Healthy great prices. I came here a few months back with my brother since I’m trying to get him into healthy eats. We both ordered the regular chicken falafel. l, the tzatziki sauce was on point. Everything seemed nice and fresh, the owner was there giving us plenty of helpful info. I will definitely be back when Im in the east coast again!

I’m such a huge fan of pita pit from my college days. Think of this as a subway with less bread wrapped around your veggie/protein goodness! My favorite items on the menu are the gyros and the falafels. Their spread, dressing and veggies selections are through the charts with how many different things you can put on your wrap. Be sure to try the habanero mango sauce(it’s actually more sweet than it is spicy) and the secret sauce. Both are some of my favorites!

I had the rib souvlaki and the buffalo souvlaki. I think the buffalo was better. The rib had a lot of fat in it and the beef was really hard to chew. I also think the two were kind of dry(some ranch or kind of sauce to dip everything in) would have made the meal better. The pita was neatly wrapped up for me which is a good thing. But I think I might not even like pitas that much.

This place is very good given the price and how much stuff they put in the actual pita. They usually fill it to the brim and are like subway, but even with more freshness and ingredients. I usually get the chicken pita with chipotle and a whole bunch of ingredients like hummus, chiles, artichoke, mushrooms, bellpepper, feta cheese, onions, romaine lettuce, and olives. There’s plenty of options and I thought that the people working there are very professional and friendly. The only thing that doesn’t make this place five stars is that there are no napkins anywhere and they don’t have a plate or anything to eat the wrap on when all the juices start spilling. Otherwise this place is cheap, well located, and is very delicious. I would definitely go here again whenever I’m in the area.

Lovely place for a quick bite to eat! I’m a fan of their falafel salads, with all the veggie fixins. The employees are super chill people and they’ve always got new ideas. But being vegan I stick to my veggie options. Worth the short trip near the train tracks.

Pretty sad day here at the Pita Pit. I came here for lunch and it took a little over 30 min to get a Pita. A lot of things wrong today, I will just list them in a list format as it is easier. *Very slow service *staff not wearing hair restraints *beads of sweat dropping into the food from one of the workers *Staff not wearing aprons *staff not washing hands *going from ready to eat to not ready to eat without changing gloves *Not answering the phone(someone who tried calling will never receive their pita) *lettuce had gritty taste, like it had dirt on it or just not washed *prep table was poorly stocked *not properly staging grill items for pitas. Having to wait for grill item on top of all ready waiting in line for pita *$ 10 for a pita, chips and a drink seems like a lot. If I was a health inspector, this place would have mostly likely receive a «C», but because I am a customer, it received a 1 star.

My wife, daughter and I came here on Saturday afternoon. Great service, wonderful recommendations, And even better food! You can also get a free cookie if you check in. My wife particularly likes the pita bowl option as she cannot have any wheat or gluten related products. Me on the other hand… Load me up with gluten as I love those pita pockets. You want something healthy and not crazy expensive, This is the place for you.

Om nom nom. It’s like a Subway for Pita sandwiches. I think that’s the best way to describe it. Prices are definitely fair and their selection of sauces(i.e. hummus, tzatziki, etc…) totally spit all over Subway’s selection. If you’re looking toward eating something healthy, I would go here! I’ve been slowly making the transition toward vegetarianism, but I don’t want my boyfriend to suffer because he still eats meat so this place is PERF! I did come once and this lady was yelling ‘hello’ for what felt like 15 – 20 minutes because the employees were in the back and couldn’t help but burst into silent laughter. They’ll come out eventually, just be patient(:

I saw a Unilocal deal here, and my girlfriend and I were looking for something yummy before going on a hike at Horsethief Canyon in San Dimas. Anyways, I was concerned that the prices would be high, being that this establishment is in Claremont, and the Unilocal deal was $ 15 for $ 10. The Unilocal deal actually covered both of us, and we had a little money left over for a drink. Food quality — The quality of the food is pretty good, although I personally prefer Extreme Pita in Riverside. They both have the same basic concept, however. Think of this place as Subway with pitas, only this place doesn’t charge you for every extra ingredient, and isn’t stingy with olives or tomatoes like they’re an endangered species. Service — The guy who helped us might have had a long/bad day, because he didn’t seem like he really wanted to be here. There could’ve been more of an upbeat vibe. And no, I’m not talking about the«Welcome to Subway» greeting you here, where you can totally tell through voice inflections that employees have no desire to be there, but at least sincerely ask«How are you today» or something. Anyways, customer service needs a little coaching. This is the primary reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I won the lottery!!! Okay JK. I went happened to want to try Pita Pit on DOUBLEMEATWEDNESDAYS!!! Cha-CHING! Walked in and told the employee that this was my first step. He was very enthusiastic about teaching me how everything works and explaining the different meats along with his recommendations. Chicken Souvlaki($ 6.59) This is dark meat chicken with Mediterranean spices. I obviously doubled my meat(for $ 0.99 Double meat Wednesdays($ 0.99 instead of $ 1.99).(Side question — does anyone NOT do Double Meat Wednesdays?! and if so, WHYNOT!?) So after you choose your meat and what type of pita(white/wheat), it’s like Chipotle/Subway where you choose what type of ingredients you want in your pita. UNLIKE Chipotle and Subway, they don’t charge you extra if you want avocado(too bad I don’t like avocado, but I know a bunch of you people do!) If there was one by my house, I’d probably eat there 5x a week. For those of you in Claremont, consider yourself lucky!

