If you are craving good pizza or pastas Panzera’s is the place to go. My boyfriend and I ordered Manacotti, cheesey bread and pizza and it was outstanding. The pizza has a great crunch, delivery guy was very polite and it was a lot of food for the little price to pay. We will definitely order again. Try it

Awful. Pizza: Like eating cardboard with an ultra thin layer of sauce. Italian Sub: If it was in the oven for 10 seconds, I would be shocked. I would rather put a Kroger brand frozen pie in the oven before I would order from this place again. Incredibly disappointing.

Panzera’s Pizza is a modest pizza joint in the heart of Grandview. I was introduced to it many years ago, and it has held up over time as a solid pie choice. We stopped in right when they opened on a Friday evening and got a medium Crowd Pleaser — pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and banana pepper. Note: everything about Panzera’s pizza is made to show off their fresh toppings, so pile them on. They cook those toppings well, yet the thin crust manages to remain cracker-crisp yet unburned. The sauce is thin, tomato-y and wants pepper — add it on top of the slices and it works out fine. A medium will feed two people. It’s outdoor seating only, but the patio is covered they’ll bring your food to you when it’s ready. Definitely A-OK.

Stauf’s kitchen was closed so we went down the street for pizza and got a small Crowd Pleaser – delicious! Thin, crunchy crust and toppings all the way to the edge! We’ll definitely be coming back for a quick lunch option!

Where is the flavor? We got an extra large pepperoni thick crust, rigatoni dinner and cheese bread. I’m not sure any salt was used in any of the food ordered. Not to beat down on this place but there was little to no flavor in the entire meal. The pizza crust had good texture but the sauce was bland. The pasta was watery and the meatball was probably frozen at one point. With all of the great places in Grandview to choose from, I won’t be returning to this restaurant again.

The Crowd Pleaser is a revelation: earthy mushrooms, bright green peppers, savory pepperoni, and tangy banana peppers. It’s a genius combination. The pepperoni are the key, as they use the quarter-sized variety which acquire a slight char on the edge… mmm, perfect. I agree with some other reviewers that the sauce is rather bland, so your overall enjoyment may stand on your choice of toppings. However, Panzera’s achieves a harmonious balance between all four elements of the pizza, which is a pretty rare thing. The crust is thin and very crispy, not my usual jam, but a nice change of pace for a guy who is used to the two dominant Chicago styles. If you go with a group, the thin crust and grid-sliced format make it easy to order several types and share. Three quick notes: — No oregano on the tables — No indoor seating, just a patio — Bottled and canned drinks only. This is fine, except that Panzera’s provides no recycling bin, only trash. For shame! Solid 3.5 stars.

Bad service worse food. We ordered a large pizza, cheese bread, and rigatoni for delivery. The girl on the phone was rude and clearly hated her life. The pizza was had no flavor, although the thick crust was cooked well. The cheesy bread was barely cooked and was literally just a melted piece of cheese on top of warm soggy bread. The rigatoni dinner was frankly unacceptable. The pasta was so overcooked it was falling apart, the pasta was clearly a box of store-bought $ 1 rigatoni noodles, and it was completely flavorless. They literally just over-boiled some store bought noodles and dumped some sauce on it. They didn’t even bother to bake it or add cheese. Will not be returning and would NOT recommend.

Sweet sauce. The pepperonis cup. Spicy, crumbled sausage. Solid rectangular cut pizza with a tasty cracker-y crust. Never disappoints.

If you’re in the Grandview area and want some pizza, Panzera’s is definitely an A-OK option. I’ve only ever had delivery adn they have always shown up when they said they would and my order has always been correct — two very important things when it comes to delivery. The«Crowd Pleaser» is our fave and comes with pepperoni, mushroom, banana pepper, and onion(around $ 19 for a large). Panzera’s crust is thin and cracker-like, which is a nice change of pace sometimes. They cut their pies into squares, so if you’re not into that, now you know. We also always get the«Garlic Loaf with Cheese»($ 3.25) because when do you ever get pizza without cheesy garlic bread? I know not. Theirs is truly just ok, it comes on a sub bun, isn’t overly toasted(no crunchy cheese bits or browning at all, really) and last time we ordered it did not come with a marinara for dipping. Sad face. We keep Panzera’s in our delivery rotation because it hits the spot every now and then. Bonus, they often offer coupons through the Grandview Saver mailer.

