This was our first and last time at Logan’s. The restaurant was empty at 6:30 which should have been a clue. There were 5 adults celebrating my husband’s birthday. 3 of us ordered burgers with beef brisket on top of burger. Husband and daughter ordered steaks. My husband ordered a Sam Adams and waitress came back and said they were out of it. Same for Blue Moon so he got something ordinary. Next she comes over to tell us no baked potatoes so they ordered sweet potatoes. She comes back. No sweet potatoes, no mashed potatoes. What? No potatoes in a steak restaurant? After waiting over an hour, we couldn’t even eat the peanuts because they were stale. Finally got food. The brisket on the burger was disgusting. A pile of little congealed and gristly bits of gross looking meat so I took it off. I figured I’d just eat burger and fries. Nope. Burger ice cold, cheese not melted, no sauce and the fries were stale. Not even edible. Same with the others who got burgers. My daughters ribeye was tough, cold and unappealing and her shrimp skewer were teeny tiny shrimp that looked half cooked. Macaroni and cheese was nasty like something out of a box. Called manager over who was bar tending because bartender called off. He said we wouldn’t have to pay for our meals and to order something else. We ordered an everything salad with grilled chicken on it. 3rd bite. Big hunk of fat. A female manager came out to tell us we have to pay for food we ate. I said no way after 2 hours of torture was I going to pay for the worst food I’ve ever eaten. McDonalds would have been a better choice. I gave the waitress a tip(go find a job at a real restaurant.) worst meal we have ever had anywhere in 65 years. I give this place a negative 5 stars. Save your money. Don’t go there.

Logan’s Roadhouse, Sawmill Road, Columbus This is a corporate site and a disgusting food environment. Saturday night, May 21, 2016, I went in with 3 other adults for dinner about 730 p.m. Server was on-target but he had to just feel like a snail when he could do nothing to ease the horrendous food experience. Nothing! Not one bit of food was edible. APPETIZERS…A plate consisting of pimento cheese bites(cold and greasy); loaded baked potato boats(so hard, cold, unappealing(they went unbeaten because you couldn’t bite through them or digest); wings of some sort(cold, no flavor) MEALS…2 ordered a gravy covered battered chicken with one arriving much later than all other food, sent it back and the same mess came back to the table after it had been dumped back into the fryer…(burned black, cold, couldn’t cut through but I tried and tried tasting it, a cold burned grease mess on a plate). NYSTRIP… initial cut looked appropriate for medium rare. Couldn’t chew it was so tough, no flavor. The baked sweet potato is so hard to describe as it seemed to have been baked at noon and left in the oven where it became a nasty hockey puck The poor server. Who wants too bust their butt on the floor when the kitchen ruins food and you take the crap. I wouldn’t work there. Even three liquor specialty drinks took so long getting there. Salads had been served before they got there. The restaurant wss almost empty but the bar just didn’t make the drinks… we learned the server made them himself so we’d have drinks. THISWAS A PITIFULPLACETOOBE. Kristal, the manager, came out eventually because I kept asking for the manager. She’s a sad state. She complained about her children, her hours, the crew that won’t work, many supper changes… NOTONCEDIDSHEJUSTSHUTUP, MAKEOURNIGHTACCEPTABLEANDGOKICKASS. She was full of excuses and it’ll take time reasoning. She should have just given us our evening free. She saw our plates full of uneaten meals. She reduced cost but it was easier to just leave than talk rationally in that situation. HOWCAN A CORPORATESTOREGETBYWITHTHIS? Enough of my tirade. I have nothing good too day about this experience. The server was caught between the manager/kitchen mess and his table of 4 adults. I felt saddened for him. It was a Saturday night and he’s trying to make a living and in that environment it would not be easy or fun.

Steak was rare… ordered medium. Sent it back. They brought back they same piece of meat that was now well … Wth !!! Waiter asked us to cut into our steaks to starts with so I made the motion of cutting with my hands as we had no silverware … Another steak we got was ordered medium well and was medium rare … Waiter didn’t even comp the steak one penny due to it not being done properly … Stay away

The food was good(served hot and just as we ordered) and the waitstaff was friendly. We went at 6p on a Saturday and there was no wait for a table. The drinks were questionable; avoid their flavored teas — waaaay too sweet! Other than the drinks, we had no complaints.