I came in again today with the same friend, only this time I was a vegetarian. As a challenge issued from a friend, I gave up meat. It was supposed to be only for a month but we’re at the month and a half mark and I’m still not eating meat. Guess I’m a vegetarian. Pita Pit didn’t disappoint!!! I got the falafel wrap with tons of veggies and avocado and hummus acting as mayo. I love that I was able to put jalapeños and banana peppers in my pita along with olives, red bell pepper, and feta. The pita was delicious and filling. I had an iced tea and chips with my lunch and probably could have and should have gone without, but I didn’t mind considering I didn’t break the $ 10 mark. I’m happy and satisfied like last time :)

Whenever I come here I get the same thing, a turkey pita. It fills me up and can be enough for two meals! They have a ton of veggies for you to pick from so it can be made how you like it. The owner is great and she is very personable whilst getting your order to you quickly. Very good food. I recommend it to anyone and everyone! :)

This place is the business. It was described to me as «like Subway, but for pitas» when in reality they offered more toppings, better quality, better service, better everything. You order your base sandwich and can then make is as healthy, unhealthy, vegetarian, or anything as much as you like. The sauces are anything you can imagine, from buffalo to avocado spread to hummus to tzatziki. And you can get the breakfast/egg sandwiches ALLDAY long! I was amazed at how many different ingredients I could request and how well the server could roll everything up without a pita explosion. At around $ 6 or $ 7 a pop, we each got huge sandwiches, mine which lasted for 2 days. For a chain and chain-like atmosphere, the food quality is pretty impressive. Love this place!

Get extra hummus. Everyone here is super nice and the food is very fresh. I eat here regularly when I’m following a strict diet during training. Try the Tzatziki sauce on it too…

I was very excited to find a nonchain, non-fast food place to grab lunch before a meeting. Sadly, the Pita Pit is no better than any chain fast food place. It’s basically a subway with pitas. The food is all mass produced, chemical laden, pre-packaged stuff. I ordered the falafal, but realized that it was frozen and not a real falafal when I saw the nutritional information that was posted. Kudos to the super nice owner for posting that. I was able to change my order to a garden, but if I wanted just some lettuce, I would have gone somewhere else. If you’re cool with food-like substances in a fast food setting, this is a great place for you. If you want real, unprocessed food, keep looking. I do want to emphasize that the owner truly is very nice and seems like she truly wants to know what she’s serving. She even gave me a card for a free pita when I changed my order, which I gave away since I don’t plan on being back in the area(if I can help it).

This is my go to place for when I need to get a quick lunch to go and bring it back to the office. A much nicer option that going to a Subway or Quizno’s and it’s still pretty cheap. When you’re ordering, it’s almost like at a Subway or Chipotle where you order the type of Pita you want and then add the toppings as they make it. The reason why I keep going back is because they don’t skimp on the meat, they are quick, and the service is very friendly. As far as the taste of the pitas, the meat is never really dry and I like the seasoning they use. They offer a nice array of veggies and will even grill your onions or mushrooms for you. The food itself is probably around three stars(decent but not out of this world) but they’re always very friendly and get your order ready fast. A great option for someone in a rush.

WOW! I’ve come here a few times and it just gets better! The last time I went, the regional manager was making the sandwiches and they were just great. He was really friendly and was explaining all about the chain. The sandwiches are made to order. There is a preset recipe but you can change it as much as you like. And the great thing is that they are all the same price. The prices is very reasonable, about $ 7 for a sandwich. Definitely better than anything you can find at subway and much more healthy. I recommend the pastrami melt.

Delicious, healthy alternatives — in a pita form! I LOVEPITAPIT. Enough said. They offer great vegetarian options, so I am always a fan. I also love how fresh all the ingredients are along with the quality of the finished product. When I was in the last time, our food was taking longer then expected, so the manager gave us free drinks. He also made good recommendations for ingredients to go inside the pita. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have been to this location several times. I wish they had more seating for larger groups, but overall, the food makes any other issues seem like nothing. If you go try the vegetarian pitas or the black bean pita. Delicious!
