Phone number is disconnected. Could not find the location driving by in the plaza at their unit address several times. I’ve called(614) — 555 — 7477 a dozen times and the phone number doesn’t work. So this leads me to believe they are closed.

Their quesadillas are outstanding! Soooo good! They’re very understanding and accommodating of my tomato allergy as well. I love this place! If you’ve never been, it’s like Piada and Chipotle mixed and became less expensive. It’s amazing!

I’ve been here a few times and each time I’ve been its been delicious. The food has been fresh and the staff is always nice and friendly. The first time I went they were a little skimpy on the sides, not sure if that has changed. It’s a good amount of food for the price. I got the doubles layer tacos and it lasted three meals. So far I don’t have any complaints and would recommend if you are looking for a quick and tasty meal. Just don’t compare it to Chipotle.

Even though I love Chipotle but a friend advised to try El Jalapeño. One of the greatest experience I ever had with Mexican food. Its a local version of Chipotle but tastes delicious. They have more and better options for sides and sauces. One of the best thing about El Jalapeño are their bag of chips and melted cheese. One more good thing about this place is that it serves Halal meat. Overall experience was great, it’s little further away from my place but I still find time to go once a week at least.

Very good! Like a chipotle with a local feel. I would prefer chipotle better but they are still good. They have great chips and queso dip.

Nothing shy of amazing! I’ve been here many . way better than Chipotle, and definitely better than Moes. The chicken has such a great flavor. The steak is tender, it just doesn’t have tons of flavor. Anyone I’ve taken here falls in love instantly. I’d highly recommend coming here and getting hardshell chicken tacos wrapped with a soft shell. The girl behind the counter is super nice and helpful. She has an excellent attitude.

Simply the best!!! Haven for vegetarians and they tastemuch better than chipotle. Only thing I would say is they are a little bit reluctant to give a heapful. Like they put scanty amounts of vegetables for veggie bowls. Once they make great profits i hope they change that. Will be going back to this place only if I get an update from the owner that– they have reduced the price Or they have increased the amount served

Things are made fresh, taste delicious and are reasonably priced. Setup very well and has tons of choices and is great even for kids. I have a picky eater and he ate soo much. I love the dessert and slushies.

Great food & fantastic service! Shahin is a terrific host & waitress. I come here at least 2x per month when onsite with a client. Please market aggressively & make some noise in your community so you can grow the business like you deserve to. You have the right people, food & location. John Dillon

El Jalapeño is one of those places where you’ll pull up to the door. contemplate whether or not you should try it… look at the really cheap pictures they have posted in the windows and wonder if you’re making a huge mistake. There is a Yes and No to that question. My experience with El Jalapeño came on a Saturday evening during dinner rush and not a soul was there. We took the chance and we were not terribly disappointed with it. With multiple authentic choices in the area I can see why other can find disappointment in this place. It’s just a run of the mill shuffle up to the counter, tell them the gist of what you’d like(Burrito, quesadilla. etc), Then you pick the ingredients. I ordered a Quesadilla, Jarritos, and skipped the chips, and It was pretty filling to me. It didn’t really break the bank. In fact, I’ve spent way more at Chipotle in the past. Hell, I enjoy Haas just down the road, but last time I was there the husband and I spent almost $ 30 on tacos! Ya, seriously! This place was much cheaper, but you lose the authenticity. The husband got the tamale special and wasn’t too terribly disappointed in it, but it’s probably not the best tamales you’ll ever eat in your life. I’ll gladly give this place some business. It lacked the over crowded hype that Chipotle normally receives. We got in and out for a relatively inexpensive cost and that alone is a great thing for lunch go-ers in the area when Sawmill can sometimes feel like an utter nightmare of traffic and a sea of never ending people fighting during lunch hour. Cutting edge culinary Wow-mazement? No. Quick, semi decent lunch? Yes. Don’t write it off completely! It’s A-OK, Unilocalers.

Just like the chipotle experience, but local. Have had the burrito, quesadilla, salad bowl, and a few other things. I like that they grill the burrito after stuffing it full. Very friendly owner. Great for lunch or a quick/easy dinner. Sitting area has a TV.

