Well… I guess I’ll never eat hear again. In planning my birthday dinner I thought bjs would be a great place for my friends and I to celebrate! Called the restaurant to make a reservation to be sure our party would no have to wait. The person on the phone took out reservations. I arrive to a busy restaurant a few minutes early and walk into a waiting area with no hostess or anybody for that matter. This is when the ass hat they call a manager walked up with a puzzled look on his face and begins to look around. No one responds to his search for eye contact so I step up and ask«has everyone else been helped» he replied«I don’t know, I don’t know where my girls are!»(Extremely sexiest in my book) I tell him I had a reservation for 5 for Thomas at 630. He punches a few keys on the computer and has a puzzled look. He’s response was this«we just got real busy and sat all the tables, it’s going to be a while» I respond with«Than my reservation was pointless?» And he tells me that don’t take reservations and whoever told me this was in the wrong.(My name and number of people clearly on the computer which I can see) The call ahead seating prompt is number 2 on message bored when you call the restaurant! He tells me 45 min! At this point I try to leave when the manager followed me into the parking lot to tell me agin how I was wrong! At this point I walked away before the situation escalated he was clearly looking to start trouble with me. He handed this situation in the worst way possible. As I walk away he yells sarcastically«sorry I ruined your birthday» sooooo… I’ll never be back my friends won’t be back. BUT thanks for the opportunity to eat at flip side burgers! They were awesome polite and food was amazing!

One of my favourite places to go in columbus. Pizza and all other food is amazing as well as the beer selection. Service is hit or miss but never bad enough to warrant a poor review. If you have not tried it, bump the top spot on your to do list.

We’ve been to BJ’s a number of times and it’s usually 4+ stars. However, this time, not so good. My Turkey Burger was fine, as well as, the salad. The trouble was with my wife’s California Chicken Club. It was ordered without the garlic mayo, and of course, it came with it. The server brought another that looked as though it was thrown together in about 4 seconds and also had the wrong bread. The service was somewhat lackluster as it appeared he wasn’t that into providing any. We’ll be back again, but hopefully to a better experience. We went again today and, once again, one of the orders came out incorrect. I wish the servers would write down the correct order, or the cooks would actually read what was ordered. Somewhere in there is the problem. The wrong order was sent back and not replaced. I figured I’d eat something later. I guess the best thing to do at this BJ’s is to order exactly what’s on the menu with no changes. Maybe then the food you actually ordered will arrive.

I really try to find the best in every situation, I really do And I generally regard myself as an optimist but, no matter how optimistic I may try to be, there was nothing positive that I can say about my experience here. For starters, I arrived at 7:30PM and my order wasn’t taken until 9:30PM. Yes, I understand that it was a Friday night and yes I understand that it’s in Easton which is a very popular part of town. But I also feel like the establishment should know that. And they should have more than enough people scheduled to work to accommodate the crowd. If you have more people working, people are seated quicker. Those same people then order faster and they eat faster and leave quicker. For me, it all boils down to being prepared. The drinks were ordered and there was a root beer that was placed on the table with absolutely no ice at all. Just root beer and a glass. I sampled a little bit of everyone’s plate including the chicken tenders and fries, the fish and french fries, the brisket barbecue burger and my dish which was the baked ziti. The ziti was not cooked al dente. It tasted like it was rinsed in hot water and placed in the broiler. The top level of my pasta was crunchy. Pasta is never supposed to be crunchy. It tasted like someone had gotten some noodles, poured some Ragu on it, sprinkled some cheese on top and brought it out. And to think they have the audacity to charge me $ 15 for this. Our server only came to check on us for drinks when we were about to leave so at that point there was no need. Now I understand that everyone has a bad day sometimes. Evidently I caught them on their’s. But sometimes once is all it takes for me, especially when there is so many other similar themed restaurants for people to choose from. Needless to say, I probably won’t be back.

BJ’s is one of the newest chain restaurants available in the Easton area. I would compare it to The Cheesecake Factory — but with a better beer selection. Like most chains… their menu caters to all different types of customers. It takes little risk and focuses on creating selections which are neither groundbreaking nor spectacular. This style of food service is not always a bad thing, however it does leave something to be desired by food connoisseur’s seeking a revolutionary experience. The service was great/cheerful and the ambiance is exactly what you should expect from a chain brewhouse. Overall, it is a good family or group destination for people who require many options. It is a better choice than The Cheesecake Factory, Ruby Tuesday, or Fridays.

Went here for lunch with some friends. Waiter service was great. Quick with the refills. Lunch was spot on. Great food. Huge menu. I ordered the club and it was great. Friends ordered pizzas. They couldn’t finish them because they were all full. Restraunt atmosphere is great. Very nice, with a huge bar. Lots of TV’s with different things on them.

Nice atmosphere. The host was attentive and very polite. Our server had a great attitude and was very knowledgable. The menu was HUGE and had lots of different options. I got a cheeseburger and fries. It was tasty and filling. The fries were a little disappointing, they were cut really small and they gave me a bunch of them but overall it was good.

The wife and i tried Bjs this past weekend and we were very pleased. They have a lot to choose from so you should find what your lookin for. We got seated fast with no. wait and the place was packed. My wife had the ribs and i got the double deluxe burger. I think its the best burger ive had in Columbus and ive been to all the places that say they have the best… uhhhh no. Bjs rock the house when it comes to a damn burger. I tried the ribs too and they were bangin as well. We will be back very soon.

