This place was awesome. Guy behind the counter was the nicest guy I’ve ever met that worked at a high end specialty shop. I’ve become conditioned to being talked down to by anyone claiming to be a specialist in any high end hobby shop. But not at this place. Super friendly. Super knowledgeable and super helpful. Great fly options too. Will go back. Anyone that lives in CDA and fly fishes needs to check this place out.

Pat Way was the gentleman we met today at Orvis. He was very nice and knowledgeable. We sat around and talk for a good long time. We will definitely be booking a tour with him this year. Great guy to hang out with!

For Christmas two years ago, I got my husband a fly-​fishing trip through the Orvis store in Coeur d’Alene, ID. He used that gift in Aug, 2013. His guide was Pat — and Pat couldn’t have been more professional or knowledgable! My husband learned a great deal about the art of fly-fishing…and actually fell in love with the sport. We just returned from another trip out there — where my husband spent a half day with Pat — and another half day with Brian. These guys are pros… and have helped my husband develop a new hobby — that will serve him well in his retirement years.
