Five Points Salon

Just moved here and Had difficulty finding a good hair salon but I had a great experience here. Brittany cut my hair and it came out beautifully. So glad to find a great place to get my haircut!

Could not have had a better experience — loved everything about the salon, the stylists, and their work. After living in NYC for 5 years, I was nervous about finding a new hair salon down here, but I have definitely found my go-​to place! Brittany Miller did my cut and color and I cannot say enough good things about her. Mark and Laura also gave their styling input and everything turned out better than I expected.

I went in for an ombré touchup and it took them three tries to get it right. My hair looked like Cruella De Vil because they were unable to get the ombré color flow done correctly. I honestly could have done a better job myself with the boxed dye like I usually do. On top of that, I was not impressed by Mark at all. He was rude and a bit condescending when I tried to explain to him what I wanted fixed. I was also very disappointed in how unprofessional he was and did not realize the buildings walls are not soundproof; therefore, I could hear everything he was saying when he stepped outside to speak with my stylist. He insulted me by saying I don’t know what ombré is and that I didn’t give them enough time to do my hair because I supposedly didn’t mention I wanted a cut when I made my appointment. Customer service should be their top priority not whether they were given enough «time» or not. I was there all day Saturday (had to come back at a more convenient time for them) and I was hardly pleased with my results. I was not offered a refund or compensated for my wasted time. I will be going back to my usual hairstylist in Atlanta from now on.

Great service! Great product! Been going to these guys for years. My hair always looks great, the staff is always sweet, they can change my style and give me personalized suggestions on cut and color. Very hip place to go, but with reasonable prices.
Mark is my favorite, but I’ve never seen a bad stylist there. And the owner (John) is very nice and helpful.
Mark took me from a dark brown to bleach blonde and now to a dirty blonde. He is always helping me keep it new and fun and I have a great time while I’m there.
