Amazing food and staff! It reminds me of Cheers! I walk in and everyone knows my name and usually my order!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! My fiancé and I had just landed and gone through a hellish time at the airport when we found The House of JuJu. We walked in 15 minutes til close and they welcomed us right in without hesitation. We order a couple local beers, chatted with the gentleman who runs the place and took his recommendation about burgers! We are from Texas and have had our fair share of burgers, but these topped them all! Wonderfully juicy burgers combined with excellent service made this an experience for the books. Whether you’re a local, or just passing through, you should ABSOLUTELY stop here!

Love this little restaurant in the heart of old town! Nice ambiance, yummy drinks, cozy patio. I like the Athena salad in the wrap and I also really liked the potatoes that were on the side of Daniel’s burger. He rated his bison burger a «8» on a scale of 1 to 10.

By far the best burgers in town, small hidden restaurant in the heart of old town Clovis. Be prepared for a wait because the burgers are fantastic. Leave them your phone number and walk old town for 20 minutes while you wait for your table and they’ll call you upon the table being ready. Did I mention the burgers are out of this world fantastic??! This is enough said, hurry now and go get yourself one!

Had to check this place out after hearing so many raving reviews from friends. House of JuJu is amazing! Started off with the delicious loaded potatoes and a plethora of tasty dipping sauces. The Leticia burger was so good. So many layers of yumminess, savory with just the right hint of spice! The beef was tender and melt in your mouth. The teriyaki slaw on for the side was a little too sweet for me but our waiter(owner’s son!) recommended adding the chipotle dip to balance out the sweetness. That was a perfect addition to the slaw. We were so full but ordered a homemade slice of cookie dough cheesecake to go. It too was beyond amazing. I am now craving House of JuJu whenever I want a burger! I have to taste all the burgers, right? ;)

I am always on the look for new local restaurants to try. One day while out we stopped in to give House of Juju a shot. The burgers are amazing. 3 of us ate and we each order a different burger and shared. The only down was they only offer pan fried potatoes. No French fries which a picky 5 year old wasn’t happy with. Service was great and fast. Definitely will go again.

They have a good selection of local draft beers, the hamburgers are great. If you’re looking for beer and an burger, this is the place in Clovis to go.

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the ambiance is nice! I only rated a 4 star because its a bit pricey for the portions. My husband and I enjoyed the food though, very delicious!

Start off with 5 star burgers. We got the dragon lady, and calamity burgers. Both excellent. But, for us a burger’s best side is french fries, which is the main reason we had to knock 1 star. We would knock only half a star if we could. Having said that the roasted potatoes were tasty, especially paired with the sauces. We chose the chipotle, and garlic aioli. The service was great, they had no problem handling our group of 10+ people with a great attitude. And, they also made special accommodations for our celebration of a graduation even though they don’t normally take reservations. Also, for those interested, their corking fee is $ 6, which is not bad at all.

This place has always been one of my favorite hidden gems in Clovis, I have never had bad service and my order was always perfect… Until today. I ordered my usual, burger salad sauce on side, but we didn’t specify how we would like our burgers cooked and was not asked. So about 5 min later we realized we didn’t let our server Brionna know, so I went to the bar and asked her how they were being prepared. She told me well done, I said oh no, we want them at least medium and she said well they are almost done and the menu states burgers are well done unless noted by customer, I told her we would not like them well done and she said well they are plating them now. So we received our dried out burgers and ate them anyway, I then noticed side dressing did not come with my salad. I asked Brionna for the sauce and she said, «it should have come on the side did it not, no you didn’t bring it out. Oh ok, the spicy garlic I’ll bring it right out.» So she did, but she brought the chipotle instead. Although I love the food combinations and food normally, this experience was more than stellar. Not too happy with a dry burger, no burger place should cook burgers well done as a standard. No normal beef loving human eats anything well done

I have been wanting to try this place based on Unilocal reviews during one of my visit and finally did. I got the chicken sandwich with the feta cheese and baked potatoes with the olive dip. I was trying to decide between the salad, wrap, or sandwich. The server mentioned they were known for their burgers, so I went for the sandwich and the buns was really good. Enjoyed everything and will return. Recommend you go early, because they do cater to a lunch crowd. It feels good to support local non-franchise businesses that serves quality food.

Tonight was my second time here. I tried it out 6 months ago or so and always wanted to come back but never have. First time I came I ordered the sliders so I could try a few burgers. They were all excellent but keep in mind sliders come with limited toppings. This time I ordered the juju Bleu with a side salad and a glass of mango sangria. Sangria is excellent! I love a burger on a brioche bun so I’m a suckered for that, but the burger itself is also juicy and flavorful. Love the toppings, try the dragon lady and/or the Leticia. Juju Bleu is also great I ordered it bc I was just craving Bleu cheese. On another note their waitresses are really cute and very nice!