We really enjoyed El Jalepeno tonight for dinner. Our family ordered two burrito combos and two bowls. The portions were generous and the salsa was fresh-tasting and delicious. It was similar to Chipotle, but without the line and with a few different choices(like a Mexican rice in addition to the white rice and brown rice, a special sauce, a couple of types of cheese, ground beef). The service was great, too.

If Q’doba is a knockoff of Chipotle, then this place is a knockoff of Q’doba. And a copy of a copy is hardly ever any good. I got a steak buritto which was $ 7.50, I made it a meal which you get a 20oz drink, some chips and a tiny Raising Cane’s size cup of salsa and some cheese dip for $ 2.99 more bringing my total to a little over $ 11 with tax. So that’s my first complaint, it’s way too expensive. I’m glad I didn’t have the kids with me as their kids meals were $ 6.49 and that didn’t include an organic chocolate milk or anything like that. They have fountain drinks, all Pepsi products which is a downer for me. The steak in my burrito lacked any flavor or tenderness. The fajitas were decent, but the salsas were all weak except for the pineapple salsa which was a fresh change and decent. I did like that they grilled my burrito after rolling it, that was kinda cool, but even the shell wasn’t as tasty as Chipotle. This is pretty much fast food. There are plenty of local Mexican restaurants that have way better food at a lot less cost and most of them offer chips and salsa for free. At Los Camperos I walk out after eating more food than here and for about $ 8 – 9 including a tip. I really don’t see myself ever coming back to try anything else here. The one good thing is that the service was excellent. Fast, friendly, helpful, everything you would expect in a restaurant. This is a cursed location too… used to be a Starbucks and then a Graffiti Burger… not sure if this place will make the cut either.

It’s a copy cat of chipotle. Inside business was a tv and what seem to be all there office was out in dining room. That don’t look really good. I felt the steak was not seasoned. I got the bowl version. I only really enjoyed the chips, cheese and salsa.

They have cherry and blueberry SLUSHIES!!! Although they have a bunch of vegetarian options, their steak is insanely tender and their chicken has a great grill/roasted flavor. And a random though, their utensile dispenser is genius haha! Will be back for sure.

My wife and I tried it because we had a coupon. I think this is a great altenative to that«other» popular chain burrito restaurant. The Mexican rice option was nice and I think it helped give my burrito a distinct and enjoyable taste.

Finally… a good and fast mexican place that isn’t a huge chain. We ordered a salad, burrito and a kids meal. Prices are great, food was amazing and their house sause was delicious! Only one thing… maje the cuts of meat smaller. This will he a regular for us!

As I was driving down Sawmill Dr. last week I noticed a new restaurant, El Jalapeño’s. It was lunch time so I went in. I was expecting a sit down type Mexican restaurant, but it turned out to be similar to Chipotle’s, Hot Head Burrito and Piada. You place an order and walk through a line pointing out what ingredients you want. It is a small place, but very nice. I like that two sides are windows so that it is very bright inside with natural lighting. The man in charge is very friendly and engaging, wanting to please his customers. It is spotless clean. A look at the menu is unimpressive. It needs to be redesigned to match the quality of the food. It has pretty much the same offerings as Chipotle. I am not a fan of Chipotle’s. I think they are so popular because they have a huge advertising budget. I loved the food at El Jalapeño. It is very fresh and delicious. I was told that their specialty is quesadilla. I’ve never had a quesadilla like that before. It was stuffed full of ingredients of my choice then pressed in a grill. It was huge — plenty for a whole meal. As I was leaving he was frying up a fresh batch of chips. I asked to taste one. He gave me a whole bag. Those were the best chips I have ever had They were so good that they are great plain without dipping sauces. I went back the next day to take a couple bags of chips to work. The cheese sauce is fantastic. The hot salsa was OK. I definitely recommend going to El Jalapeño for some great food that delights the taste buds.

Nice grill just opened. Vegetarian burrito for me, veggie tacos for my wife, kids quesadillas for the kids. All meals great and priced well. Great little place buried in a strip mall. All fresh veggies and son loved the steak in the quesadilla. Would definitely go again.
