Best phở in chula vista. Or should I say San Diego. I’ve been to other phở restaurants and honestly they don’t compare. I swear their food is always the same. They are very consistent. Always bomb! I don’t know how they do it. I’ve been coming here for three years, always great. And to top it off the environment is very relaxing. I recommend it to everyone.

Food was good… waiting was a bit long. …but so far so good. Soup was good and the wings were good as well.

Phở is good but shitty ass service. My cousin and I ordered Thai tea and weren’t satisfied so we politely asked our waitress if we could switch out our drinks to something that’s the same price(we barely took a sip out of the Thai tea) and the waitress told us «we can’t change it, not my fault.» Rude much? Yeah not coming back.

My cousin and I decided to order Thai tea with our phở. When we got it we took a sip out of it and wasn’t satisfied with how it tasted so we asked our waitress politely if we can switch it out for a drink that was the same price because we weren’t satisfied with it and this is what she told us, «we can’t exchange it, not my fault.» Well then… I understand that we ordered it but we weren’t happy with it. Wouldn’t you want to be able to satisfy the needs of your customers in any way possible? I work at a restaurant and we’re able to switch out a drink they aren’t satisfied with, without a problem. Overall, the phở was great.

My hubby and I wanted to try this place out. We were greeted by a woman too busy to get off the phone. Then took forever to what we wanted to order. The meat for phở was old and made phở taste like their refrigerators. We were never checked up on or was there anyone in the dinning room. When we paid I had to ring a bell and wait for the same woman to come from the back the building(I knew because they had surveillance monitor right by the register with many cameras on screen). Please don’t bother going here! My favorite place for phở is Phở Hiep and Grill on Telegraph Canyon road or their second restaurant same name in otay ranch.

I’ve been out in San Diego for a few days, and although I love the beach and the beautiful atmosphere, I need food in my belly! I was seriously going to settle for BWW’s and then I remember running across some delicious Phở places on my way here. Not being a native, Unilocal came just in handy and lemme just add THISPLACEIS A GEM! I looked at maybe one or two reviews before saying«Fuck It, I’m eating here» Lol the pictures of the spring rolls were TOOGOOD to just pass up! Like I’m not kitten meow, if you guys are in the area pay this place a little visit it’s delicious :’) The service was spot on! The older gentlemen in charge of taking my order was so nice and helpful. No rude service and very attentive. The food was AMAZING! I had a large bowl — combination with all the fixings and double the sides I’m not sure if they charged me extra? But honestly I don’t even care And an order of their pork and shrimp spring rolls Their broth made my mouth water! The jalapeños are cut so thin I think I prefer this much more than thicker cuts. The meat was tender and juicy and the noodles… I’m pretty sure I’ll be back tomorrow and maybe every day till I head back to riverside :’) The peanut sauce guys THEPEANUTSAUCE… I found myself sticking my finger in the sauce once I finished my rolls bc it was just so darn good! The rolls and phở are prepared with so much I love, or maybe I was just really hunger, or maybe Los dos? Any who COMECOMECOME check em out! Ps my fatass had to order two more orders of spring rolls to take home I commend this place and its workers you’ve left a great firsts impression on me and I shall be back very soon!

Wow! I came here with boyfriend and his daughter. The grilled pork summer rolls were fresh and delicious– even his daughter who doesn’t like vegetables ate her whole portion, lettuce and all! Boyfriend had phở with rare steak, tendon, and flank. The soup was savory with a nice kick. I had a tofu and veggie soup– nice selection of fresh mixed vegetables(broccoli, bok choy, cabbage, carrots). Daughter had kid’s beef phở. We were very pleased with service, ambience, and food!!!

I am new to this area and on a hunt for the best Phở so I happened to stop by this place, was not to impress by the sticky table glass, looks like they need to clean it better, lighting was dim but place looks ok on decorations, I ordered a child’s phở for my daughter and small special for myself. Bowl came out and I started to eat then realized that my daughter never got her food. The lady was hiding some where in the back so my 7 year old daughter didn’t want to wait anymore, she had to get up and go to the back to ask where her food was, lady told her she forgot. Wow, if they check up on their customers after giving them food we would not have this problem. In fact we didn’t see them again after they brought out my daughter’s phở bowl. You would think after not checking on us the first time that they would come back and ask us if everything is ok but they didn’t. Now let’s talk about the food. Phở noodles were a little harder then they suppose to be, broth is a little sweet, meats are fine, and temperature of broth could be hotter bc after adding the veggies I find it warm to the taste and not hot like most other phở places. I can’t tell you about anything else because they never came by to ask us if we needed anything else, food portions are small so you might want to order large bowl or extra food at the beginning or else you will never get chance to order again. I would not recommend this place bc there are like 4 or 5 other phở places that do better service and have better food that are on the same street. I gave them a try and was not impressed, two stars is fair rating for what I went through.

