We bunked up a few blocks from shop for Ironman CdA. Had to pop in a handful of x’s. They got the bike shifting right, the brakes kike they are supposed to brake. I just picked up 2 Electra cruisers last night and the guys there are great! The bikes were only $ 250 each and they treated me just as they would someone spending $ 5,000. They never once made me second guess my purchase. Even on the street a stranger told me my bikes were beautiful. Peter is a top notch employee and not pushy whatsoever! I will always go to Vertical Earth

I am personally not a big fan of this place. I’ve walked in this shop a few times and the guys there act too cool for school. The employees think it is above them to help you. What a joke, this is Coeur d alene not Aspen or Vail. I’ve got the attitudes in those shops in the past. The other thing I found interesting is that the inventory was very low and selection was sparse on everything. The prices were sky high and double of online retailers. There are a couple of better shops in town that I won’t name that are better and you can figure it out.

Went looking for my first bike in 20 years. Other stores in town didn’t exactly throw out the welcome mat, although they are decent.
Vertical Earth got it right — they listened to what I wanted, then we methodically went through and I realized I wasn’t informed well enough to make that choice. They steered me right, I bought a bike and now I buy everything there, because I can pick their brains and get exactly what I need, not what I think I need.
Crew there has amazing experience in all avenues of bike racing, and customer service will blow you away. Don’t shop online — stop in and see what a difference someone who knows what you need can make —