I really wish they put that much effort into the food as they do the décor up in BJ’s. It’s like their trying to be something their not. FYI, if a restaurant ever has a book with a bizzllion items, chances are the food isn’t as great. Great beer selection, I had a very nice waitress, had a nice time with family there but the food is over priced for what it is. It’s like the food is good enough to be kinda fancy but not great enough to justify the price. Don’t get me wrong my Jambalaya was good. The house salad was half a bowl. Maybe some days tastes better than others? Still better than Applebee’s, Champs, Friday’s!

Decided to try the new BJ’s last night with the family. Did the wait list on the app to save time. I’m glad I did, otherwise the wait time was 60 – 80 minutes which is expected for a Saturday evening at Easton, but not easy to do with children. The service was so slow. Like put your order in and wait 20 minutes to get your drinks and 45 mins to get your appetizer slow. Dinner finally arrived after over an hour. All in all took about 2 hours. Thankfully we had no other plans. I think our server was new to serving. We didn’t see her much but she was nice when we did. Not helpful but nice. The food was okay and portions were good. We got plenty for the money. Overall, it wasn’t terrible and we will try again. I think this must have been a fluke. Other parties around us were in and out much faster so we will give it another shot sometime.

Great tasting food at a great price and the customer service was awesome too. I had the Shrimp and Mahi Mahi tacos with a Watermelon Moijto… OMG! SOGOOD! I also had the salted caramel pizookie(pizza cookie). It was phenomenal :) The only reason I didn’t give it the full five stars is because the tables are way too close to each other and there was an odd smell near our table by the emergency exit. Not sure what that was all about, but my friend and I still enjoyed ourselves.

I had the body and shrimp tacos one of each. The tacos were full of cabbage and stuffing no meat or shrimp. Disappointment. Got an additional star for very attentive waitress. Staff was friendly.

Great service, food, and beer. Overall was super happy with our dinner at BJ’s. Their prices are spot on; just the right price for the portion and quality. One person at our table got the salmon over quinoa, and another got the mahi-mahi pineapple dish and they both raved about how tender and delicious their fish was(especially for a chain restaurant like this, we were amazed!). Pizzas: They list their pizzas as «deep-dish,» but this is really not true. BJ’s pizzas are just SERVED in a deep dish, but they are actually pan pizzas. Real deep-dish has a thick crust with lots of sauce and toppings. BJ’s pizzas are very light, buttery, flaky crust(i.e. pan pizza) with very little sauce. They did pile on the toppings, which I loved. So was expecting deep-dish, got pan pizza instead. Still awesome tasting, and will definitely get it again! Try the BJ’s favorite or Gourmet Five Meat. Beer: Every single beer they brew is delicious. You can get pints, pitchers, or samplers of any beer on tap. They also have guest beers on draft.

Got a chance to check this place out for lunch last week. There was no wait a little after noon. I had the«Brewhouse Black & Bleu-House» burger which was fantastic — bursting with flavor from the rich blue cheese and aioli. The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked. The server was nice and accommodating even after we changed up how we wanted the checks split. The waits were a little long between refills. Also, we were told our waitress would go over a rewards program, but she must have forgotten.

The Boy and I wandered in here last week after seeing that it had just opened. The place still had that«new construction» smell. There was a large number of staff floating around, probably due to trainers still onsite for the opening. This worked in our favor as everything was smooth as silk. We were seated as soon as we walked in, I expect this won’t be possible again once word gets out that they are open. If you’ve been to a BJ’s before, you’re already familiar with the layout and menu. I opted for their seasonal beer(which was darn tasty) and the boy went for the blonde ale. We both went for new menu items. I tried the barbacoa chicken off the enLIGHTened menu. It is very good, nicely spiced and cooked perfectly. The Boy had the bbq brisket burger which looked amazing and he reports that it was very tasty. Our server(who, like most of the staff, was new) was prompt, polite and helpful. They have a takeout door/counter, which seems like an excellent idea for the Easton area. Even though this is another chain, it is a welcome addition to the shopping plaza.

Even thought this place just opened I didn’t have any rookie issues with anyone. Seems to be running pretty smooth. It’s located in the new Easton Gateway complex and has its own parking lot. It’s pretty much the same as the Polaris location but maybe a little less space. Regardless, I decided to try something off their enLIGHTened menu this time. Specifically the Kale and Roasted Brussels Sprouts Salad, but with added Cajun Shrimp. I’d suggest just asking for shrimp without seasoning. Perhaps for everything you get it added to. Something was a little off with all the flavors of the salad and I think it might have been that Cajun seasoning. Overall it was nice. Worth a try if you’re into the whole kale trend and dig roasted brussels sprouts. Neither was overly bitter. Can’t visit a BJ’s without getting a beer, which they brew themselves, but not on location. I love their Hefeweizen-crisp taste but also a great aroma. I love just sitting there and smelling it. All locations also have seasonals throughout the year, like Pumpkin Ale and others for Oktoberfest and the winter months. They also have a gluten free berry cider as well. It’s pretty refreshing and not as sweet as most. This ties in to their gluten free menu, which isn’t that extensive but good that they have those options. I’m NOT Gluten free, mind you, but that salad I had was on that menu. Definitely worth checking out one of their locations. Extensive food and drink menu that would be hard to not find something to enjoy. UPDATE: went back for dinner and got the ahi tuna salad and the sriracha brussels sprouts appetizer together. Also a pint of local CBC Summer Teeth beer. The salad was very good but the size of the tuna in the photo was definitely NOT what I got. A little bait and switch I feel. Also, it had small wasabi dollops in it, which I kept hitting and freaking out about. Needs to be mixed in better. WOW! Brussels sprouts were once again very good but you get a lot of them. Also, never, NEVER eat brussels sprouts twice in one day. Yikes.