Walked in and was met by a personable hostess(Savannah), place was full so we had a short wait before being seated. Cliental is a very nice looking group, the place looks and feels very clean. Once seated, our server(Bri) quickly acknowledged us with a smile and truly made us feel welcomed. I went with the Calamity Jane(Angus beef), my wife selected the same but with the Turkey. We shared with the server it was our first visit and that I heard the chile was good. She said it is… and recommends it. The burger, chili was very good, and the portion filled me up. No complaints from my wife’s meal too. Good food wonderful friendly service and a cool location. I say give it a try… we will be back. Thank you Savannah and Bri for an enjoyable evening.

Was in town for one night, and a friend recommended this place. We sat at the bar and were greeted by friendly servers. I got the Calamity Jane burger bowl, which was a cheeseburger patty with sauteed mushrooms and onions and bbq sauce served on a bed of mixed greens. I got a side of chili, which was super tasty and a little spicy. Others in my party got the burger with the roasted JuJu potatoes and a variety of sliders. Overall, everything was pretty good, but we did find it strange that they didn’t ask how we wanted our burgers cooked. They all came out medium well which is fine, but we prefer our meat a little pinker.

I can say with absolute certainty that these are the best burgers that I have ever in Fresno. Admittedly, I am not a huge burger person… so I have not sought out all of the burger places in Fresno, however these burgers are so delicious that I have developed a hankering for them. The winners for me in regards to the burgers have to be the JuJu Bleu, Calamity Jane(w/out mushrooms) and the Leticia. The JuJu Bleu has a layer of bleu cheese dressing with crumbled bleu cheese on top and then it is dressed with bacon and sweet grilled onions. I could seriously sit and eat a bowl of the onions. The Calamity is a western style burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, grilled onions as well as grilled mushrooms(bleh). If you want something with a little kick, try the Leticia that has pepper jack cheese, an Ortega chile and avocado. The burgers, regardless of the style you order, are perfectly seasoned, cooked and portioned. Half of these burgers are enough to fill me up, and they still taste good as an at home snack(leftovers). As I said above, I really enjoy their grilled onions… they are so sweet and tender. The bleu cheese tastes wonderful, and you can tell they use quality bleu cheese. Their buns also make the burger, the burgers are all served on grilled brioche. It is worth noting that they will make any burger on their menu into a salad for those looking to cut out carbs, but where’s the fun in that??? lol Another thing about this place that I love is their little roasted potatoes. I don’t know what they season them with, but they are heavenly and they are served with your choice of dipping sauce. I have also sampled one of their homemade desserts, the peanut butter chocolate cake. The cake was moist and had that yummy peanut butter flavor. The cake was 3 layers and in between 2 of them was a layer of peanut butter cream. The desserts rotate daily I was told. Service for the most part has been good, no real complaints. Some servers are warmer than others, but none have been rude and they have all been efficient. Space is limited, and may become a wait issue on busier nights or during lunch hours. I cannot wait to go back and try other things on their menu, such as the Bleu Cheese wedge for which I have seen many pics posted of. I highly recommend this place to burger lovers, and even those like me that aren’t really burger fans, this place will make you fall in love with them. Even with the high price tag, burgers start around $ 10.95, you get a lot of bang for your buck. If during your visit you need to use the restroom, you will need to grab one of the keys hanging at the front door of JuJu’s and go across directly across the hall.

