This place is no longer open, but I must say, they had the best salt and pepper fries in the area! So sad to see them go.

This place not only had good drinks but food as well. The employees were all really nice too. It was my go to place when I needed a boba fix because their large size was more like extra large ha. I’m so sad it’s closed now.

FYI. Max Cup is closed. This place is now Otay Lake Phở. I will miss their calamari, their lava fries and their Max cup drinks

My wife and I come here for their boba. Huge cups either 24oz or a 34oz, taste delicious and cheaper than the other boba spots…#Winning

The most disappointing seafood sushi ever tried in 15y in SD. Menu was uninspired, mostly fried foods(reminded me of del mar fair.) Service was lackluster, pretty countergirls on clock, but not greeting customer or taking order. I had to walk up to the counter after entering & saying hi to them, sat for several minutes watching two of them behind counter and because never came to my table to take order. My «house special» sushi came before the miso soup ;(. Soup was served by nice older woman. The soup was made with canned corn ;(( The sushi(SPICEYTUNA) was a big disappointment. this is what they choose to call the House Special? The sushi roll«tuna» was CANNEDTUNA, colored and flavored !! The wasabi was some diluted fluffy stuff. No one came by after dropping off meal to ask how it was. Two countergirls too busy flirting with boy who came into restaurant with dog off leash? Yuck! The later put it on leash and sat inside with dog while the customers cringed. Décor was«fun» but cheap and the window displays, table top supplies, and«eye in the sky» reeked of do-it-yourself bottom of the line purchase decisions. Food did not seem to be in anyway inspired or true to Asian cuisine. I stopped here on my way out to Otay Lakes, the location is in a mall with other eateries. Next time Ill try a competitor in same location rather than returning.

Went here a couple weeks back. So it’s about 9:25pm and I was in the area. Checking through Unilocal and found this place and thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately they closed early. The lights were still on and I saw one person sitting at the table, the server and an older man near the register. The door was locked. So I knocked on the window and ask if they were open. I would believe the owner(the older male) said No. If your shop says you’ll be closing at 10pm. Shouldn’t you still take customers at 9:25pm? Sadly I’m giving this establishment a 1 Star for now.

Excellent customer service! If you live in Chula Vista and you’re craving for Ramen, you don’t need to go all the way to Convoy to satisfy your craving. They have Tonkatsu Ramen here and it goes perfectly with Brown Sugar Milk Tea!

Great service. It’s just like any other boba spot with the lounge seating and games. The boba drinks come in one size only and it’s a big wide container. I don’t know how many ounces, but it’s also a bit expensive around $ 6. I don’t like their big cups because it doesn’t fit in the cupholder in the car. Also, I don’t always want that much of a drink and it’s a waste.

Came here to check if their honey butter toast would be a closer alternative to Up 2 U Café. Wishful thinking. We ordered the honey butter toast and the nutella toast, both with no sprinkles. They were both ok. Husband ordered a regular sea salt coffee, which he said was pretty good, but we couldn’t get over the size of the cup and its shape. It was huge! Overall we would probably go back out of curiosity to try other menu items, but we are not in a rush to do so.

Food is tasty and the drinks awesome! Prices are not expensive at all. Customer service is on point. Been here about four times in the past month. Try their Curry chicken/pork. Squid balls, popcorn chicken. Noodles are also good Check em out!

Yummy ramen and inexpensive. Staff was friendly and explained what was in each menu item we ordered. We had the miso ramen, pot stickers, seaweed salad and a brown sugar boba milky drink. All of it was delicious. I agree with the other reviews that suggest trying their drinks. Next time I’ll try their rainbow shaved ice.

Honestly nothing special. Huge portions for drinks but not all that great in comparison to the quality you can get at lollicup or Tapex. However the décor is cute and minimalistic and girls at the register were friendly.

I love their stout cups! Cool concept. There was a lot of milk tea, although I must admit it wasn’t the best I’ve tasted. It was sweeter than I like, but all in all not too bad. Very milky and sweet. Friendly staff! I might return.

They have a good selection of food. I went for the boba, the milk tea is good but I thought the balls were a little hard. I also got an avocado roll and asked for easy rice but I got more rice than avocado. I’ll come back and try the brick toast.

I came here with my best friend an hour before it closed. I admit the staff was nice, the girl at the register was very nice and attentive. I like the big cups the boba came in! More for me! Yum! however, it wasn’t that great. I wasn’t feeling the foamy stuff inside was it whip cream? My best friend ordered the Thai tea with boba and threw it away not even half way through it. I’ve had better boba. I’d drive an extra 5 minutes to tapex up the street. Btw, we came in today looking for shaved ice and since the menu had it when we went up to purchase we were told they did not have it anymore. We were pretty bummed. Please update your menu! Overall probably won’t be back again. :/

My friend suggested this place because of the unique cup size. A regular cup was too big for me to finish in one sitting. I sipped about half of the drink and saved the rest for later. I got the passion fruit yogurt drink. It’s extremely refreshing on a hot day, but also extremely sweet. If you can’t handle sweets, get something else. The interior looks cute, but is also dirty. Staff can do a better job of cleaning the place.

I ordered the lava chicken fries. The fries where undercooked. The chicken was the worst I have ever had. I eat the fries and tossed the«chicken». I compare what they consider chicken to ground up chicken parts. The nuggets at McDonald’s are not that desire able but hands down have more meat It only costs 3.99 which may explain it. Charge 5.99 And use real chicken. I went during the day and I was the only person there. The cashier after taking my order sat down in the booth and started texting away. Hmm no cleaning or prepping needed? Aside from the that the place was clean. A clean front usually means a clean kitchen I can’t say anything about the drinks. It died look like a nice place to hang out. Not sure if there will be a return trip for me. Raise the prices in the food and give customers food they want.

I was craving their mocha smoothie. I had a few minutes to spare before work so I figured why not stop by. so I did. I was the only one there. around 1:45pm or so. The girl took my order. Took forever. The owner was there. He did not say a word to me, but looked angry and stared at me mean every now and again. Waiting… waiting… still no drink. Then finally, got my drink. It was dripping from the whipped cream she packed in the cup. the lid would not close. the drink was still crunchy from all the ice that was not blended properly. and it tasted NOTHING like the first time I had it. I don’t understand how they’re running the place, but they seriously need to fix a lot of things. and learn to smile and be friendly.
