Number One Nails

#1 Nails is a nail salon that I used to see from the dirty windows of the glorious #2 bus on my way to OSU. With book buy back cash in my hands I walked in one day to see if it could live up to its name. The salon features high security. Translation; the door is locked due to owners paranoia of High street’s less salon minded traffic flow. Once inside however the atmosphere is calm and quiet. It is not rare to be the only customer, which means you get all the attention. The price of a spa pedicure is under thirty dollars and the manager lets you pick a movie to watch from his collection of VHS classics. Together we watched The Accused and applauded Jodie Foster’s bravery while picking out summer colors. Number One nails is number one in my book for value, and eighties movie trivia.
