I would not attempt to eat here again if my life depended on it! And in reality it seems like that is a possibility. We came here because our favorite greasy spoon was packed and we left shortly after getting our food. Did not pay will not be back. The ketchup in the squirt bottle on the table was fermented this was found out AFTER I took a bite of hash brown with ketchup all over it. I opened the bottle to see that I appeared to have never been cleaned on the inside. Besides this disgusting mess the food was also gross and some things under cooked and some things over cooked. This is a warning to all who think they will take a chance. DONT!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! I had the eggs benedict — overcooked eggs, fatty ham and gloppy sauce. I have had an upset stomach for 2 days

This place is awful. Their food is disgusting and straight out of a can. On top of horrific food the owners are rude and obtrusive. I gave this place 1 star only because 0 is not an option. Would highly recommend driving the extra mile and going to Dennys

The outside of the place is not very enticing but once you get inside it’s better. The décor is okay it’s way better than the outside. The owners are very friendly they seat and wait on you quickly. I’ve had breakfast here a few times never disappointed. I’ve had breakfast specials and always a great price and enough food. Coffee is fresh and good. They are clean but a little outdated. Great for breakfast.

So we came back the next day and the owner served us this time and was totally rude and refused EVERYSINGLETHINGWEASKED. We walked out and couldn’t believe how radically different the customer service was between our original server and the owner. We literally came back the next day! Just shows you how some people will jump over a dollar to save a nickel. Unbelievable, we won’t ever come back.

Intro & Atmosphere — Erica’s Café always had a slightly forlorn look to the outside. Perhaps due to the area, or the simple and low-key signage. Vaguely speaking, I questioned it, on occasion, whether this place was still open for business, and how it might look on the inside, etc. Almost all was left to the imagination from the exterior, due to the tinted windows, and ambiguous décor outside. Regardless, don’t let the outside completely fool you. It’s actually a very cutesy and rather warm setup inside, and I was promptly greeted by a bubbly and energetic waitress whose enthusiasm bordered on frantic(in a charming way). Service — Service had been consistent and kept straddling the line between good and excellent for me. I enjoyed being waited on periodically, and the staff was friendly, though there were brief lapses of wishing I were visited more often throughout the meal. Generally, however, the staff was quite accommodating to a man ordering various bits and pieces of the menu for the sake of sampling. Food — As for the food, I currently only have notes on breakfast items; stay posted for updates. Nonetheless, I started with their pancake and french toast. The pancake was fairly standard, but nothing to complain about. It was fluffy and moist, and it generally met the«good» line for quality and portion/value. The French Toast was phenomenal, to put it simply. The value and portion may be a bit more on the typical side, so no real savings, but it was worth the price — eggy, crisp exterior, fluffy interior, thoughtful presentation and a great flavor altogether. Moving onto savory, I wanted to sample their eggs. I gave 2 each of scrambled and poached-easy a try. Scrambled was enjoyable, and done very properly — salted and peppered lightly, moist, but stable, and with a fluffy rippled mound presentation. Poached was done correctly, not overcooked or wispy and torn up, though that’s my full comment. It was nothing to really write home about, and that’s alright, but their scrambled(and likely fried, too) is where it’s at. All-around experience — If only I could give them about a 4.5, I would. They meet the café/diner standards very well, and plenty of their options offer a delightful Asian twist! That’s what really sticks out about them, beyond the quality of the food being pretty high for a little obscure diner. I was asked my name upon paying my bill, just so they could remember it for next time, and seemed quite genuine when saying they hoped to see me again. I appreciated them, and I could say the feeling seemed mutual. I’ll be updating(hopefully soon) with lunch/dinner content. For now, I’d say it’s not a bad pit-stop for a lazy weekend morning or casual brunch with friends.

