I noticed the Qualman Oyster Farm sign on the side of the road and quickly did a u-turn! Sadly, small oysters were unavailable so I ended up with medium. They were very meaty so I can’t really recommend them for raw eating, but fire up the grill! At 50 oysters for $ 27 I didn’t mind cooking them up.

This place is great for picking up a dozen oysters in shell, and spitting them with a friend! I once made the mistake of ordering a whole cambro of pre-shucked oysters, there really can be too much of a good thing. :(Better to crack em open yourself, they taste better if you work for them.
