We’ve been 5 times to pick up orders to go and they’ve forgotten to put cheese on my sandwich EVERY single one of those trips. Everyone’s order consistently has something missing from it.

Jimmy Johns is a Tier up from Subway. It’s not your 5 star sandwich deli. Sandwiches are pretty bland and lacks meat. You can always add«double meat» for an additional fee but I know there are delis out there that don’t require more meat. Delivery is a hit or miss. They do come at their scheduled times but there are instances when they do forget to deliver add ons such as chips and/or drinks. Eh, If you’re craving a sandwich and want to settle for less and take a risk, this is the place.

I would like to take away a star for the lack of greens they put on my gargantuan the other day. It looked like the oversized slab of sandwich meat was drop on the floor on a busy day and a couple strands of shredded lettuce stuck to it. I swear it looked like the garden fell off of my meat. The problem was that a rookie made the sandwich with a roll that was too small. You can’t call it a gargantuan if you put it on the runt of the roll selection and consequently can’t fit the veggies on after the protein. I’m working on letting things go. With that said, I’m adding a star back for the freaky fast delivery service. It takes 12 minutes from the email confirmation for the sandwich to be made and shot out of a cannon landing down oak Grove, just short of monument. Maybe they use a flux capacitor mod on their jimmy johns delorian. I just don’t know. But I’ve timed this freak of nature occurrence dozens of times by now, and can barely get the math to work. Impressive… very impressive. Astonishing considering how consistent their performance is. We put a man on the moon, harnessed the power of the atom, put bacon on a maple bar… And now this. The only way it could get any freakier would be if the sandwich girl showed up at my door in the buff. I love you by the way. Jimmy John’s is like any complicated relationship. Can’t live with it, can’t live without it. It fits too well with my anti forage-for-food lifestyle. 2 stars for the food, 5+ for the delivery. Make it a 3.5+ Keep up the great effort.

Tried the country club the other day, it was delicious, I was skeptical at first because the sandwich didn’t come with much produce on it, but after tasting it I realized there was no need. The bread was fresh and soft and tasty, they didn’t put too much mayo or lettuce, and it had tons of meat. I was not hungry at all when I was finished. Wish it was a little less pricey but that’s not the fault of the store or its workers. Thanks guys!

Basic, unremarkable and rather bland sub. Hate to say it, but we would’ve been better off going to Subway across the street. If a TOGO’s opens anywhere nearby, I doubt this place would survive.

Just ate Jimmy’s Johnson and I wish it was a real johnson now after eating this absolute filthy pig pen food. I wouldn’t feed this to a cockroach. It’s not worth it, you know the saying if it’s too good to be true it probably is, well in this case when I saw the $ 5 sign for a sandwich I should have done a 180 immediately and walked back to Chipotle.

Just finished my first bite — and am already sitting or should I say shitting on the toilet… the most disgusting piece of trash wrapped in used underwear I have ever eaten… it’s sub-subway. This place is a rotten filth pile do not eat here … I’m not joking, if I could post the picture of what they handed to me as a sandwich I would, but I’m scared that the internet police may think its too graphic for general consumption. I am not joking at all this place is a garbage dump with complete disregard for anything that slightly resembles food — you know that hesitation that you had before walking in? Listen to that — go to chipotle — even with the e coli, its better.

I was SO incredibly excited when I found out that Jimmy John’s is now in the Bay Area! Beach Club, Turkey Tom and the Italian are amazing! What’s also great is that if you’re gluten-free, going paleo, reducing carbs or whatever you can always order an Un-wich and get it bread free! Only downside(which they can’t really control) is that since they get all their ingredients local, they don’t have any sprouts due to the fact that there was an outbreak years ago with sprouts. Regardless, it’s still a pretty awesome sandwich!

This is a great little sandwich shop with from the workers and good sandwiches. I’ve been here twice and both times I’ve got the ultimate porker. I have added provolone on each time, and got my sandwiches on French Bread. I’ve also got the sandwich delivered to me from Jimmy John’s and it was at my door in about 15 minutes very impressive. The sandwich it’s always been very good the lettuce and tomatoes and I seem very fresh and the meat is also pretty good. I really did enjoy all of the sandwiches I have eaten from here. Like I said the workers are very friendly and every time that I have walked in the store I have been greeted with a hello and I haven’t had to wait more than 30 seconds to give them my order.

I used live in midwest that have Jimmy John’s around. We always stopped by grab sandwiches and chips with refresh drink! Jimmy John’s is expanding its business to westward including Nevada, and here in California! My favorite choice at Jimmy John’s would be #7 Vito, Italian type sandwich. The sandwich’s sub bread are much better than others include Subway too! Also I love to taste JJ sandwich’s smoked cheese, and cold cut meat too! JJ offering their variety of potato chips here! Friendly young people working here that made JJ awesome as well as their bomb tasty submarine sandwiches!

Jimmy John’s is your typical sandwich shop –they just make a tasty sandwich. If you are looking for a sandwich that is stacked high with adventerous toppings look elsewhere. Come to Jimmy John’s for a sandwich that tastes like you made it at home. They do tend to lather on the mayo, so if you aren’t a huge fan, ask for ‘easy mayo’. They are next to a Chipotle which seems to be the hit spot of the shopping center– on the plus side it means you will not be waiting long for your food. The staff has always been friendly and the restaurant is filled with fun decorations.