We have been here three times. The first time we had pretty good food and service. The second time food was good but service was abysmal. Our third trip was this evening and we ended up walking out because the experience was so bad. We arrived and were told it would be a 25 minute wait. We had no issue as it was just two of us and the place was half empty. 45 minutes later, the hostess finally seated us after my wife went up to complain about how long we had been waiting. The hostess was rude when we commented on the unusually long wait to seat two people in a restaurant that was half empty. The waiter that came to the table had no customer service skills and was also rude. Through the whole experience we did not see a manager walking around or doing anything to make sure the staff of young kids were properly positioned or doing their jobs. Much of the time three people at the hostess stand chatting with one another. This place could be good but had a serious management problem. I would suggest finding another option until such a time that this one can get their act together.

Great family place. Love the moonshine chicken. Good server made up for rude hostess.

Saturday night. I had to have a good steak. I’d been to the other Logan’s at Easton and it wasn’t too bad so my family of 5 tried this Dublin location. Arrived at 7:40pm and was told it would be 30 minutes so it was worth waiting… or so I thought. Had four groups in front of us, two families of 4 each with very young kids, a family of 5 and an older couple. Most had already been there 15 – 20 minutes ahead of us. You would have thought this night would be easy because the place looked well staffed and over half of the tables were empty. Although many large tables and couples left, it was still 45 minutes before the families ahead of us were taken to their tables(although tables of 6 and 4 sat empty for a long time). I really felt for those two couples with their infants and young kids. 2 – 3 hostesses were working the front desk but they seemed inept and didn’t have a clue how to seat people. Servers were constantly coming up to the desk telling them how many tables they could take. Bus boys took as much as 15 – 25 minutes to clean dirty tables(considering how many times they walked past waiting customers to walk around outside the restaurant for awhile). There was no visible manager in sight. probably back in the kitchen getting dishes out because they seemingly had trouble getting food out to the tables for what customers they had. Finally got seated 75 minutes after we first checked in(mind you, half of the tables in the restaurant remained empty the entire time we were there). Finally got my steak, some fried shrimp, baked potato and mushrooms on a skewer. Good news. Our ribeye and filet minon steaks were decent and cooked OK. Although I warned my daughter about ordering chili, she couldn’t eat it — it was nearly cold when she tried it. Otherwise, our server Jacque provided us with very good service and plenty of refills. So food-wise we were satisfied for the most part. Bad news. The peanuts in their pails on the tables were not refreshed. Many pails were filled with empty shells. No attention to this detail. If you’re going to offer peanuts in the shell, the servers should make sure that fresh peanuts are available for the next customer. I kept thinking how inefficient this restaurant was… staffed with plenty of people running around but seemingly had the capacity to only service half of the available tables in the restaurant. Made no sense. How much money was lost tonight and in the future because of poor hostesses and not seating tables that sat empty(people remember their negative experiences 10 times more than their good experiences). Wouldn’t want to be the owner of this franchise.

If I could give this place zero stars I would have!!! I’ve been to different Logan’s restaurants in different states and this one has by far the WORST service ever. The restaurant was practically empty and I think the hostess was a bit jealous of myself and my daughter because she TRIED to seat us at the worse table possible despite the restaurant being almost empty. She copped an attitude when we asked to be moved to a different table once we saw the seats that she selected for us. Our server was terrible also. She spent so much time talking and playing that our food and drinks took forever. I asked for extra napkins and never got them. If ever I find myself back in this area this place most definitely WON’T be a place I go!

Do not eat here! The service is horrible & the food is not much better. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Waited over an hour for fried mushrooms & a steak on a very slow night. That might be the reason there are so many empty tables.