This little one room dive style joint serves up traditional diner food without all the frills. My husband and I used to live near nearby, frequent Miss. Sonny and her endearing husband’s establishment regularly and they always remember us! Today was a special day for breakfast as it was my Grammas 90th Birthday and she wanted a «Farmers Breakfast». All of our breakfast choices did not disappoint. Myself and Gramma enjoyed Bacon, country potatoes, toast, eggs and a flap jack on the side(every time). The bacon was cooked crisp, potatoes had a nice brown on them with the addition of grilled onion and peppers, the eggs over medium(on point white cooked, yolk toast ready) and rye came crisp and buttered. The pancake was fluffy with a nice bite to it. The butter was whipped and the syrup warm and thick! I observed others at the table enjoying similar combinations of Breakfast offerings that appeared to be prepared perfectly. Giant omelettes, crispy hash browns, short stacks, chicken fried steak and corned beef hash. I heard no complaints from our party of 9. Tell Sonny(the delightful owner that is always present) Jen and Ricky sent you in for Breakfast… Guarantee she will take care of you!

Awesome diner. I went here because my parents used to take me to Jeremiahs when I was a wee one. Erika and her husband were awesome and kept my coffee full. I got the 222 special and they let me swap and item out no questions asked.

Small little place on greenback that has a great family feel. An older gent runs the place and is amazingly attentive. He kept my coffee cup full and acted like he had known me for years. Food was awesome. I ordered corned beef hash and eggs and was very impressed.

The servers here were warm and attentive. Our breakfast came out fast and our drinks were constantly being refilled. The Happy Pancake was super good and the huevos rancheros plate was bigger than I expected. And the price was right so I’ll be back to try the other items on the menu!

Great food, quick service. Nice mom and pop feel. Only complaint is that my biscuit was dry and tasteless and my rancheros didn’t have the beans that was said they did, but overall food was good and the prices are very reasonable. Will be back.

Went to Erica’s Café and had two eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. This is the best place for bacon. Its thick bacon. No skimping here. I got so full that at lunch I still wasnt hungry. And all this for about $ 8.

First time coming into Erica café. Suprise by all the cute little decorations, seated very promptly and service was pretty good. We were checked on a pretty good amount of times by our waitress.
The water tasted slightly like tap water but personally don’t mind that, but the food was interesting. I got the waffle combo which was absolutely delicious. Bacon was crispy eggs were pretty good and the waffle was to die for. My girlfriend on the other hand had chicken teriyaki(which I told her was a bad idea at a breakfast place) it wasn’t all that great. Would highly recommend breakfast with somthing to drink besides water.

The old, quirky atmosphere is fine… it’s a breakfast place! The food, on the other hand… my girlfriend ordered scrambled eggs and got something that looked like an omelette with a ton of greasy melted cheese on it, plus hash browns that tasted old and frozen. My scrambled eggs looked more like fried eggs that had been chopped up and were very rubbery. Bacon was good, waffle had ok flavor but was soggy. I’ve had worse, but this isn’t good enough to come back…

They serve great water. It’s fresh from the tap. I had the country fried steak with eggs and potatoes. The country fried steak was very tough while the potatoes was underdone. The eggs were as normal. Coffee was terrible. I won’t be back.

A class-act greasy spoon. Clean, tasty and quick. The gravy for the chicken fried steak was homemade and far superior to the usual Sysco fare at this price point($ 6.50); many regulars here including Erica’s husband who is the local«indentured servant.» The surprise(other than the friendliness) is that Erica is Japanese so you have bento boxes and a limited Japanese noodle house menu in addition to eggs, steak and burgers.

Not much to say that’s going to blow anyone’s mind in terms of reviews, but facts are facts… This is a good, all around, breakfast diner. I ordered the chicken fried chicken breakfast(although on the menu its listed as sesame chicken for some reason), and it was crispy still under hot gravy, hash browns were crispy, and eggs were cooked right. My sister enjoyed her pancakes, and my bro-in-law ordered off the asian lunch menu and enjoyed their version of a «bento box.» Liked that the owner is just relaxing watching football news, reading the paper, but taking the time to greet customers and help with drink refills. Again, no frills, but good all around classic diner… good greasy food in a relaxed setting. Wouldn’t mind returning for a quick filling artery clogging breakfast when the urge hits.
