On jury duty in Martinez so thought I’d try this cute little restaurant located a couple of blocks from the courthouse. One morning I had chicken fried steak and it was very good, crispy & tender and only $ 6.95! What a deal. The next day I had a «healthy scramble» with eggs, spinach, tomato & mushrooms, way too much oil used. It gave the eggs an off taste. The hash browns leave much to be desired and the margarine on toast or oil wrecked the toast. Overall a cozy warm atmosphere, weak coffee, decent food but would not make a special trip to eat here.
