Just left this McDonalds and the employees acted as if they didn’t know where they were. I only ordered an ice cream cone and a sweet tea, for goodness sakes. When I got to the window to pay, I asked for a kiddie cone as well, which are free and have been as long as I can remember.(Also, my teenage daughter works at another location and I asked to be sure.)They were so confused. Just kept looking at me. I just wanted the cone for my dog. Two different employees. I literally had to drive away because they just couldn’t figure it out. I would have paid for it, no problem.

4 stars for a playplace, but the cleanliness and service ruin this place. If this place didn’t have a playplace and I visited then it would be one star. The playplace is good for 3 – 6 year olds but not great for toddlers under 2. The playplace has a bathroom with it but it was nasty. Actually the whoel place was pretty dirty and grungy. I saw one mom looking very disgusted and regretting stopping here but what can you do when you have the wee ones. The service is very slow. The cashier was very polite and working hard while the rest of the staff seemed to be in chat around the warmer stage. There were 3 – 5 people standing around talking most of the time. A few people seemed to be carrying the weight here. They were well staffed but the tables were dirty and the workers were complacent. It is McDonalds but for a nice large one in Dublin, I thought it might be better than others. There are some good ones out there but his is not one. If you are driving on 270 and need a playplace for the kids then this is valuable but I think I would go the other way on Sawmill to the Chick-Fil-A instead. This place also is on a busy stetch of road and a pain to get in and out from.

Worst mcDonalds ever!!! I wish corporate would do something about this location! Just watched 3cars leave without ordering. And now I can hear the employees screaming and playing around!!! Do your jobs! I will never come back to this location again!!! Worst ever! I just drove away after sitting longer than 6mins just for someone to greet me! Better off not ordering. They always give me cold fries or get order wrong anyways! Please do something about your staff!

I can’t believe how many times I’ve been to this location and the wait has been ridiculously long. Why do I come here? It’s close to my place and apparently I don’t learn from previous experiences. They are never ready for breakfast. even two hours after they’re supposed to serve it. This place needs new management.

Ordered a Fish and a Cheeseburger because I could not wait till I got off work at 8pm. Went back to work and ate the cheeseburger and it was ok, not very warm. Took a big bite of my Fish and a 12 –14 inch Black hair followed dangeling out of my mouth. I threw up on the spot in the lunch area at work. I called and the manager said stop back down and we will give you another Fish roflmao I don’t think so I said. What I would like is a refund and she ask did I have the receipt? You mean the one they never give you? So we settled on coupons for 2 free meals. That’s all and good as long as I can use them someplace different. This place is right down the street and a Emergency dinner only and it always turns South. Thats why I posted this…4 years is enough.

If you are looking for a place to go and wait 15 minutes for cold food in a dirty facility… look no farther! Be prepared for your order to be wrong as well… you’ll know why once to walk in. The only reason I come here is because I’m a sucker dad with kids that love the monster size play place… just be ready to hose them down in bleach when you leave.

If want anything here in the morning plan on being there for at least 15 – 20 min and your order still won’t be right. I try this McDonald’s every couple months because it is close to my work and it never gets better I have given up on it don’t waste your time there are McDonald’s all over just try a different one.

I was only one of two customers at 7pm on a weekday, yet they were severely understaffed. There was only one boy running the cash register and the drive-through at the same time, so he would take one of our orders, take three drive through orders, then fill three drive through orders, before finally filling my order and getting to the next person. I had to go back once because he forgot the go-gurts in my Happy Meal, then again because he forgot to put a toy in one of them. He was nice enough but obviously overworked. The bathroom was stinky and wet everywhere and the soap was out. The play place room was the dirtiest public place I’ve ever seen. There was so much trash on the ground it probably has not been swept or mopped all day. The floor was so sticky that my shoes stuck to it with every step. I will not be a returning customer.

