I have driven past this place for years because it doesn’t look like much from the outside, and I generally don’t eat lots of donuts. However, a friend of mine recommended it to me because he said they have good breakfast sandwiches, so I gave them a try. My friend was wrong — they don’t have«good» breakfast sandwiches — they have GREAT breakfast sandwiches! Plus, while I was waiting for them to make the sandwich, I decided to try one of their donuts and was immediately hooked. And did I mention, their prices are better than the big donut chains

Pretty sure I got diabeetus from this meal alone but you know what you’re getting when you walk into a shop with at least 100 feet of shelving that contains donuts. Hamburgers are Krystal style. Tiny little buggers full of flavor. You can can order the Special Meal for less than 5 bucks and that gets you three cheeseburgers, fries, a drink, and a spectacular donut. Or you can try and not indulge in the copious amounts of fat and sugar by ordering just a burger for 79¢ and a donut for around 18¢. You can also get po boys, jambalaya, and red beans and rice. They’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so go ahead and don’t ashamed to head here when you’re led by your less than sober self(with a designated driver of course) and use their drive thru. To top it all off, I’m pretty sure this is the best donut I’ve ever had. Soft, sweet, but still has substance.

It’s the donut shop you would open if you were a diabetic with suicidal tendencies and an addiction to sliders and donuts
