Jimmy John’s

Tried this place for lunch today. Overall a good sandwich shop! It was pretty busy today.

I absolutely hate this Jimmy John’s location. They claim the bread is baked fresh daily, well if it is, they are eating it themselves because when I visited it was stale as hell.
It’s also awkward eating here because the employees were all zoned out when they should have been working on making that fresh effin’ bread they are advertising. The saying «it’s 420 somewhere» … yeah, I think I found where that somewhere is. I’ll stick with the NASA location. Next.

I love Jimmy Johns as I had them when we lived in Illinois. I love the Beach Club, although I hate they no longer carry the sprouts but I understand this huge health scare ! I have only visited this location maybe twice but my hubby goes to pick up for us here more often ! The only issue I’ve had was to have him ask for extra avocado spread as the last time I could not even taste it. Tonight he went for pick up for 3 of us and all of our orders were correct, on their freshly baked bread and full of yumminess ! So, my only negative is to make sure they actually add enough Avocado spread as this really makes this sandwich, and of course, I would prefer sprouts on mine again ! Please JJ!!!

Super fast and super hard bread. What a let down. I was a carry out order but if I was there I would have asked for a refund. I think they gave me day old bread.

I ordered from Jimmy John’s on Bay Area Blvd in Houston, TX, at 5:45pm, October 23, 2015, was told that our food would be delivered within 30min. I called back to check on my order at 6:43pm and was told it would be delivered momentarily. I received my delivery at 7:10pm. Our sandwiches were not worth the wait nor were the Jimmy’s chips (which we did not even finish). I will not order from any Jimmy John’s again.
The employees and the driver were pleasant and at least after my call back, they tried to keep me updated. And, regardless of this experience, I will still support Kevin Harvick. Perhaps he should be the delivery driver.

I really like Jimmy Johns and normally you can’t beat how quick you get your food delivered. A few weeks ago I ordered from this location and it took an hour before I got what was ordered. My husband and I opted to try it out again today from the same location. and wow have they showed me that I made the wrong decision. Here it is now 2 hours later and still no food. As soon as I ordered I got a confirmation email stating it would take 30 minutes, which btw I was already aggravated about. I called up to the store after an hour to see what the hold up was, only to be informed that they are a little behind and my order wasnt even out for delivery yet. Sitting here now for 2 hours wondering if it’s ever going to show up. I should have just driven up to the restaurant myself but why do that when Jimmy John’s is known for not only delivering food, but delivering food «freaky fast». Now I know better for next time… except there will not be a next time! Never ever again Jimmy John’s!

We have given this location multiple chances. The first strike was a few months ago when the driver just didn’t show up. We waited for hours. No phone call. We never got our food and they charged our card.
So tonight we decided we wanted to try again, it’s been awhile they should have improved. NOPE. They at least showed up this time. I ordered an unwhich as usual and the lettuce was old & brown. You couldn’t eat it. I’m not talking a little brown that could have been over looked, I’m talking brown everywhere. First thing I saw when I opened my meal.
I ate the insides but this will be the last time we order from Jimmy Johns. Which is to bad because we do love the food.
Thanks Bay Area Jimmy Johns, you suck! :-)

I tried to order from this location but they say they don’t deliver to my location and I am less than 2 miles away. They said the delivery route does not go past El Dorado Blvd and I am literally one light past that.

The unwich is awesome if you are watching your waist line, bun the gargantuan is awesome, but today I got the ultimate porker! Mmmmmmmmm good.

I love jimmy johns subs but after going to this location I doubt I will ever eat jimmy johns again. The staff they had working tonight were completely unprofessional and were too busy playing around to get my order correct. I asked for no mayo, no tomatoes, add avocado, a pickle and cut in half. Out of the three I only got no tomatoes. Had to walk back for my pickle. The avocado was almost nonexistent. The sandwich was disgusting. I hardly ever write reviews but I was so disappointed I had to warn people because I honestly wish I was warned.

Ordered a sandwich and it was at my job. .. FAST! The deliverer was courteous. Would definitely order from them again.

Let me just start by saying I LOVE JIMMY JOHN’S! I come from the land of Jimmy John’s, where the stores first started and I have grown up eating their sandwiches. Their french bread (baked in the store each day) is so yummy, and you can’t really go wrong with anything you order on it. (I don’t like the wheat bread they have, but I know others who always order it). All of their meat is sliced fresh in the store, unlike other sandwich chains I have been to. They also have wonderfully delicious Jimmy Chips in a variety of delectable flavors.
Ok, so that said, this store is a pretty typical Jimmy John’s. You will be greeted by 2 – 3 sandwich-​makers with smiling faces and they will stare at you until you decide what to order. Once you order, you will receive your sandwich in a «freaky fast» amount of time. Then you will be free to decide whether you want to take your food home or eat it in the store. Either way, you will be happy. They also deliver, although I’m not sure how far-​reaching their delivery service goes.
The only thing that I didn’t like about this store was that I found it difficult to get in and out of the crowded parking lot. It involved a couple quick u-​turns on Bay Area. Now, if you, like me, are from a land where u-​turns are illegal, then you may feel overwhelmed with this. But if you are an experienced Clear Lake driver, this will be no problem.

Same great sandwiches you can expect from any other JJs, this just happens to be my location of choice since its close to my work. The staff cracks me up every time I’m in there. I LOVE YOU TOO!
Only possible downside is that I wish Bay Area traffic was nicer to this location. The roadways make it a little funky to get to coming from 45 like I do.

Got the JJ, no mayo, (yuck) and it was really good. Delivery was fast but expensive. Just the Sammie was $ 8.50.

I grew up with Jimmy Johns Sandwiches up north in Illinois. When I saw it opening up here in Nassau Bay right down the street from my house I was ecstatic! I have lunch at this location about 3 or 4 times a month. The staff is fantastic they are always so energetic and friendly.

Couldn’t ask for more while staying with my mom at St. John’s Hospital in Nassau Bay. May I suggest the Turkey Tom?

If you are looking for a quick sam this place will do. The staff is freindly but tend to take artistic license with their menu. So be specific about what you would like on your sandwich or you may be in for a surprise.

So I went to check out Jimmy John’s finally and I liked it. Super friendly staff as you enter and leave greet you. It is your basic sub place. Not a ton of toppings but the sandwiches are a good price and they give you 8 inches. Most places only give you 6 inches. Really who does not prefer 8 inches anyway. I thought they offered a nice variety of sandwiches but they only sell their own brand of chips which are pretty good. Overall a good value basic sub. Hard to beat for lunch

Yummy. Not as «healthy» as certain other chain’s subs, but makes up for lack of healthfulness, with deliciousness, and speed. These are the fastest subs you can get. I mean by the time you order, your card is swiped, and your cup filled with tasty beverage, they are waiting on you. I’ve made it a personal goal of mine to try and outrun these guys, by performing the previously mentioned events, before they can have my sub ready, and I’ve come close (during rush), but they still beat me. I’ve been told that their delivery service is quite fast, as well.
The sandwiches are extremely satisfying, and taste super duper swell. I’ve had several of the sandwiches on the menu, and have yet to be disappointed. I will report back after I try Jimmy’s gargantuan sandwich, and let you know how it is. It looks pretty big, but totally do-​able. Give ‘em a try.
