It’s all about the cheese!!! All the reviews were correct. The cheese sticks were awesome. We ordered the pepperoni special for the kids and we had a small combo for us adults. Everything was great!!! Very reasonable for the price also! Will be back if in the area in the future!

What can I say about this place other than CHEESESTICKS?!! This is their signature dish, dare I say even better than the pizza? I dare! They are well priced and come in orders of 6 or 8 and they are literal crack I’m salivating right now thinking of them. It’s doughy garlic cheesy goodness and if you want to change it up some you can add pizza toppings to make them even better. They also have a decent beer selection for being such a small place even if it is just Lagunitas and the other big boys of beer.

Our son was married in Clovis over Memorial Day weekend. We had 30 rooms booked at the Holiday Inn Express(650 W. Shaw), and wanted to have a casual dinner with our friends and family at the hotel, the night before the wedding. We went into this small, family owned pizza parlor and ordered 11 pizza’s and 10 salads to be delivered at a specific time. Right at the scheduled time, everything was delivered o the hotel, just as promised! The pizza was AWESOME! It was hot, with plenty of toppings. The sauce was not overly tomatoey, nor was it too sweet. The crust was delightful! Next time we roll through Clovis, we’ll make a point to stop by! Thanks for your service and terrific pizza!

They have hands down the best cheese sticks in town!!! As if cheese sticks don’t get any better you can add toppings. Some of which they stuff in the middle. The service is always friendly and fast. They have Pizza, sandwiches and salads as well. It’s a must try if you are close.

More Than Pizza is a small, hole-in-the-wall, family-owned pizza parlor with some of the best pizza we’ve ever had in the Central Valley. We recently moved to Clovis and found that our former favorite pizza parlor is a little too far away for delivery. More Than Pizza delivers but it also allows for pick up, or dine-in. The pizzas with meat are covered in loads of fresh meat. If you order mushrooms you can have canned or fresh mushrooms. The sauce is good and not too salty, or too sweet. The pizza sizes go from small and medium to extra-large. My understanding is that there is no large. The extra-large one loaded is quite a lot of pizza, so for two of us we tend to order a medium. I would like to say that allows for leftovers the next day, however the pizza is so good we tend to eat it all in one sitting The restaurant can become very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. So we tend to pick up on those nights. There are still some old-fashioned tendencies of this restaurant, such as putting you on hold means putting the phone on the counter. The quality of their food shows that this family cares a great deal about their business.

Love this pizza place. Their pizza is great. Also, order online– simple and more affordable than ordering on the phone or in person.

Their pizza is More Than delicious! Had this pizza a few weeks ago at a family party and the pizzas disappeared quickly. The Hawaiian was the best I’ve ever had! Fresh ingredients, tasty crust, love the square cuts!

This has been my favorite pizza since the 90s when I was in high school. I introduced my wife to it and she became a fan as well. Once my daughters were old enough to eat pizza, it became their favorite. Consistency is key to an enduring company. More Than Pizza has definitely been consistent in their quality. Quality dough Quality sauce Quality toppings Quality employees Hopefully my family will be able to enjoy the food and service for generations to come!

Great pizza — I’m very happy with this find. To be honest, I’m quite surprised my nephew hasn’t told me about this place, knowing I’m a self-described«Pizza Snob»! Anyway, this was a nice surprise. The reviews on Google were a bit more positive than from our fellow Fresno Unilocalers… just a little, this ain’t a knock of the Fresno Unilocal gang by any means… just an observation. When I pulled the pie off the counter, I immediately noticed its weight… a very solid sign. When I got it back to my hotel room and get settled, I then opened the box’s lid and yes… it was a beautiful sight to be seen. The toppings were legit! Huge slices of beacon, large slices of ham, bright green peppers, not just one or two jalapeños but an entire colony… and, the pepperoni buckled up to hold the Grease like it was brought into this world to do! And people ask me why I like to ru. And MTB? The cheese… oh my, the cheese. They certainly don’t skimp with the dairy… hence the weight. The dough was also interesting. Chewy, but the crust still had a nice caramelization from the Burt cheese and butter along the edges as it should — obviously they’ve perfected that. Have I had better pie? Yes. Why five stars? Because this is very solid pizza that will not disappoint anyone’s potential pizza«jones»…trust me. I would say his is the best pie that I’ve had in Clovis, period. I liked Clovis junction but, this pie is better… its just a little better. Additionally, it has a very warm/local atmosphere inside which never hurts. Enjoy Fresno — well done.