We decided to go back to Panzera’s in UA, a favorite of ours from the past after getting awful pizzas from two other established UA places. We had a perfect pizza tonight from Panzera’s, served by a friendly guy who cares about customer service and serving great pizza. If you are looking for delicious pizza and like to support small businesses instead of those huge pizza chains, Panzera’s of UA is the place to go. Other reviews mentioned parking problems, but they have parking places clearly marked for Panzera’s less than five feet from the door!

This is an old school classic pizza shop that has plastic chairs and tables and beer. No frills but make no mistake: they have the best pizza in town and have been the best for 50 years.

Not sure about the bad reviews on here. A lot of emotional drama that has nothing to do with the pizza. I went this week for the first time in years. The pizza is very good. Had a few meatballs as appetizers. They were the bomb as well. The marina sauce was tasty enough to pick up the bowl, tilt the head posterior and slurp down the rest of the sauce. Which, of course, is appropriate since this is a plastic chair and plastic table cloth joint. If you really like pizza and don’t get caught up on the type of chairs you sit on to eat it, you will not be disappointed. This is one of the best pizza places in Columbus. Oh, and the owners is a really nice guy. Who doesn’t want to support a local business that cares about the quality of their product and treats their customers with respect?.

Great thin crust pick up pizza! Similar to Donatos. The pepperoni is very crusty and delicious.

I used to say that the Grandview area was pizza central for the Columbus metro area. Panzera’s, Rotolo’s, Leonardo’s and Tommy’s were the big names to be reckoned with. These folks sure knew their stuff and set the bar high for other pizza places. Fast forward many, many years, and it’s the same people working here. Mr. Lombardi working the register and his son, I think, working along side of him. Felt like I’d stepped back in time for a moment. It’s been a long time since my last visit as I remember the last time I got a large pepperoni pizza for about $ 11 or so. Today? a medium veg for almost $ 15.75…so it’s been a while. It hasn’t changed much. Theirs is a thin cracker crust pizza with a decent amount of toppings, baked just right. Decent flavor, crispy crust with that edge that crunches in your mouth. It’s still as good as I remember it. I’m going back again.

A go-to pizza place in Grandview. The pizza is solid and consistently good. It’s never overcooked or burnt.

I really wanted to love this place but there was too many other good joints to say this was fantasic. I will say this pizza had a nice thin/crispy crust and very cheesy. Again — only in Grandview– the pizza had a smokey flavor going on. Again, I want to love it but not a huge fan.

The wife and I hit up Panzera’s this week. Panzera’s does not offer a lot of seating in the dead of winter, but I can see how it would be a great place to patio it up in the spring and summer with a pizza and beer(since few people dine in during the winter, the beer selection appeared to be what was left over from the warmer seasons(i.e. the old Silver Bullet)). Panzera’s serves up an Ohio rectangular-cut pie. Unlike many Ohio pizzas, you do get a little hilt of crust to hang onto around the edge. The crust itself, by the rim, is thin and VERY crispy. No chewiness or large air pockets here and your conversation may be hindered by the loud crunching sounds of your dining companions as they hit the rim. We ordered up our normal pep and shroom. The pepperoni was nice and cupped with a spicy zing and great flavor. The amount of cheese was perfect, and it was spread partly over the toppings(leaving the toppings to poke through, and the pepperoni to curl up). The pizza was too light on sauce for my liking, but was otherwise very good. Having recently delved into side dishes with our pizza, we also ordered up two meatballs. They were nicely seasoned and fairly large(a good value for $ 1.50). While they came with tons of sauce, I found the sauce to be a little bland for my tastes(I like the Batman, «Zing, Pow, Bam» type sauces). Overall, Panzera’s is a great local establishment that serves up a very nice thin crust pizza — a solid three stars.

I’m in a mission to step out of my comfort zone(aka Dewey’s) and try several of the pizza shops UA and Grandview provide. If you’re looking for a good ol’ traditional thin crust pizza, Panzera’s will meet your expectations. I tried the Crowd Pleaser pizza(pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, banana peppers,) and it was pretty darn good. Service was quick, and pricing was reasonable, too. Check it out!
