Simply Food

Nice little grocery store in the downtown area. Expect to get more of the non-​perishables/​packaged things here as compared to fruits and veggies. Is also primarily an Indian grocery store, so they carry a bevy of Indian origin foods and spices etc.

A pretty decent store with a wide variety of stuff. It is in the Reserve Square apartment building so they cater to the residents. It is basically a mini grocery store. I don’t think the name «Simply Food» does it too much justice because food is just the tip of the iceberg. It should be called, well, whatever the antonym of simply is and then maybe the word «Stuff». The internet says the antonym is «Elaborately» so that should be the name if you ask me. «Elaborately Stuff». The store is owned by the same family as Ross Deli in Lakewood, so they know what craft beers sell well and keep a good inventory. They also have a limited wine selection with prices that are not too steep. I come here on breaks from work, at least once a day. The produce section is small but accommodating. I can usually get about 4 small bananas or 3 decent sized ones for around 80 cents. Yogurt is kind of expensive, but I am eating a lot of carrots, yogurt and bananas now because this store sells it, it is cheap and healthy! I like going here except for the one punk kid who is a cashier. He has consistently been a jerk for the past 180 days or so and would like him to get fired. Everyone else who works there is really nice.
