One side I am happy that idiot can get a job. On the other side one star customer service. Went there today to get some stain for my decks. Asked the guy name Dave this: Me: will a gallon of this stain good for like a few hundred sq feet? Dave: huh? Me: will a gallon good for few hundred sq feet? Dave: a gallon of these good for four hundred sq feet? Me: few. not exactly four hundred. That was a question not a statement. Dave look at me like I am speaking alien language. I repeated, he continue confused, I then spell few, F, E, W! He repeat: F! E! W?! Yes! FEW! Thanks! Never mind. Get me a gallon. He then asked me do I want premium or regular. I asked him what’s the difference? He told me premium is more expensive. He then asked me again how many do I need, I repeat. One gallon! He then try to be a smart mouth, oh yea! You need to paint a FEW right? I repeat. Few hundred sq feet. Consider that was my lucky day. I manage to get some paint out of that store.

This is a legit lumberyard and tool spot. You won’t find any tiles or appliances here, but you will find every type of wood and screw needed. If you’re not sure of what you need, it’s best not to come here first thing in the morning(you’ll be competing with all the tradespeople who are starting their days picking up supplies — and that’s the bread & butter of the pro store)… If you’re like me, and you have a sense of what you need, but could use some help, early afternoon, post lunch seems to have worked for me. I needed wood boards cut to a specific length, as well as beam posts, and the appropriate wood screws. The associates were awesome in helping me find the best possible wood pieces(no knots, not broken, etc), then measured and cut the pieces(for free!) to nearly precision(I think they have a margin of error of an 1/8″ — so if you need that kind of precision, you’re probably better off cutting/sawing yourself). This was a welcome relief from the«oh our saw is broken» that I got from an SF store, and the«oh, we’ll charge you $ 1 per cut» at another store…

Saturday, 1:00PM. We bought material from Home Depot to renovate an investment property. I’m not great with DIY projects yet so I had a ton of questions. The folks I met here were not friendly to a newbie. And then??? A few bad apples won’t ruin it for me.

I am a DIY’er and enjoy fixing things at my home. Home Depot has great prices and a huge selection, but it can sometimes be hard to find exactly what you need. However, I have been pleasantly amazed at the service I have received at the Colma Pro Home Depot. Lance helped me three times find the right fittings for my plumbing and water drainage projects. Lei(may not be full name) helped me with some of the special orders I had made. And another gentleman helped me with concrete/rebar to use for steps. I find that the staff at the Pro Store always have the time for even the simplest questions. Thanks!

Game here to get a generator and found it. I was helping a friend with her crêpe business and she needed one for whatever reason. The associates here are all helpful. Most of the customers I noticed work in construction or carpentry. This place is a lot cooler then the HOMEDEPOT across the way. There is just more stuff. Plus, the are willing to help you out to your car if you need it. That is very much appreciated. Service is on point and rightfully so. You can tell that the workers take pride in what they do. The effort level is high here. I just hope that the employees are compensated well for their hard work.

*This review is for their online shopping service and in-store pick up* A new job, comes with new tools. With that said, my partner got a new job, and so my way of showing my overwhelming support was to get him a few new tools for it! I wish I did, but I literally have no clue about tools or anything like that, so having The Home Depot Pro store do all the«heavy lifting» for me was easy peasy! All I had to do was choose which tools I needed, opt for in-store pick up, and choose where I’d like to pick it up from(I especially like that they tell you which store has which inventory so you can change it to your liking and needs) You can check out as a guest, and use pay-pal or credit cards when you check out. I placed my order on Saturday night and by early Sunday morning, I received an email that my items were ready for pick up, even though I chose to have it ready by Monday! Picking up was simple, the line was short, and it looked like everyone in there knew exactly what they were doing. It was the«pro» store, afterall. Highly recommend for quick online shopping — easy, efficient, and quick!

I’ve been a long time HD customer frequently visiting locations in both Daly City and Colma areas. I go to the Pro store often and never have I had an experience that was worthy of sharing until I met Tasi! Recently, I asked a nearby employee where I could find a few particular parts my boss and I couldn’t find. She was knowledgable in every area inquired about, literally helping us from the beginning to the end; even checking us out and offered her help to the car! HD Pro, you definitely have a gem on your hands! I’ll be looking out for Tasi when I come again. Big thanks for all her help and the ease of getting everything taken care of in a timely manner. Usually, it can take about an hour to complete a big order, but we were out in a breeze and our order came just as we placed it. Efficient and convenient, just what we needed in a time crunch!

The old timers that work here are really helpful and go out of their way to help you. They also follow up with requests and make sure the customers are taken care of. The young kids that work here walk around and try to avoid work at all costs. They’re on their phone, talking to each other and dodging the supervisors since the warehouse is so huge. On a most recent visit, two kids kept walking past us and didn’t offer help. They were scheming about how to not work until lunch came about. An old timer, who was helping another customer, came up and asked us if we needed help. We did and he tracked the two kids down to make them help us. They took their time, hoodies on their heads and what they did to help us had to be redone by another employee. It’s called integrity. I suggest you hire employees that have it. A+ for the 50+year old hustling his rear end off at HD helping all customers in sight. F– for the punk kids who don’t carry their weight.

This place is great, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the inventory is gigantic, and the prices are a lot cheaper than the regular Home Depot store(Paid $ 85 for a $ 135 drill battery). Whenever I’m in the area, I will definitely be returning to this store.

While waiting to order custom windows, Ruben, did not even bother to help my mom. He was busy texting on his phone. After a few complaints, he stuck his hands right in my mom’s face and said, «I’m busy.» Excuse me, when did it become customary and okay for workers to stick their fingers in someone’s face? Not only is that rude but what kind of service is that? Than as he began helping my mom, he continuously answered his phone and told the few people he talked to that he’s heading to lunch. Does that explain his rudeness? Yes. But does that excuse it? No. Eventually, he sat down to help my mom. Only to give her attitude. It’s not okay to belittle customers and if we didn’t need to replace the windows ASAP, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Side note: As soon as he saw me trying to figure out his name, he started to become a tad bit nicer and helped my mom out with less attitude. Ending on a good note: Lawrence was very helpful.
