Great pizza and chicken wings! Service is friendly, welcoming! We loved it, had a great experience here :)

I’ve had dollar slices better tasting then this in NYC. Lunchables pizza may even be better. Went in on a sunday at 1pm. The slices all looked like they had been reheated multiple times or had been at least sitting out for a while. The only plus was the large size of the slice. Buffalo chicken slice had hardly any chicken on it.

Pizza quality: good, but nothing outstanding. Staff: nice, but all charge you different prices. Why I am giving it 1 star? Because their prices are so outrageous I really think it’s possible there is some insanity happening here. Is there gold in this pizza? Oil? Diamonds? I am not tasting any… Do they think they are in NYC? No wait, NYC has cheaper AND better pizza. One slice. FOURDOLLARS. Yea, I get that the slice is big, but ONE slice of pizza and a bottle of water shouldn’t cost me over 6 bucks. Utterly ridiculous! And it is incredibly frustrating that they charge you differently depending on who is ringing you up. There is a pizza place across the street, Closter Brick Oven. Nothing great either, also overpriced, but not as bad as this place. There are so many pizza places in the area, AVOID this one.

Something’s changed! They said it was the cheese. Whatever it is, Ray’s pizza is not the same. I was very disappointed in the slice! There was hardly any taste in the bread. I think the original cooks need to reeducate the makers of the pizza. Perhaps they are missing an ingredient. I say this only to improve their pizza. I am regular of Ray’s and would hate to see this establishment go under because they changed their formula. Please go back to the original!

I believe that this place makes one of the best pizza’s. I have been coming here for more than twenty years, and they have not changed. Their baked ziti pie is my favorite.

I am reading the reviews and laughing. I had to double check the address to see if it was the same place I had been to, four stars for this place !!! You cannot be serious. Pizza here is flat out terrible. Place looks dumpy, and way out of date. The slice pie looks like it has been sitting a week.

All i gotta say is to double check the prices on the menu and get your calculator out and add it dollar to dollar and cent to cent and add 7% tax. Prices on the menu is incorrect. Make sure you confirm the total before the delivery. And yes, just like the person below says the owner is very rude.

Great pizza and big slices. The only problem I have is that it’s a little pricey.

Standard Italian-American food. Good as an easy pickup for dinner. Nothing too amazing. Very consistent, friendly people. There are better places for pizza in Closter.

This is where we get pizza. There is never a discussion about getting it anywhere else. Each time we order, either my husband or I, with a mouthful of pizza says to the other«they make really good pizza.»

This is the best pizza in Northern Bergen County. Nice BIG slices in house, crispy crust, sauce and cheese just as they should be NY style. If ordering delivery(which is usually within 25−40mins) — make sure you say crispy crust — it can arrive to your door too moist otherwise, and thus hard to eat. The margherita pizza is excellent as well as the peppers and onions, meatball, pepperoni, and sausage. But don’t just try the pizza — the entrees are delicious too! Family favorites in our house are Penne A la Vodka and the Spaghetti w/White Clam Sauce. You will be surprised how good it is — better than some«classy» restaurants that will charge you double for the same. It’s a shame some people are scared away from this place because of its location or «look.» Sure it needs updating, but you’re not eating the décor!

Total ripoff pizza I bought 4 slices and two drinks and it was almost $ 24 and its subpar — go to TPR in Tenafly or Cresskill Pizza far superior and reasonable priced.

The slices are huge, they have a wide variety of toppings. It fills your appetite and is not expensive. I would recommend Ray’s to a ton of people!!!

Magarita pizza is the best.. and the rest of pizza… I don’t know. Shrimp scampi is good… Compare to other pizza places in closter, their margarita pizza is the best.