My family and i loove this place! Very friendly staff and were happy to hear that they expanded to lemon grove! It is the only spot where we can get vegetarian chicken phở, that is out of this world!

I wish I could give a rating based on food, but I didn’t even have a chance to order! I walked in, the place was empty. waited for 5 minutes, no one was at the register, I could hear people talking in the kitchen. After 10 minutes of waiting, I called their phone, no one came out to answer the phone either! I walked out and headed elsewhere. Good luck getting service here.

The food is good but this is the last time I come here! I ordered spring rolls and a pork sandwich. On my second bite of my first spring roll I discovered a long black hair. I know for sure it was not mine having light brown hair but also because it was rolled into the spring roll and I didn’t roll it myself. I called the lady who was in front over and she stated everyone wears hair nets. I then proceeded to pull the entire hair out showing her it was rolled in. She then just took the rest of the rolls away but when I received my check she still charged me for them. I was too upset didn’t bring it up just told her I wouldn’t be coming back and paid my bill. No apology or anything!

My mind was blown away by this place, My other half took me here on New Years Day. No hang over but wanted phở. :). I must say this place has great food and the men that helped that day were very nice and the food was hot and with great flavor. If you are in the mood for phở this is the place to go or for other stuff like spring rolls served with lettuce. Great way to start the year ;)

Food is good. Service is bad. Come in when you have time to kill, because these guys are slow and lazy. And bring your own water since they won’t refill it unless you beg for their attention.

YUMYUMYUM! I stumbled upon this place desperately seeking phở for my hangover cure. It did exactly what I wanted it to. I absolutely loved their phở, it was delicious! I’ll be going back to get my fix from now on!

What a disappointment… Small servings, but the flavor of their dishes were aiiite. Lets star off with the appetizers. The egg rolls… 2 out of 5: These things were tiny and over priced! A thumbs up from grumpy of the seven dwarfs dwarfed the size of these measly egg rolls. The wrapper was stale, but the fish sauce saved it all. If it weren’t for that pesky fish sauce I would have gave the eggrolls 1 out of 5 and used it as a finger transplant for a munchkin. The Sandwiches… oh lord 2 out of 5: Nothing spectacular. Really Why the hype about this place? I don’t know if they add lemon to it, but it tastes a lot more sour than what I’m used to. K sandwiches needs to take them to school in this divison. Phở Dac Biet: 3 out of 5: I would have gave them a 4 if they didn’t over price the poverty portions. The flavor was great, broth was soothing and delicious, but after my 3rd sip it was all gone. The owners were kind and polite… not when it came to portions, but with the service. The location is not too bad even during rush hour. When we visited this place was dead empty. The facility was clean, but the service lacked. cups weren’t refilled and I had to steal chopsticks, spoons and sauces from the other tables.

Hate to give this a two-star, but the description of «meh. i’ve experienced better» never rang more true. Mind you, that this is based on a take out order. The man that helped me was polite and I got my food very quickly. $ 7 for a beef phở soup small. To me, a bit on the expensive side for what I got. When I got to work, I opened my bowl to 6 small 3 – 4 inch dry beef pieces, onions and a wee bit of noodles. I’ve been to other places and they were more generous with the portions of meat AND noodles. On the other hand, the broth is undeniably good. Salty and flavorful. But, I love me some beef, so super disappointed in quality and quantity. Maybe I’ll try again with another dish since the reviews keep telling me otherwise.

Since my usual phở spots in the area have become much too crowded, I had decided to try a new spot, which was highly recommended by Unilocal reviewers. I dared to go out of my comfort zone and veered away from my usual Beef Phở this time. Instead, I tried their House Special, Beef Tongue Stew. Tongue?! Who would’ve thought tongue would be so tasty. Can’t wait to try their other dishes. The service was very friendly also, which made my first visit even more special.

Phở in Chula Vista yes there are a few places but this is one the girl will go to… Oh that girl! This little place is always a great go to when something hot and soupy is needed. I spice mine up a lot to get my sinuses cleared. The kids go a little more mild. We love the egg rolls there too. Fresh mint and lettuce to wrap them in is so tasty. The lettuce is one of the only things I can get the boy to eat. The staff here is always helpful and nice. I am a heavy drinker and my water is always being refilled. I am surprised they don’t put a pitcher on my table!
