Not the best location by any means, constantly getting drive through orders wrong. Voodoo is better anyways and local.

I Like Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Was super excited when they came to Portland. I just wish you guys would have more freshly made doughnuts often. When I think about Krispy Kreme doughnuts, I think about warm, melts in your mouth type of sweets. Overall, Great location and good customer service.

Who doesnt love Krispy Kreme? My love for it is even more profound now because of this location. I came in today for a dozen original to use for a haloween party. I was going to make them into little vampires and mentioned that to the gentleman who helped us. He went above and beyond! He offered to put little sugar monster eyes on them while we waited. It saved us so much time and was so thoughtful. The recipe said his name was Steve and he may have been a manager there. Regardless, this place is awesome.

Clackamas by night! And not just any night, but the night of National Doughnut Day about 2 months ago in June. I went with some Californians who were visiting and who’d never set foot in Clackamas County yet knew downtown Portland fairly well. I told them how residents of Portland itself like to trash Clackamas County for not being diverse. Well, at 11 pm, there was a very diverse assortment of people — whites, blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and even some ladies whose religion requires that they cover their heads who were bringing in their youngsters for a late night snack on this freebie day. The Californians commented that the crowd«doesn’t look much different than what you’d see in Southern California.» That sounds diverse to me. I can get off that soapbox now … but I could also get onto another one … but I won’t. As for the donuts, they had this Southern theme or promotion going on. A few of the donuts were filled with fruit, such as peaches and whatnot. I ordered one of those. The two other people with me ordered more traditional donuts. Their donuts are fine. What more can I say? They are decent tasting. It’s the fact that the donuts look like they swam through an oil slick that I personally can’t get over. It seems that, more or less, I only end up here on National Doughnut Day.

Was super stoked when they came to Portland… but now it’s not tolerable. Donuts are priced too high for the size and taste. Their basis glaze donut is soft and taste like it’s been dipped in sugar. It melts in your mouth better than M&M’s and that’s not what I expect in s donut. Eat enough of these and you’re on yo way sugar diabetes!

Good tasting donuts, but what’s the point of an up charge if you’re just going to mix in the cheap ones?

Are the donuts good? Yes. I bought a dozen jelly filled, 8 raspberry and 4 lemon. For a dollar apiece I would have expected them to not be as skimpy on the amount of jelly filling. This is why they don’t get five stars from me. Service was quick but the young man muttered something about getting something for another five and I just automatically said no didn’t really even understand what the heck he said. Why do places like this always have to try to upsell you?

Once you’ve had voodoo doughnuts, no other place really compares. I bumped this place up from a 3 to a 4 because they had Ghostbusters themed doughnuts, but they were just OK tasting. The only kind I’ve ever liked here are the original glazed. Other than that, this place is clean and service is friendly, especially considering the part of town it’s in.

Hot fresh donuts. Can’t be upset there! Not any more pricyer than voodoo. Best is when they are right out of the fryer! Nothing beats a melt in your mouth donut! But its a chain and they are all the same! This one is clean and nice staff.

Can’t go wrong with free donuts for National Donut Day! They had lots of people working to keep the line moving. I have never seen so any minivans in one place(other than a school).

Great donut place, but the choices in donuts are limited. Still, all in all, hits the spot when craving something fresh and sweet. Love that I don’t have to run inside and can just drive up.

It’s Krispy Kreme’s need anyone say more??? They are every fat kids dream… which is why it’s important to only eat here every once in a GREAT while… lol I like the chocolate cake donut that USED to look like a hostess cupcake, but I am assuming they got in trouble and now it looks different, but it is absolutely delicious. Everything else is very sugary tasting… the cupcake ish one taste more like cake so its a littl easier to handle, but hey it’s Krispy Kreme’s…you didn’t go there for a carrott.

Really hit and miss on staff and product. They’re a little over priced in my opinion for the end product size, but I enjoy one on the rare occasion I have a major sweet tooth. I have picked up doughnuts for Sunday morning treat after church for kids and had them be so dense you could hardly chew them, other times they’re great, light and fluffy. Sometime they’re super bland with no flavor(one could argue the only flavor is sugary/chocolatey). Chocolate icing not tasting like anything. Over all disappointing. I have had my order completely botched and had to call and complain, being told they would replace it at my next visit taking down my info, only to have them have«no record of the conversation». Mind you it was the managed who I spoke to when I called so it is not a surprise then that the general staff messes orders up. Yes they’re super sugary sweet but you should know that walking in, haha!

Ew. Just, ew. These are, by far, the nastiest, most disgusting, overly sweet doughnuts in the western hemisphere. These make diabetics take double-shots of insulin and they still go into hyperbolic shock. These are the worst national chain doughnuts in the country, and this location is no different. Gag me three ways to Thursday. Save your money and go to one of the many, far superior doughnut shops in Portland. These aren’t worth the hole at their center.

Probably the greatest public relations over-hype campaign in my lifetime. And I’m old! Remember when these guys opened up and they needed police support to direct the traffic jams! Now a lot of their stores in Oregon and Washington have closed. Okay, what food doesn’t taste good when it is hot and fresh? And if you can get people to pay $ 4 for a cupcake and $ 2.50 for a doughnut and more, at some other places, why didn’t I learn to bake?

I stopped here for my boys because they wanted some Krispy Kreme doughnuts! It’s been years since we have had them. I sat and had the original with some milk and was sadly disappointed in the taste. It sure doesn’t taste like it used to. I can’t say I would chose to eat these again. We really used to like them. Off to your Portland competitor my friends!

I didn’t go to KK for the longest time. I couldn’t figure out why people were so crazy for what i thought was«just another doughnut shop». I couldn’t have been more wrong. My first visit to KK(this was years ago) was the hook being set. While waiting in line. Am employee asked me if i would like a fresh Glazed Doughnut while i wait my turn. I said, what did you say? My mind couldn’t grasp it, a free doughnut? I still remember that first bite and to this day, i still get that same sensation. Sweet. Tender like a cloud. Just the right amount of glaze. Not greasy nor does it taste like a fryer. I have a KK rule… Never buy one dozen! Always buy two dozen! Why? Because the first dozen gets eatin on the way home.
