Subway

HORRIBLE service. I get that subway is not a high end restaurant, or even a nice deli, but basic decency and manners should still be expected. I went here on Sunday April 24^th, to get a sandwich for my son and boyfriend. My son wanted a flatbread. When it came out of the oven the bottom half of the bread was burned. And I don’t mean nice and toasty, I mean black and smoking. I didn’t say anything at first because I expected the guy making it to apologize and make a new one but then when he proceeded to ask me what I wanted on it I said — «it’s burned.» He then attempted to brush the black part off and when that didn’t work he motioned like he could just cut that part off? I finally said «no, you need to make me a new one I am not paying for that.» Well, that really pissed him off. He got a new flatbread, moved the turkey and burned cheese from the old sandwich to the new one — did not heat the bread of course — and then threw the rest of my order together without speaking to me. Throwing my receipt on the counter at the end was the icing on the cake. Sorry you work at subway but no need to be an asshole. I will go out of my way to never go to this place again. Also that guy should be fired.

This particular Subway is pretty low on the totem pole.
The ingredients do not look fresh. Everything looks old and withered. There was a package of guacamole in the spinach bin. A majority of the vegetable bins had very little to nothing in them.
Its obvious that the guy working tonight does not want to be here. Ask for Teriyaki sauce and he puts spinach on instead. Chatting on his phone. Mopping extra-​long next to us as we’re trying to eat.
A lot of other great options in this plaza. Plus, better Subways in the area, if you’re dead set on it.

There was A FLY in the pepperoncinis… I am not easily grossed out so I said «there is A FLY in there» then the woman making my sandwich grabbed a handful and was about to put it on my sandwich when I said «NO WAIT! there is a fly in your hand.» She stuffed it in the counter trash hole and another woman said. «no that is just an olive.» as I am sure mixing of the ingredients is common I replied «well this had a wing so I don’t think it is an olive…» Both of them did not acknowledge my concern and the lady making my sandwich completed its construction without changing her glove. I am glad I did not get a meat sandwich for if they are this carless with the care of their condiments, (and assume a fly is an olive to save face…) I cannot imagine what the meat is like. I am not interested in getting sick. I will not be back.

I went in to order a chicken crunch salad for a friend, never been here before. I didn’t know if it was a regular menu item. The one girl who was there was so rude to me, I was shocked. She refused to help me get this salad going, and only said to me «it’s not my salad, it’s your salad!» This turned out to be quite a hassle for me with the clerks super rude attitude. As I was leaving I could not believe my ears that the clerk said to me «good bye asshole!» I tried for almost a week to reach some kind of management but to no avail. So I filed a complaint with
, and I suggest anyone going forward do the same.
Do not visit this establishment!

I have been here multiple times and i always seem to get horrible customer service the ladies have very bad attitudes and they put no love in my sandwich when making it they just plop everything on there and they short you meat i get the same sandwich everyday from a lot of different subways and this is buy fore the worst one i have been to i really hate going there and i try not to go unless im starving or i see that Latin man working the counter he is the only one with good customer service if hes not there i go 10 min out of my way to go to the other location i hate this is location buy my gym as i like to get a sandwich after a god workout i would not recommended going here i hope the owner reads there Unilocal reviews and do something about the customer service

Dirty, poorly staffed and sometimes the doors are locked during business hours. I would suggest not wasting your time here. I live nearby (literally steps away) and will not go back. The Walnut Creek location is much better. Hopefully someone will take notice of this poorly operated store (it looks like a lot of unhappy customers have Unilocaled it) and fix it.

It’s so convenient and easy to eat here after working out but I don’t think I’ll be back.

If you read my BS, then you know that I’m pretty upset but let me process everything as it happened.
GF & I came here after a work out at Fitness 19, it’s conveniently within walking distance. There was NO ONE there except one lady who was working and cleaning the place.
I got a footlong tuna on honey oat wheat and GF got a 6in turkey on honey oat as well. Originally she wanted the $ 5 deal that includes soup but the only soup was chipotle chicken or something. She didn’t want it, and instead of just charging me $ 4 for the 6in the lady charged $ 5 and then made us get a drink and chips. I was tired so I didn’t realize this until after we left –_​_​–
Food quality was meh, but we were hungry! And as we were eating she started mopping the restaurant. Nothing like some BLEACH to go with my Tuna! And when we left we walked on the wet floor (that had NO CAUTION sign out) and our shoes tracked the bleach smell into my car.
If it weren’t for the bleach, I might have considered going back. Seriously they should start reading their Unilocal,maybe it will save their business. Unless of course they just bank on Concord High and other local businesses.

Probably one of the worst Subways I have ever been to! I went in this morning to grab a BLT for lunch and there were 4 people there and only 1 visible worker. I have been there 2 times before and have only ever seen 1 person working up front with no help. I was floored as she struggled to get a guys credit card to swipe. She tried numerous times, cleaned the magnetic strip and played with the machine and card for a few minutes. Now excuse me… but with 4 people waiting I would like to think that she would just key in the card! Nope. 5 minutes later I walked out. Ridiculous! Not to mention this is the only SW I know that charges tax on a cold sandwich! I have found out that if something is heated or cooked, they charge tax but if it is a normal unheated or anything cooked sandwich… there is NO tax. This place charges! Crazy but hell… I want my $ 0.50 not added on a $ 5.00 foot long. The government gets ENOUGH already!

Was at this spot because I was with a classmate that lived that way.
The shop is small and can get very busy since its next to a high school. On top of that, they had one girl working. doing everything.
She kicked ass and didnt let the line bug her. she was on point and friendly. She also was very efficient.
Props for that.
