I work in the building that this location is at and often take my lunch I bring from home down there to eat and buy nothing. Today I watched as the staff treated a man, who looked a little rough around the edges and dirty with total disrespect. He was treated as if he was going to steal or do something. The one lady was all upset that this man was trying to «steal» the hot sauce really. it fell onto his lap while he was looking for it. She called security on this man. If you have to be paying customer and be in suit to be treated like a human there then a sign should be posted. This man had brought food with him no different then most people that eat there. This was rude, unnecessary and he did nothing to be treated this way except look dirty and use their hot sauce. Thankfully security did not make this man leave, he kept an eye on him but he was respectful to him.

This is a little deli located in the blue reflective office building on Montgomery Road. The location offers convenience to the office workers and the food is not that bad. They offer a variety of breakfast sandwich items and lunch(including sandwiches, wraps, soups, and other salads). 2⁄5 for the following reasons: The staff is generally very unfriendly. They do not act happy to see you and are oftentimes very short with their answers. They know this is a convenience location and their attitude frequently reflects this aspect. The owner and his wife are both very nice, but the other workers have a pretty bad attitude. The prices recently went up from expensive to even more expensive. When I inquired about the price increase, the staff person first asked if I shop at grocery stores… which I said of course I do… and she then continued on with well prices have gone up and we have not raised prices in 5 years. Perfect example of the type of responses you can expect to receive at this deli. Even before the increase, prices were a bit on the high side. I would not go out of your way to stop at Skip’s.

Skip’s is a little deli/café place located in the big Chase office building in Kenwood, Cincinnati, OH. I hit Skip’s up a few times per month on those days where the extra 15 to 20 minutes of sleep is worth the $ 7 I will now drop on lunch that day at Skip’s, just to sleep in a bit longer. Anyway, for me, Skip’s is convenient. Its on the first floor in the building I work in, so I don’t have to drive anywhere to grab a quick bite to eat. Since I’m bad about working through lunch, I like that it is extremely convenient. Also, the food, while nothing special, its good. They try to come up with some creative different choices each week, like the Taco wrap I just finished devouring. Its probably a buck or two more expensive then I really think it should be, but I digress to the aforementioned«convenience.» As we all know, «convenience» comes with a surcharge, and this is one I don’t mind paying. Rumor has it they make a great Red Hot Turkey Wrap, and that someone who works in the building once ate it for 14 days in a row! So, if you’re in the Chase building in Kenwood, or even close by, grab a sandwich from Skip’s sometime… just tell them JW sent you. ;-)