I’ve gone to pretty much every restaurant along my drive to work, so I might as well try this. Of course, by that logic there’s a couple of Frisch’s to try, so we’ll see– I’m sure there’s a reason I haven’t been to one of those in 30 years. I avoided Logan’s for awhile because some friends had a bad experience at another location, and there wasn’t any particular reason to go to yet another chain. And I looked at the reviews on here, and was very hesitant. But then I saw that they have ribs… It’s a nice spot, kind of in a maze behind Sawmill but not too hard to get to. The building is fine, inside and out. Service was very good– quick, friendly, there when I needed her. Of course I went mid-afternoon so they weren’t busy. Prices are a bit high for what you get, but not crazy. And what did I get? Ribs, of course. In a combo with steak. The ribs… were not that good. As expected, they were bland, chainy ribs. «Fall off the bone,» but no flavor at all in the meat, probably finished on a grill and with a drizzle of generic sauce. Meh. The steak was decent, but not great. Undercooked for my requested medium, but I’m fine with that. Yet still somehow tough. It was saved by the«brewski style» onions. Sauteed onions underneath, fried onions on top; how can you go wrong? The Caesar salad with it was pretty good, as was the asparagus. They bring generic rolls, and peanuts, to the table. I also had a cup of chili: hearty, a bit spicy, good enough but not very interesting. All in all, not a bad meal, just not a memorable one or one that makes me want to go back. Very typical chain highway restaurant food. Oh, well. I didn’t expect more.

Yep… I went back to this place. Left hungry. Should have listened to my own review. My steak was not edible and butchered(not in the good way that a steak should be).

I had dinner here last month. My husband found a small piece of plastic in his salad. I had a view into the kitchen and witnessed a bearded man licking his fingers(literally all 10 of them, repeatedly) while placing a rack of ribs into a to-go container. I mentally gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed he was boxing up his own dinner to take home with him, but no, he proceeded to keep checking tickets and adding containers to takeout bags. I’ve never thought Logan’s was that great, but this was disgusting and I will not be returning.

The best service we’ve ever received! From the moment my husband and I walked in the door we received great service. The hostesses were quick to get to us, aware and trying to make us as comfortable as possible(I’m 39 weeks pregnant). Our server, Jeff, was very friendly and very hospitable(not to mention honest about his favorites on the menu), like we had been friends for years. Will be back again mainly due to the service.

I’ve been here twice. I recall the first time being«meh» — but this time, I popped in with a date for a late lunch. The service was good — the steak, was not bad. She loved her barrel steak, and the sides were all really good. When I think«steakhouse» I don’t think Logan’s Roadhouse, and while I haven’t tried all their cuts, I was less impressed with their strip. If I’m craving steak(and I have none at home, and it’s lunch time) I could see myself popping in again.

Pretty decent chain steakhouse style food here. I haven’t had the steak, only a chicken sandwich and fries. I liked the free peanuts and hot fresh rolls as a starter, they were both good. The chicken was well cooked and seasoned, as well as the fries. Nothing spectacular, but about what I was expecting. My friend had a big plate of nachos which looked appealing. The server was super nice and attentive as well as accommodating. Not much more to say, other than Logan’s would be good in a pinch for lunch or if you are looking to please a large group of people, but there are better options out there.

The food is good when you can get it. Having said that it isn’t good enough to put up with the frustration of going there. This is the second time I have gone there and they not have Prime Rib. Note, they serve Prime Rib Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s after 4:00. I ordered it on Sunday at 4:02 and they were out. They also had no Ranch dressing which seems like a staple that they would have. To top it off they didn’t bring our appetizers. To be clear I won’t be back. Pretty much any other steakhouse would have similar food quality without the frustration.

I had the mesquite grilled salmon. It was okay: moist, flaky, and not overcooked. The serving size was smallish, and it didn’t have much of a mesquite grill flavor. The initial greet after being seated was a little slow, but everything after that wasn’t bad. The server was nice, but was a bit rigid. She was polite, but she wasn’t very charismatic.

Logan’s is like purgatory, not awful not amazing. We tried a range of foods from fish and shrimp to steak with the seafood being the better of the two. My wife’s steak was a 2 out of 10 because it was very low quality but cooked correctly. I will say that our server was great and very nice. She is the reason I give it 3 stars instead of 2.

I’ve been to the one at Easton and had great food. This location was not as good. I got the filet and lobster. The filet did not taste all that fresh and the lobster didn’t quite taste as fresh either. Maybe it was a onetime thing, but i’ll second guess this location. Service was really what got them 3 instead of 1 star.