Not bad for a quick lunch on Sunday. Just under $ 10 for a «big john» eight inch roast beef sandwich with chips and bottled water. The bread is pretty good and beef as well but the lettuce is just your run of the mill shredded stuff. I still think it beats Subway. The place was clean and a worker was sweeping the floor at the time I was present, around 2 in the afternoon. At least they are keeping up appearances.

If you have been to Jimmy John’s before, you know exactly what you are getting. An awesome sandwich that is made while you are still placing your order! If you have not been here before, JJ’s is 1000x better than Subway or Quiznos and 100x better than the sandwiches you get a Kinders. My favorites are the Italian Night Club and Vito(double meat). If you are mayo sensitive, you need to make sure that you tell them no mayo. Even light mayo is a lot of mayo. What did I learn today? There is a new JJ’s being built in Concord on Concord Ave across from Buchanan Airfield.

So simple and delicious. I am so happy that they have a JJ’s in the East Bay! The bread is always fresh and light! Also, the veggies they use are delicious and the meat is always tasty!

Second time having a sandwich from there and it was really good! I’ve got to say, when I first tried them the sandwich looked very disappointing but it tasted so good! I got the turkey avocado with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and hot peppers. No mustard. This definitely isn’t a subway or togos or an old deli but I actually enjoy the taste and the bread is freaking amazing I love the white bread roll. They do put a good amount of mayo so just tell them to put light mayo! I would try it with no expectations that it’s going to be like anything you’re already used to so you won’t be disappointed.

So I went here thinking it would be the old sandwich place. Unfortunately it’s not. But I figured they look cool, I’ll try it. First of all, they have 2 kinds of bread, wheat and a roll. That’s it. Oh, and a lettuce wrap. Only one kind of cheese, Provolone. And No hold subs. So I first asked about the menu. I asked about the quantity of meat since they basically have a «reg sub» side and a «giant sub» side(meaning extra meat/cheese). So I just wanted to know about how much meat is «giant». The guy said it’s a lot of meat. Great ok. So I order the Club Lulu off the giant sandwich side of the menu and asked them to go easy on the turkey and put more bacon since the sandwich has both meats and I prefer more of a blt than a club. ANYWAYS I get the sub, go back to work and see that I basically have a lettuce sub with 3 pieces of cold bacon, a slice of turkey, and a tomato on this thick ass loaf of bread. –_– definitely not going back.

Tried two sandwiches today. Billy Club: Roast beef, smoked ham and provolone.(Bread looks and feels cheap. Flavor of meats don’t come through. Too much mayo. Every bite made it harder to hold my sandwich as it quickly fell apart.) Vito: Italian meat combo on wheat slice bread. Meats had no flavor. No flavor from oil/vinegar. My wife described the bread as «blah». Pros: crushed ice for drinks and the chip bags were full of chips instead of air. Not really into these type sandwich shops because we’re into fresh Italian deli style sandwiches. It’s sad but I feel Subway and Togo’s have better sandwiches. If we’re looking for a good sandwich we will stick to our favorite on Clayton — Luigi’s! Hands down best in Contra Costa

Average at best, definitely not gourmet. My friends and I stopped by Jimmy John’s to grab something to eat on a sunny Saturday a few weeks ago after a morning of shooting at a gun range nearby. We got there just a little after noon and the place was packed with little leaguers and their parents. To Jimmy John’s credit, they moved the line swiftly. We quickly placed our order and I got the Bootlegger Club Sandwich(roast beef, turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, & mayo), a bag of chips, and a fountain drink. Five minutes later, we got our food and chow is on. It was definitely fast. The sandwich was hardly gourmet. The bread was not as soft as I thought it would be. The large amount of shredded lettuce and tomato covered whatever taste the few slices of roast beef and turkey had. The sandwich and the bag of chips did their job of filling my belly up, but it didn’t register as something that I want on a regular basis. It was so forgettable that I waited a few weeks before writing this post. The meal cost $ 12, which was not a huge amount. But for me, I much rather go to Morucci’s in Walnut Creek where I can get a much better sandwich for less. I will only go back to Jimmy John’s on a food emergency basis.

Everyone in here was dressed in black so i was on the lookout for aliens. didn’t see any. probably behind the screened counter where u can’t see how the sammies are made. menu: options based on size: slim(4.59). 8″(5.79) giant club(8.79?) –sounds phallic, is the giant club the one to suck down? eats: vito, 8″(5.79) -«genoa salami(2), capicola(2), provolone(1), tomato, red onions, lettuce, tasty vinegarette» –numbers indicate number of slices seen, no taste, little vinegarette., lettuce just a few shreds. –had stomach pains an hour later –tasted fatty, greasy crumbs: –subway, quizno’s torpedo a better value. –giant club has ¼# meat, lou’s(s.f.) has the same for a dollar less. –sammie came quick, premade? explains the screen… –lots of best foods’ mayo, grey poupon on the shelves against the wall know it’s for display only since i didn’t get any in my sammie.
