Taco Bell

I actually really like Taco Bell food. I’m writing this review based off the fact that they don’t stay open during their business hours. I’m not one of those people who likes to order in the last 5 minutes, because I think it’s kind of a crappy thing to do. When I went in late it wasn’t even that close to closing time.
I went in on Monday around 2, they close at 230 and they said their computers were down and couldn’t take any orders. That’s acceptable.
I went on Wednesday around the same time and they said they were out of basically everything because they had a party. At this point I was suspicious but whatever. Maybe I just picked two bad days of the year.
I went the next day at like 220 or something while they close at 3, and they said their ovens weren’t working. I noticed my friend was working (I think he was working the other days) and I called him out on this. I was like «What the beep is wrong with you guys, you’re supposed to close at 3. Every night something has been wrong.» Then he noticed it was me and had a smile on his face and was laughing and said «HAHAAHAHA. My manager HAHAHAHA told me not serve anyone HAHAHA because he wants to get out as soon as it closes HAHAHA» I didn’t think it was very funny, then I said «Well screw that, I’ve been coming and I want to order food.» Then he said «Well I guess you’re out of luck» then went back and started laughing with the others. I was pretty angry after this, and won’t return here until they make a policy that states they need to take orders up to a specific time. I wouldn’t even be mad if they closed at 1, it’s just the principle behind closing early.

Harumph. This is one of those place I’m positive I reviewed before, maybe a couple years ago. I remember writing about it– the service sucked.
Well, maybe the place has been reincarnated, and that’s why my review is gone. Because from the moment I walked through the door I thought I was in a different location. Service was great, start to finish. Speed, attitude, you name it– it was together. The place has been remodelled, and there are even new menu items, so it was a very different experience.
I got a «chickstar» which is a crunchwrap with crunchy chicken. Being me, I ordered the chipotle one, but didn’t expect much heat. Oh, it was there though. Not a lot, but way more than I’ve ever had at Taco Bell. I also had some nachos, and they were pretty typical. The new Mountain Dew citrus flavor was not to my taste– tasted diety.
I stopped in on a whim, because I was right across the street and in a hurry. I used to avoid this location. Not anymore.

Orders are always wrong. Always. Tacos and chili cheese burritos are extremely small and missing a lot of the actual food inside. Mexican Pizzas are never cut properly and very sloppily put together, different most times. Can not believe the increased prices as well. Sad.

This Taco Bell is exceptional! The cleanest I’ve seen with excellent customer service. Tammy was working the cash register today and was not your typical cashier at a fast food restaurant, she was upbeat, polite and friendly with everyone that came in the door. The food looked exactly as it does in the commercials!

I’m digging this location of Taco Bell
My Doritos nacho tacos are crispy and don’t have that gross soggy thing going on that has been happening at various Taco Bell locations. Not sure what’s up with that but it wasn’t going on here. The staff were smiling and nice as well

Surprisingly, it has to be one of the best fast food places in the area
There are 3 fast food places on the intersection of billingsley and sawmill, a McDonald’s, Wendy’s and of course Taco Bell, I have been to all 3
McDonald’s and Wendy’s both seem to have issues (just read my review for McDonalds) though I have yet to have any issues at Taco Bell

For a Taco Bell, I have had quite a few exceptional experiences with the drive thru at this location. The customer service is unbelievable. Each time I have been to this location has been in the late evening on a weekday or weekend, so it could possibly be just that specific shift. I have never had any problems with my orders either. I do not go often but I am continuously surprised that for the past two years, this level of service has remained the same.
My sister was with me on my most recent trip a few weeks ago, she is an assistant store manager at a large grocery chain and has been working in that business for 11 years. She said that she would hire the male employee (who helped us) on the spot from what she witnessed while in the drive thru.
Keep it up! Taco bell is my favorite fast food, and through the many years of being a customer I have never had such great service as I do with this location!
