobster on it. I already forgot the take but I’ll post a picture of it. Felt bad because we kept forgetting to asked what we al needed at once so has had to send him back for little stuff like lemons and spicy mayo like two or 3 times but he was cool about it. He made a comment like«anythiiiiing else» but in a joking manner. Our visit was really quick but pleasant. 5 rolls and 2 mixed bowls 2 appetizers for $ 88

First timer! Didn’t really read any reviews made by others… I just LOVE sushi! So I placed an order to pick up. Staff was really nice and even gave me a call when food was ready. Affordable, fresh… DELICIOUS! It’s close to my area so I didn’t have to go far. Very happy with the choice I picked. I tried the spider roll, dragon roll and the spicy rainbow roll! thank you iSushi for being sooo good you satisfied my craving for the night lol

Delicious! Dynamite & Awesome Rolls were exactly how they tasted. I love the old school hip hop jams too. Great environment for my husband and I to enjoy and still be able to have our lil one join us.

Today I went out of my comfort zone to try something different. I normally eat crab, shrimp, lobster, oyster’s or tuna. Today I tried the salmon lover. I asked if I can get it thinly cut because I didn’t know what I was expecting lol. To be honest it was very good. So much flavor I couldn’t even take the salmon… I liked it a lot!

ONLYCOMEHEREFORLUNCH! They don’t have the combos for dinner(EVENTHOUGHTHEYSHOULD!) But this place does keep getting better and better every time I dine here! :D isushi, you’re MY-sushi ;D and even if I do kinda miss the good ol’ Yokozuna’s, y’all are slowly making your way into my foodie soul :) HUGEINSIDESCOOP: I repeat — ONLYCOMEHEREFORLUNCH! Their lunch bento combo specials are so generous! $ 8 to $ 10.75(depending on which combo you choose) can get you a plethora of combos from columns A and B! For example, I got a Combo A + B + B which consisted of mixed tempura, teriyaki salmon, and a Philly roll they also came with piping hot(just the way I like it) miso soup, salad and rice! YES!!!(Check out my pics) The rolls here have been perfected since the last few times I was here and I KIDYOUNOT: I seriously crave their Philly Roll specifically! It’s THAT good I guess! Side Note: I have to say that even though the lunch bento combos are my favorite, they are a bit challenging to read and understand when initially analyzing then on the menu. Could there be a menu update with clean lines and more visual samples? JUST A THOUGHT: D Get your sushi roll on! :P

isushi is definitely a pretty penny to spend on sushi. I find it interesting how their table setting décor exhibits a slight bit of luxury with the black chairs and tables however it off putting when you see fresh fish tanks right at the entrance. Even from where I was I sitting it was a little displeasing seeing seafood market type fish tanks in front of me while eating. Service was excellent and attentive with lots of nice attractive individuals working the floor. I was disappointed by the quality of their sushi however. If I’m paying higher than average costs for my fish cravings I expect it to follow through completely. I ordered the lettuce roll which was it is exactly as it sounds. Raw Tuna and Salmon mixed with imitation crab meat wrapped around huge lettuce leaves and garnished with eel and spicy mayo sauce. It is an interesting take on an equivalency to a protein style burger from in and out. I was disappointed mainly by how fishy the salmon was. It had a very foul taste almost as if had been left out or properly refrigerated. The tuna however was perfect fine. What saved it for me was the amazing calamari appetizer. I asked the server if it was frozen than fried and he assured me that it was breaded and dredged fresh! It did not disappoint and I would definitely recommend anyone to Order the calamari to see for yourself. Aside from my personal gripes, isushi offers an variety of sushi rolls which caters to about every taste bud. Even though the rolls are repetitive to its multiple competitors scattered all through out San Diego its nice to have an array of sushi for those who are dieting low on carbs.

My first review here but not my first time. However, it was my first time for lunch, and I must say i was just as pleased and satisfied with the food and service that I’d experience with my evening visits. You can tell fish is always fresh and all the little condiments that are used along with their rolls are just as good. I tried their oysters for the first time and they happen to be delivered the same morning! Not sure if they get fresh batches all the time or just happened to come on the right day but these were just as fresh and prepared just right with the right garnishments. All in all, if you’re ever in the area(Southbay), I’d highly recommend this place. I prefer them over the other local sushi bars. Cheers to isushi!

Amazing sushi. So much variety and that includes baked specialties as well. They also recently added ramen, which does not disappoint considering it is a sushi restaurant. My recommendations are the Toot-C and Diablo rolls. The Toot-C roll has meat instead of fish on top, but it’s still very delicious with the shrimp tempura inside. The crunchy onions on top makes a wonderful compilation of flavors for this roll. The Diablo roll is baked. There’s lobster and scallop on top. What I love about this roll is that it’s always served warm and never cold. The atmosphere very much appeals to the younger crowd, but still family friendly. Try it for yourself!

Their customer service is on point. They greet you right when you walk in and are consistent with their tables, seems like each table doesn’t have its own particular waiter but it’s ok still good customer service. I like the ambience of this place since it’s very modern and plays RNB music which I love because you can jam on while you have a few sake bombs during their happy hour.(*They only have drink specials for happy hour, no food specials*) I know I was a little bummed, looking at their prices which are more on the pricier side for a Japanese restaurant. THEFOOD! We ordered a miso soup, garlic edamame, curry, and a crunchy roll. The miso soup was too«fishy» for my liking literally tasted like fish and I have no idea why. Garlic edamame was good, can’t go wrong with that. Curry was average, big portion but not as up to par. Crunchy roll was way too sweet, drenched in their sweet sauce and the«crunchies» were dry. For the price? I would go somewhere else with better quality sushi especially for the price you pay. This place is simply average, I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here nor would I recommend it. However, if I am in the area and craving some sushi I would give it another chance, maybe it was just what I ordered that was«decent» perhaps they have better menu items.