If you like super duper cheesy pizza, this place is for you! It’s so satisfying and perfect for that pizza fix! They are also very generous with their toppings. I’ve tried their cheese sticks as well, and they are equally delicious and oozing with cheese! The seating here is pretty limited during the lunch rush hour and on weekend nights. It’s quite small inside, so I recommend coming during non-peak hours. Or get it to-go! The staff are always friendly and amazing! I literally live right across the street from More Than Pizza… I’m not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing lol

This is my go to neighborhood joint. I don’t quite know where to begin. When you first walk in here you see how they wear their hearts on their sleeve. It is plastered with pics of local school team that they support. It is an self serve unassuming place. They have great beers on tap that they serve with a great iced mug. I have tried just about everything on their menu and there is nothing I don’t like. The impressive thing about this place is how it is run as such a well oiled machine. I have been here over 20 times, have rarely seen anyone older working than mid 20s and they are extremely nice and well trained. I remember a few months back on a very busy Friday night with the line out the door when I picked up a wrong order. They offered to correct the pizza immediately and initially even refused payment but accept a fix $ 10 for a large 3 topping. If I owned a family pizza place, I would want it run just like this place. Kudos!

I really enjoyed More Than Pizza. They’d have to be the best pizza place that I’ve been to in Fresno that caters to the Clovis area. The crust was thick but not too doughy. They also had the right amount of sauce. The ingredients also tasted really fresh. I felt like the flavors worked very well together. The phone service and delivery were also very good and timely. I like to order from them whenever I’m in the area!

Ok. I have heard from so many that this pizza is amazing. Pizza is pizza, right? Well it’s not! Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. Pizza: combo with fresh tomatoes added after. They didn’t scrimp on any toppings. Great linguisa on it too! The dough was pretty awesome. I never eat the crust on pizza… until today! Very soft. Beer mugs were perfectly awesomely chilled. Service was quick, courteous. They all looked like they didn’t have a care in the world and happy to work there. Acted like they were just happy to give grub to old friends verses to complete strangers. So why the 4 stars? I’d so give 4.5 if I could. But I can’t give five stars because the bathroom lock was broken and honesty it was pretty dirty in there too. The restaurant is small but that’s totally fine just don’t go during s super busy rush! Again: amazing pizza. Well done!

Definitely loved the pizza, and I want MOAR! Small, mom and pop shop that deserves it stars I am giving. Service was great and the music was popping. It even made a middle-age caucasian male customer dance to Michael Jackson — Thriller, lol… It was hilarious, but back to the review. Once you settled in and find your spot, customers have to go to the front counter ahead to order, there is no hand menus but a big red menu on the wall that displays everything offered and prices. The blonde woman was really helpful and nice to explain some things to me, so service was on point. I ordered the Large Meat Lover’s pizza which was slightly larger than I expected(I ain’t complaining at all) so be sure before leaving keep in mind to ask for that to-go box. Also got the Cheesy Sticks which is basically Garlic Cheesy Bread. I thought their were mozarella sticks at first but they were great and complimented the pizza. The toppings were on-point and high quality, the sausage always been my favorite meat in pizza and I can tell you by experience it was very pleasant to the taste buds, not that regular Great Value stuff. With two drinks I paid around $ 30 dollars give or take. I liked it and felt that you can be a little bit yourself other than being quiet and hearing crickets chirping. Myself I like the establishments with the music. What is life without music anyways? SUCKS. I rate this place 4.0 for service, food and atmosphere.

