Sigh. Okay, so my wife craved twin trees, and what she craves, we get. Another disappointment! Same issue with the 2 pizza deal– so instead of 2 pizzas for $ 20 + one topping on one… It’s one cheese and one pepperoni, for $ 29. So the pepperoni you’re adding, is $ 9. Absurd. The clowns over at twin trees can’t wrap their brains around the concept, but $ 9 for a dozen or so pepperoni slices is absurd.
Anyway, wife’s craving dictated we patronize them again, so we did… And sadly, they added way too much cheese to the pizzas. They were way over-​chewy and you couldn’t taste the sauce at all. It’s just sad that all across town the pizza and experience at twin trees locations is consistently good… But the one near us has to be the exception. Done done done.

Today we looked at their menu online and saw the 2 cheese pizza deal for $ 20. I called to order it, and was told I cannot add pepperoni to one of those. Even if I’m paying for it?! Nope. The deal is for 2 pizzas with cheese on them. Absurd. I’m thinking the teenage girl on the other end of the phone didn’t understand that the deal was intended to sell a 2^nd pizza at a discount, not limit a customer’s options! But I told her I’d be calling Paladino’s. She sounded like she didn’t care. If you don’t care about my business, I don’t care about yours. Paladino’s has the same 2 for $ 20 deal and if you want to add pepperoni to one, no problem, you just pay for the topping. Plus Paladino’s is appreciative of my business when I call. Plenty of pizza places around. We spend, on average $ 25 a week on pizza, all year long… And it’s been our friday or saturday night ritual for over a decade. Do the math.

We enjoy a pizza and wings for sure, from Twin Trees Cicero once a month. Everytime we order the pizza is fabulous, the order is hot and the wings are just the way we like them. Loved Twin Trees III on Rt II that delivered also, but this is so convenient and we can eat in if we want to!

So far we have only ordered the pizza, but we have been very satisfied. Very tasty crust, and plenty of cheese and toppings. I would like a little spicier sauce, but that’s just me, my wife really likes it and she is picky when it comes to tomato sauces. Oh, I forgot, last time I also ordered a «small» antipasti salad. It was huge! Full of meat, cheese, roasted peppers, etc. I got two meals out of it alone. And the homemade Italian dressing was exactly the way I like it, with red vinegar and plenty of bite. We have now made this our go-​to pizza place.
