Food is good, service is terrible. We have been there several times, but this was the worst. We were seated by the manager and she told us our server would be right with us. After 15 minutes later we still had no server. Two different servers told us they would send our server over. We asked to see the manager and she again told us our server would be right over. We told her not to bother because we were leaving. The door listed a phone for the general manager and I called it and just got a strange tone.

My family, party of 7, visited here for a Sunday morning breakfast. We were sat promptly and the hostess was friendly and quick to set up our table upon arrival. Our server, Yolanda, was attentive and did a wonderful job. Our meal came out in a very timely manner and the food was good. This location is always clean and great with service.

I’ve talked to soooo many people that rave about how good IHOP is so I decided to try it one day. The fact that it was nearly dead on a Saturday night should have been a sign I paid attention to. The neighboring restaurants were PACKED and had a 30 minute wait(we tried to go to those places first.) What a joke. Their specialties were of poor taste and quality and took forever to finally cook and make it to our table(it took four minutes for someone to get to the counter where they ring out your order), I had the breakfast sampler, how on Earth do you screw up breakfast? The eggs you get as part of the order weren’t fully cooked. The whites were soupy! The ham(slightly burnt) and bacon strips, were greasy and tasted like different pieces of salt with different textures. Sodium overload. The sausage were… meh. Frozen links you can buy from a grocery store. At least they know how to cook pancakes. Go to the steakhouse or the Italian restaurant near by if you’re in the area, you probably won’t wait an eternity to get your food.

Went for breakfast with my girlfriend. Had the combo breakfast with pancakes. Raspberry/peach topping. Yummm! Have to give props to our waitress Kiki. She was great, it helps when you have a photographic memory. Waited on several tables no writing anything down. Also a great team at this location as everyone helped out as far as refills.

Went here after the OSU game– arrived and the place was not busy. We were greeted at we came in the door and seated right away but sat here for over an hour and still no food. Our server is either very new or just not able to do her job… I’m going to go with the latter because her obnoxious response when we inquired about the status of our order was enough to make me want to get up and walk out. Luckily another server decided to check in on us because we were very noticeably hangry by then. There was also a lot of yelling in the back so I’m not sue what was going on but the customers could all hear it. We finally received our food and it looked like it had been sitting for a while and like my 6 year old made it. Left feeling super disappointed. They did foot the bill and the sever who helped us out was apologetic so we may try again some other time in hopes that our initial server went to work somewhere else.

TURNYOURHEATON!!! It’s 30 degrees outside and the a/c is turned on– we can feel the a/c blowing down on us!!! As I look around the restaurant, every single person in here is eating with their coat on. Ridiculous. Our server was great though. He was very friendly and super attentive.

This is the worst experience i ever had at an IHOP. Food was nasty and the service was not the best. I will never come here again.

We were sat right away but required to wait 17 minutes for a waiter only because I said something to the manager. After taking our order we waited 30 minutes for food that was either cold or came straight out of the microwave. This seems to be a trend with IHOP nowadays. Time to move on…

I’ve been to many IHOP locations and this review is only for this location. We were promptly greeted and seated. Service overall is good. However the only thing I didn’t like was given the check before we were even done eating. Food was good and consistent. I had the spinach and mushroom omelette with hash browns(see picture). Parking is ample and convenient to I-270.

Phew. Kind of a train wreck. Server was nice enough, but relatively new. Food came out just«odd». One omelette was small, the other was as big as my head. Fruit was scattered on a plate. And taking 30 mins to make a couple omelette when there was like 6 people in the restaurant? A couple of minor substitutions tosses the place down a flight of stairs. All in all — can’t recommend it. Go to First Watch instead.

Worst service in the world during after hours. Very rude waiters and specially I had this bad experience twice with waiters who work during after hours. I stopped going to IHOP altogether whenever I need to get some food after 1 pm.

IHOP standard good food. Convince is the only reason I come back because service is usually poor. TIP order everything when you order your beverage.

An IHOP is an IHOP for the most part, in my experience. It’s never the best breakfast food I’ve ever had, but it serves its purpose. I was at this location on Free Pancake Day, which is a day that I’m extra sympathetic to the servers on because I know they deal with all sorts of terrible people on that day. Given the nature of the day, we did have a bit of a wait time once we got to the restaurant, but it wasn’t too ridiculous. Everybody seemed to be on their«A» game, and the service was quite good on the whole.

IHOP is just one of those places. It gets a bad rap because of its chain status(and no doubt any number of poorly run locations) but I personally have never had a horrible experience. For such mass produced recipes the food is usually as on par as it can be for breakfast. The portions are generous, if not over sized and pancakes come with everything. Personally, for the money(taking the sausage out of the question) ihop trounces Bob Evans.

On Veterans Day they had a special breakfast for vets. I met up with my dad and had a fantastic breakfast. It was thinking that we would have to wait 30−45min to get a table but there was maybe 5 – 6 tables with people the entire time we were there. The food was hot and delicious, the waitress was pleasant, courteous and prompt.

Things just ain’t what they used to be around the ol’ IHOP. Columbus rid themselves completely of this chain for a few years only to bring it back, but unfortunately for the worse. It had been years since I had eaten here, but I just didn’t remember it being so low quality and cheap. We’re talking like Denny’s cheap and quality wise. Feed the masses, save the pennies, but damn the taste. Service has not been bad the past couple times we’ve stopped here. We’re waited on fairly quick, and our servers have always been nice. There’s a saying I like to take from West Virginia’s infamous Jessco White. «.Sloppy. slimey. eggs.» Now Jessco White actually threatened to kill someone over poorly cooked eggs. I am not that crazy, nor have I huffed enough gasoline to make me want to do so, but I will say that this IHOP has served us Sloppy, slimey eggs once, not twice… but THREETIMES. They have also managed to serve me Turkey Bacon that was nowhere near cooked. Their late night chef is not the best for cooking breakfast, which is making me question how the hell that person is still a line cook here. I guess it’s waffle house from now on to appease my late night hunger pangs and grease binges.

Since they have opened, I have been forgiving to them for the slow service, the hiccups in the road. I’ve been here at night, and for breakfast. And the service gets worse and worse. Now in here with my sons. Waited out front were there was no one, sat, ordered immediately, and now we wait for going on 30 minutes. 2 kids. 30 minute wait for food. The server hasn’t checked on is since he have us out drinks, nor have I seen him. This has become the perpetual experience here. Weekend. Weekday. No real service. I now dread what the food may resemble, either grossly over cooked or under. I’ve returned a couple more times, and«Slow, inattentive service» seems par for the course. The grandparents love it, but I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why.
