Service was terrible. Waited an hour for food, which ended up being terrible anyway. Since by that point we asked for the food to go, we didnt check the bags until we were at my friend’s place. Turns out they had forgot half of my order. A friend spoke to the manager who didnt care at all about our experience and wanted to know if we were still going to pay. The owner ended up comping her meal. Don’t recommend at all.

Texas Fajitas were Very bland and tasteless. Was expecting a sizzling plate of meat, but instead received a few simple strips of warm chicken, beef and a few pieces of shrimp with a lot of onions and green peppers, Definitely not what a Fajita should be!
The salsa was watery and lacked flavor.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Columbus. Their red sauce is AMAZING! Casual friendly place with good food and super fast lunch service. The margaritas are pretty damn good too!

They just completed some new renovations inside and outside which makes if look phenominal! Their margaritas are great. I typically order the beerita which has a corona inside the margarita.
I have been coming to this place for a few years now and still see the same faces. Very kind and attentive service. Ive had fajitas, which are excellent. salsa is on point and chips are never stale! Located on corner of cleveland ave and corporate exchange intersection right next to the McDonalds. Awesome atmosphere and i just cant help but dance along to the music.

Food atmosphere and people are great love coming here bean dip is amazing food came out super fast as well which is always nice only problem is the server didn’t seem to happy with his job

A friend suggested this restaurant because they have a private area, the food was great, and I host a lot of events. So I hosted a meeting for a not for profit organization there yesterday. Upon entering I loved the décor. However, after seating I had to wait ten minutes for a waitress to take my order. I asked her to give me a moment to look at the menu. I tried to get her attention because it had been twenty minutes but she said she had to help other people & walked away saying other stuff under her breath. By this time others had joined the meeting & witnessed this rudeness. she finally came back twenty minutes later and said «are you ready to order now» in a very sarcastic tone. I simple asked to speak to one, because I was in a meeting and couldn’t deal with a rude waitress and appear unprofessional. She said there was none on duty. However, I asked another waitress and the manager came over who in her defense said she is stressful out because she has a lot of tables with no apology. Myself and another person attending the meeting were given the opportunity to order any food. Being a wedding & event planner of over seven years you can imagine the recommendations for venues & restaurants. So as you can assume, I will never step food in this establishment nor recommend this restaurant to any friends, family or potential clients.

This place was great! Very clean, very friendly staff, quick service, and really good food!!!

Party of 6 with a variety of choices. Service was slow. We asked for hot sauce 4 times before the waiter remembered. Tortilla soup was delicious

Our favorite Mexican around! The service is great, the staff is fantastic! Although we have our ‘usual’ order (house margaritas, nachos, guacamole, and extra jalapeños) we are never disappointed if we order something new. Highly recommend!

This was my first time here, I went with some friends that frequent the place. I was excellent, I was highly impressed with how out together the mene was. Some Mexican places have a terrible menu and poor quality. Not this place, they had an extensive menu full or pictures and prices! Not to mention drinks. A margarita is always my go to, they seem to be heavy with the tequila there! No Complaints on my end! It was great. I’ll defiantly return.

Ok yup another Mexican place. Not my idea but my friends so I say okay I’ll meet you there. I order the lunch special #6 which is the chicken chimichanga lol. I’m thinking chips and salsa. Ok if you like your salsa pulverized this is your place. I really don’t like it like that. It’s an average Mexican place that has great service but nothing that gives me that wow factor. Um if I never came back I’d be okay.

Friends came in town and of course my other friends wanna take them here. So far server is great, although if the salsa was anymore runnier I’d be chasing after it, lol. My dude just ordered guacamole dip and it is damn good. I ordered the shrimp fajitas & no! I’m just going to be nice and shut my mouth and not crucify this place! Great service, our server was awesome :-) the food however isn’t that good, I’m sorry. I’m sure this place would be awesome to come out and drink some margaritas…

Good family atmosphere. The service was very fast and the server was friendly. We ordered one of the house specialty the «Carnitas» it was very good! definitely the best by far we been served in the nearby area.
We plan on going back to try some more of their dishes. I would recommend

Best chicken fajitas in town. Very nice staff. This is where I prefer to go if I am going close to home. Better than the other places nearby for sure.

I have found my favorite Mexican restaurant! Love the environment. …very bright, clean, and welcoming. Staff is very nice and very quick with service. I got the #14 lunch special… it was fantastic! Boyfriend got the lunch fajitas loaded with no peppers, tomatoes or Pico… the order was correct the first time and he said it was very good. He said what he would of liked better is if it was brought out in a sizzling hot skillet. The music was so upbeat and kept you moving in your seat. We will be back and I would love to bring friends to enjoy with us.

After repeated failures to get Mexican food that was anything but terrible (El Vaquero, I’m looking in your direction) since we left San Diego my expectations for Rancho Alegre were pretty low, to be honest. Our neighbors love the place, though, so we figured we’d give it a chance. We hadn’t even sat down when one of the servers asked if she could hold the baby (of course you can, my arms are constantly tired,) at which point we talked about kids for a while, like we were old friends. The service was like this for our whole visit; super friendly, super fast, and more like family than the staff at some rando Mexican joint inside the beltway in the capital city of a flyover state. We enjoyed the food as well, though I’d skip the tamales and stick with the burritos or chimichangas. We will be back soon. Thank you Rancho Alegre, for finally letting us have some good Mexican food.

Solid Tex-​Mexican cuisine. Everyone at our table of six enjoyed their meals. The salsa was good with a little fresh cilantro. I very much enjoyed my chicken and rice soup. Better than my homemade.

I ordered the Lunch Special #14: Green Burrito
The bar area has 6 pretty good sized TVs, mostly tuned to sports.
The complimentary chips and salsa were not bad. Neither seemed made in house.
Service was very fast, but please note I am one of 3 patrons in the restaurant at the time.
The rice was really great! Not over cooked, and seasoned perfectly. Rice is a good indicator of the whole shebang in this reviewers opinion.
The guacamole salad was very nice. Thick slice of fresh tomato, the shredded lettuce was also fresh and crisp. The guacamole itself was a little bland, but not off putting. Ask for a wedge of lime for a fix.
The green burrito, was not as green as the picture in the menu. This is a disappointment as I really love a good verde salsa. It was a perfect size to complete the meal. The pork was excellent, and the onions and peppers were nice and crunchy without being under-​cooked.
All-​in-​all, I feel it was a lunch well worth the price.

I go here quite often with my co-​workers. After we have had a rough day, we make a trip here for some margaritas and chips and salsa.
Every time I visit here, I have a good experience. Everyone is alert, friendly and always on top of it service wise. We are never stranded, waiting for service, etc. and the place is always clean.
They have great margaritas and their food is good as well. It’s your typical Mexican Restaurant (El Vaquero, etc.). I feel most of the food at places like this taste very similar. It’s what you go for, and they have it!
We always have a good time here, just waiting for one of those rough days to come along to make another visit!