Sometimes you just gotta indulge your«I need to eat terrible food and ENJOYIT» mood. For that, there’s McDonald’s! Our food was put together well, which is more than you can say for many McDonald’s. It was pretty delicious, too. Good use of the 1,000+ calories? Maybe not. But I sure enjoyed it! The seating is a little confusing. It looks like there’s only a small area to sit in, if you come in on the left of the restaurant. There’s actually tons of seating on the right side of the restaurant, where the restrooms are. 3 stars because of attitude. The girl ringing up our order(who might actually be the manager, yikes) kept sighing at us, glaring at us, and generally being short with us. Um, I know you work at a McDonald’s, but at least pretend like you don’t hate it? I was once a teenager working customer service jobs that I hated and I’m pretty sure I didn’t act like that.

The usual Sawmill Rd McDonalds run around. Went to drive thru this morning with my wife. Ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two small coffees. Coffee was supposed to be free. Two customers two sandwiches. Oh NO. Only one free coffee per/car. STUIPD. If we had walked inside we each could have got a coffee for free. According to the TV ads says a purchase wasn’t even required. This is the worst McDonalds in NW Columbus

Got my order wrong then ignored my complaint and continued taking orders from other people. The lady at the drive thru who got the wrong items was told the things she got were just as good as what she actually ordered. Another lady came into the counter because she was told to pull up past the drive thru window and her food would be brought right out but then they forgot about her. The employees were clueless, especially the manager. Avoid this location. I certainly will.

Okay I understand that it is a franchise and most of the worker are adolescent teens but I am getting tired of everything I attempt to order they cut me off and tell me to pull ahead, this is the only one I seem to have that issue with and it is reoccurring.

Just like many others have said, this place has gone WAY downhill, it is okay sometimes, but for the most part, they suck, and like some others have said, check your bags before you leave and make sure you get everything I went one night to try out the new mighty wings, this was roughly around closing and the doors were still unlocked(unlike what Carl A. said, they are NOT24hrs, drive thru is though), I walk in and get in line, as soon as I get in line, the manager(or who I assume to be the manager) who must have been in a pissy mood, says, with a tone«we are closing, everybody behind(describes the person directly in front of me) needs to leave now», which basically meant me, and maybe 2 other people(still think she was targeting me in particular, for no reason), and they were busy too, I only went inside because the drive thru line wrapped around the building This particular McDonald’s has 2 ordering lanes, when I got back into my car and went to the drive thru, I took the second lane, I sit there waiting to give my order and nobody answers, during this time, 2 people in the first lane already give their order and were approaching the window, STILL no reply, so I loop around the building and go to lane 1, during this time, I look over at lane 2ANDSOMEONEWASABLETOMAKEANORDER, so I FINALLY get service my third time, I make my order, and FINALLY get my food, after spending nearly ANHOUR just to place the order The manager should have just locked the door and let everyone that was in the building before closing make their order, but for the manager to choose who can order and who can’t, that’s just unprofessional and disrespectful If I receive service like that again, I am seriously considering going to a different location, like the one in Powell near the Buffalo Wild Wings, even though it is further away

This is the second worst McDonald’s in Columbus. They are unbelievably slow, often have difficulty taking my order, are frequently very rude taking my order and almost every time they say the ice cream and/or coffee machines are down for cleaning. If they were not less than a mile from my house and convenient to the freeway I would avoid them like the plague.

I have a love/hate relationship with this McDonalds. I mean, it’s fast food, so the staff turnover is high — but when you get the staff that has been here for a while? They treat you like a regular. They’re super friendly. They’re like your grandparent or extended relative. Drive thru can be shaky — I still prefer coming inside — but their staff is more often awesome than not, with a play place that is well-worn but not grimy. I know, we are supposed to hate fast food, but my kids like an occasional shake or cookie or cheeseburger while running around their play place.