Finally, some good pizza in Fresno! I just had this More than Pizza for the first time recently and was very pleased that it was different than other Me-n-Ed’s clones around the area. The pizza reminded me very much of the ‘grandma style’ pizza in New York. Other reviewers mention NY style but the pizza here is nothing like the traditional NY slice(i.e. it’s not ultra thin); it’s more like a middle ground between thick and thin. I’d say it was tantamount to Harry’s Italian in Manhattan(financial district) – a good thing indeed. I uploaded two pics of a pepperoni and sausage XL pie. The restaurant itself is a whole in the wall type place; has about 6 to 8 booths and some tables. It was crowded and small, people waiting, and steadily running out with their pies for takeout – a good sign at any pizza place. The setup is that you order and then grab a table, they bring you the pizza. One has to grab their own drinks, plates, napkins, and silverware(if you’re so inclined to use a fork and knife to eat za). It’s really affordable too which is awesome. My only complaint was that there were tons of flies near the window booth seats; not sure why but it was kind of annoying. Bathrooms were clean. Those are small points though… I’ll definitely be back to get more pizza.

This is an impressive New York style pizzeria, definitely one of Fresno/Clovis best kept secrets and it should be on your to do list when eating out for pizza; truly reminded me of the pizzeria in the east coats– New York area, where the food is superbly good and the family sit down atmosphere is simple and unpretentious. Its really an interesting concept, it has the same comfort and amenities as a sit down restaurant –plates, shakers and etc, but everything is self serve, that means you take your own water, your own plates(porcelain here and real silverware) and your own condiments when you are finished ordering at the counter– what a way to save up on unnecessary tips. Parking is easy to find here, although its important to remember that this place close on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. With pizza prices ranging from $ 10-$ 15, it is highly reasonable for the generous portion and quality. I have to graciously thank one of my Unilocal friends who recommended me this place and actually met me here to share this amazing pizzeria. He was not kidding when he said this place was great, because it was out of this world for me too. The pizza here uses only the freshest ingredients and I mean the freshest, including real fresh pieces of roasted chicken, pieces you can actually notice to be roasted chicken that taste amazing –which is really rare here in Fresno. Its wasn’t only the fresh ingredients that was impressive, the pizza as a whole tasted amazing. The pizza crust has that rustic feel– nice crunch and perfect texture, neither thin or thick just perfect, while the cheese and other toppings of chicken, jalapeño and mushroom was really generous. The sauce was fresh tomato base, not to tarty with a hint of sweetness, complimented the pizza real well The 7 pieces chicken wings was also very tasty $ 4.99 with a hint of spiciness. Overall I would definitely be back to this amazing pizzeria, its a Clovis/Fresno gem thats not to be missed. The interior was also very homey and made you feel like your at home, while service was great, very friendly and attentive. So although you have to self serve, this place still offers a partial service– they do send out the food to your table when its cooked.

The parking’s OK, hardly full, and it’s next to a Mickey’s Yogurt and Foster’s Freeze, so You have a choice for dessert afterward. B) The first thing I noticed upon walking in was how big all tables are. All but one table is built for groups of 4 – 8. I also noticed that they cleaned the tables soon after patrons left, so that’s a plus. I ordered a meat lover’s Big Slice; it was so huge it was like TWO Sbarro slices! And so heavy with the toppings! I needed two hands to hold it and even then had to pick up fallen cheese, linguisa, and sausage. I couldn’t finish it. And it’s So GREASY! I picked up the piece to find a pool of grease underneath. Lots of napkins. The meat chunks and slices are also huge, especially the Canadian bacon and meatball. The crust was OK – I liked the soft-but-chewy texture of it until I got to the very edge, where it reminded me of Pizza Hut’s pan pizza. I did not know the pizza was so big or I wouldn’t have gotten wings. Seven for $ 4.50 with free dressing’s not a bad deal. They’re only mildly spicy, but they also have crispy parts that show they’re cooked over a fire – yum! They also left a pool of grease on the aluminum foil, though I didn’t taste it as much. For those who don’t mind grease and want big pizzas and big tables for your big group, this is for you. As for me, unless the budget’s tight or I want wings, I won’t be here very often.