Now that I’ve tried everything on the menu and can call myself the official duchess of House of Juju, I feel adequately prepared to write a review for this place. I’ve never encountered bad customer service here, they will ask if you want separate checks, and the checks have suggested tips and totals at the bottom. There may be a wait, but it’s beyond worth it. First of all, I’m an enigma. Every time I go to a restaurant, I seek out the things on the menu that the location is not known for. This isn’t purposeful, I just tend to have very specific tastes. Here, the Juju Wedge stuck out to me. This is your standard wedge salad(think half of head of iceberg cut in half and set on your plate) with bleu cheese dressing, bleu cheese crumbles, tomato, onion, and bacon bits. If you’d like, you can opt to get a protein on it, but I never do. While it sounds like a standard wedge salad, the Juju Wedge is easily the best in Fresno, coming from somebody who’s tried at least 5 other wedge salads in this town. The size, price, and quality are unmatchable, and I order it every time. My second favorite menu item is awarded to the Chili Dog. Yes, that’s right, at the burger house, I opt to get a hot dog, and I’m not particularly keen on hot dogs. However, this place seems to reinvent things I’ve never sought out or particularly liked in the past and take them to the spot of some of my favorite foods. This hot dog is loaded — you will need a fork and knife to eat it. You can opt to get cheese and and onions on it — please do. Biting into this is like a little taste of heaven, if heaven’s located in Coney Island and smells like a backyard barbecue. To give you an idea of how highly I regard House of Juju, I spent a week in the hospital at the beginning of the year unable to eat anything. The first meal I wanted when I came out was a Juju Wedge and a Chili Dog. Other notable delicious options here include their flatbread pizzas(the crust is perfectly cooked and the options for sauces, proteins, and other toppings are unconventional, including their homemade sauces), the roasted potatoes(every dipping sauce is a solid choice, but definitely try the spicy garlic), and, of course, their burgers, which I can only attest to second-hand, as my husband has tried them all and wants to go there on a daily basis. Their drink options are also delectable. I rarely drink alcohol, but their sangria is to die for(the pomegranate flavor is the best). They also serve local beverages, including Riley’s Root Beer(both kid-friendly and adult-friendlier). Desserts are homemade and vary daily, but if you happen to have access to the Caramel Apple Cheesecake or the Cannoli Cake, count your lucky stars and pray you have enough room to fit it all in.

This restaurant is very famous with locals… the burgers are really good and cook to perfection, the sauces on them are not overwhelming(you can order them on the side too) and the sides go good with the sandwiches too. The only reason why I am not giving them 5 stars is because I am disappointed that they do not have the option to order french fries. I think that their juicy burgers would go excellent with good crispy fries like in Eureka. The atmosphere is really good to come with friends and shoot the s…; the service is friendly and fast. ** Parking is in the back

First time here, even though I’ve wanted to try this spot for a couple of years now. Some friends of ours beat us to it and gave this lil hole in the wall rave reviews! So I thought it’s time. As soon as we walked in(the beautiful wife and baby daughter and I that is) a very pleasant aroma filled the room! Lol! Seriously it was delicious so that was a immediately a hint of what was to come. Now 2 things count for a good review and ambience. Well… 3 really it was clean very clean. But first is SERVICE now it wasnt bad… but it wasn’t a great first impression either. I’ve had a better greeting at a McDonald’s. But our waitress warmed up to our charming attitude later after some small talk. But the thing is we were the only ones in the room. So she didn’t have a reason for a initial«meh» attitude greeting. Definitely could’ve been better. But she Was Very Tentative and was always on the drinks and an thing else we needed. Number 2 is of course THEFOOD! Which what we ordered was very delicious! So many flavours but not overwhelming. Everything balanced, perfectly seasoned. I prefer a slight pink center which makes for a juicier burger but that’s nitpicking. It was delicious! The spicy garlic aoli was the best(used it as a dip for the potatoes)! My sweetheart had the dragon lady burger in a bowl style. Which she loved. I had the three sliders juju blue, Leticia, and Betsy Ross. All delicacies but hands down the Leticia was the best of the three! It was smokey… like in a backyard BBQ way, and the spicy Chipotle cilantro sauce was only second to only the garlic aoli! That’s to say it was very very good! Now the potatoes… Now the flavor was there I can taste really good seasoning. But… the potatoes were cold and probably cooked that morning. Just on the verge of being dry. But if I had got ahold of them hot and fresh I guarantee they would have been 10 times more appealing and tasty. And I’d be raving about them! Portion size was really good I’m a full figured gentleman. And the 3 three sliders were more than enough for myself. My baby daughter had the sliders for kids but really this option would be good up to the age of 12 or even higher! Again great portion size. This meal came with potatoes and a snack pack. Which I thought Was weird. Not in a critical sense but a culinary sense. Because everything is so hands on and personal that I didn’t expect to see a snack pack kinda of «there» on the plate. Not a bad thing but this place is small enough to pay attention to the details. Even as miniscule as a kids pudding. Cost wise… I thought it was a lil on the high side 2 meals 1 kids 1 tea 1 coffee and a water came out to over $ 40. Which is high for a family of our size. 2 adults 2 children 1 baby. Next time could put us above $ 60! So please consider that. Maybe a better intimate couples lunch spot than a family dinner night. Not you couldn’t do that but it could get expensive. Overall I highly recommend this gastro-pub style spot! Remember I review my experience at the time. Another day different waitress, hot potatoes, and this place could’ve easily been a 5 star spot.