This McDonalds [wait, is that McDonald’s, or McDonalds? I never know] is open 24 hours, and has a 24 hour dining room. At one point last year, they closed the dining room at 11pm, because«of all the crime in Dublin», as the manager told me. I believe it, Dublin is a total ghetto. Seriously, look up crime statistics in the city. There are always robberies and such going on. Dublin better shape up, because before you know it, it’ll be worse than the worst ghetto in the city, Bexley. But this isn’t a review of the high crime rate in Dublin, this is a review of one of the poshest McDonalds [’s?] in the area. And by «posh», I mean it has a couple plush chairs and a fireplace. It also has a Playland, but remember YOUMUSTWEARSOCKS. No one wants barefoot people running around. I’ve eaten at this McDonalds [’s?] at all hours of the day: super early morning, right at 10:29am before weekday breakfast ends, afternnoon for my McNugget break, and after midnight. Since the dining room is open 24 hours, you can just go in there and relax with a McFlurry, and get on your smartphone or laptop, since they have free wi-fi. Just be warned that if you go in there with the plan to do that at 11pm or later, there will probably be some older gentleman sitting in front of the fireplace, who had the same idea. And he will also be organizing his postcard collection, which he has in a shoebox. What is he doing? Is he taking inventory, and putting them in a spreadsheet? Did he order a Filet-O-Fish? Who orders a Filet-O-Fish when it’s not Lent? I’ve seen this guy multiple times, enjoying his Filet-O-Fish and postcard time… at 12:45am. You may be asking, «What the hell are you doing at McDonalds [’s?] at 12:45am?» I’ll tell you what I’m doing: I’m getting a Sausage McMuffin with Egg. Since this is a late night McDonalds [’s?], they sell a limited breakfast menu starting at midnight. That’s right, you can beat the dreaded 10:30am cutoff time by a full 10 and ½ hours. And let me tell you, those first McMuffins they make at that time, they are THEBEST McMuffins you will ever have. I don’t joke about McMuffins. The midnight McMuffin is how McMuffins were meant to be. But make sure you go at 12am, and not a minute sooner, because the very kind and helpful staff will tell you to come back in a few minutes. Sometimes I do this, because I’m anxious to get my midnight McMuffin. In those cases, I usually just drive around the parking lot, or check out who’s at the IHOP that’s a few hundred feet away. Or you can look at the drunk people at the drive-thru next door at Taco Bell. That line of cars is usually stretching out of the parking lot. I bet those Taco Bell people wish they could lounge in chair in front of a fireplace, eating fast food. People watching at this McDonalds [’s?] is excellent. This location in particular gets a lot of strange traffic. First, it brings out local Dubliners. You know, the ‘mom with kids who just got out of soccer/gymnastics and says the kids have to get apple slices with their Happy Meal, but then the mom splurges on a hot fudge sundae, and the kids complain, and the mom makes up some lie like«Oh, I already had dinner, this is my dessert», when you know for a fact that the mom is actually just having a hot fudge sundae for dinner’-types. But with this location also being on the way to the Columbus Zoo, you get a lot of out-of-towners coming in. These out-of-towners are usually people who live in the boonies of Ohio, and are amazed that a McDonalds [’s?] has a fireplace… and an indoor bathroom. «Look here, Ma, theys got a urinal that dispenses ice!» «Cletus Jr! You be sure to wash your hands after peeing… and use a lot of Diet Coke to soap up your hands, not just one squirt!» Around 9 or 10pm, you’ll also get what I like to call the ‘Dublin Dad Procrastinators.’ These are young fathers who live in the area, and realize that they live a sterile and horrible life, caught in a corporate rat race, shoved in a cubicle, married to a woman with whom they settled, with two kids they reluctantly fathered, thinking that having a family would make them feel like they’re in a family. These men come in, order a coffee, perhaps a McFlurry, and sit. And check their phone every 5 minutes, waiting for a text to come in from their significant other stating«Where are you? I can’t put both of these kids to bed by myself.» Of course, he replies, «Sorry honey, just leaving the office now. I think there’s some accident on 270 or something… be home soon.» He then puts his phone in his pocket, and stares blankly at the Happy Meal toy display, wondering why he didn’t just start that candle business right out of college, or why he didn’t just grab Debra Pinscher by the waist, pull her towards him, and kiss her as long and as passionately as he could that one time right after graduation when they were all alone at Jim’s going away party. This is a good McDonalds [’s?].

You know when you do something stupid, and you think, okay well I just won’t do that anymore. Then, sure enough you end up doing it again? That appropriately sums up my experience with this McDonalds. On a regular basis, when I drive up to the speaker to order, if I say we need just a minute please, we are asked again 30 seconds later«Welcome to McDonald’s. .. » Then, as I try to relay orders from other people in the car I am interrupted by «Anything else?» every 10 seconds.(I had a friend time this.) We regularly try to order ice cream drinks or coffee only to be told that the machines are down for cleaning.(This too would be fair, but the machines can be down for cleaning seemingly anywhere between 8:30 pm and 1:30 am) In general it feels as though the night crew there just doesn’t care.

