I still love the Gap even though I’ve probably aged out of their target demographic. I think they sell a quality product for a decent price. That’s why this review is for the service(or lack thereof) at the Carriage Crossing store only. I work close enough that I can pop in to this store on my lunch breaks and I do that quite often. Almost every time I go in this store, I am completely ignored the entire time. I’ve even had to hunt people down to get them to ring me up. I wouldn’t say the employees are rude — they are just nonexistent. Well, that’s not exactly accurate. There is one employee that is outright rude. And I’m pretty sure she is a manager so that explains the overall bad attitude at this store. Don’t get me wrong — I like to be left alone to shop in peace. But it is nice to have somebody say hello and welcome you to the store. I just feel like an interloper at this store.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 New York, NY
I used to work at this location about a year and a half ago so I’m probably a little biased, but I love this store. The employees are very friendly to customers. If you ask for help, they are always willing to drop what they’re doing to help locate an item, whether it be hidden somewhere in the store, stored in the back, or at another location. I also love the layout of the store. Most Gaps are large open rooms with clothes thrown in what appears to be random order. I always feel a little exposed and slightly paranoid in the wide open spaces. This location has the store broken into sections. There’s the t-shirt area, the classic area, the trendy area, and the area full of blue jeans. Because it’s broken up like this, there’s more order in the store, and I feel like I have a bit of privacy. Best of all, there’s one side for men, and one side for women, even with separate entrances. Another thing about this location that I love are the sales. This is the only Gap I’ve ever been in that has such large amounts of clothing marked down. Generally there’s a small section in the back(of the wide open space) that has sale items, but at this store there is usually a whole wall devoted to sale items. When Gap has the Really Big Sale, there’s several walls. Plus, if there is a defective item, they seriously mark it down. Button pop off? 50% off. There’s a small tear in your bag after you’ve used it for several weeks(doing God knows what)? We’ll replace it. Our store doesn’t have the item you want? We’ll order it for you and have it shipped to your house. I love it!