This is one of the cleanest McDonalds Ive ever been to. I usually hate staying and eating in store but this time I did. They had one side that looked like a traditional McDonalds seating area with the outdated booths, and the other side with tables and couches with a fireplace. McDonalds is trying to change their image and it’s obvious at this location. They want to be more like Starbucks and have people their hanging out; obviously buying more food too. This idea, until now, confused me. Why would anyone want to hang out at a McDonalds? It’s just McDonalds… and unless you’re a child playing in the ball pit you have no business staying & hanging out. With the addition of free Wi-Fi and additives like comfy couches, fireplaces, den like cubbies with extra seating and even bar tables… McDonalds might be on to something. Personally, I really like the old fashioned«classics» look of McDonalds(like the one around the corner) but some day this idea might work for them. As far as their food goes, this place was good. We came for their Monopoly game going on; last year we won $ 50 so now hubby thinks he can get a repeat… Their big mac’s are perfect; plenty of lettuce, just enough ‘special sauce’, and their patties weren’t greasy… and a first… the buns weren’t stale. Tom said their McDoubles were lacking in both flavor & moisture and also were stuck onto a quarter-pounder bun, which is too large and too thick. Their fries were ok, not as soft as I like but also not covered in too much salt. The soda was flat; he tried all of them. We would have told someone if the guy after us didn’t. Something else worth noting… their ball pit… I’ve only ever seen one other epic ball pit in my 24 years and that was in Orlando Florida near Disney. This place makes me wish I were still a child and still ignorant of the germs assoc with a ball pit at a fast food place. If my mom took me here as a kid I would be the happiest little thing! It doesn’t seem like parents do that anymore… I wonder why. Overall, this location seems perfect to me. Good food, nice staff, clean store & clean bathrooms. I can only hope I’ll be back since it’s a bit far from where I live.

I don’t usually eat at McDonalds too often(try not to anyway). This location is close to my work in Dublin, so I ocasionally stop in to pick up breakfast. Never been inside, but as with most McDonalds now days, there are two drive-thru lanes which makes it more convenient on a busy morning(or lunch rush). I’ve only had great experiences here. My order has never been wrong and I’ve always gotten exactly what I’ve ordered. The drive-thru people have always been very polite. You can actually understand what they’re saying through the speaker… and it doesn’t sound like they have a mouth full of marbles. It’s kind’ve a rush when you get the smell of fresh coffee to SMACK you in the face when you pull up to the window. And with their friendly«good morning» and«have a great day,» it’s a good way to start the day! As a former customer service coach, I give kudos to this place for their excellent service! Great job McDonalds!

I think this is probably the nicest McDonalds I’ve ever been in. It has a nice, big indoor playground, wifi, and a nice little lounge with comfortable chairs and a fake fireplace. It even has an outdoor patio. The décor is nice and it’s well air conditioned. The service was excellent as well. We were helped by the manager, a young guy with curly hair. He was very nice and gracious and pleasant to talk to. My son spilled mommy’s coffee and this guy gave her a new one and sent somebody to clean it right away. The wifi was not working and the playground was closed but he had a good explanation for why. When we had a problem with the wifi at the West Broad Mcdonalds, the manager their just said he didn’t know anything about it and walked away. Notice I didn’t take any points away for the two things we came here for being unavailable. I can forgive problems and mistakes. What matters is how you handle them with your customers. Moreso it matters how the rest of your business is. The Mcdonalds on West Broad and Galaxy Games are so bad that I was less forgiving of their problems. It was apparent in those cases no one cared. Or at least it seemed that way. Mcdonalds has changed a lot in recent years. They’ve made it a nice place to hang out or take your kid. The food has improved and they’ve added lots of great things to the menu. My attitude about Mcdonalds has completely changed over the years. I remember when they announced these changes a few years ago. Columbus was the first area to get the renovations and new menu. They’ve pretty much followed through on their promises in most of their locations. P. S. I forgot to take a picture. I’ll add one next time I go back. Oh and the drive through is open 24 hrs so this is a good place to keep in mind for late night.
