Great French onion soup. Burger with fresh ground beef — cooked tender — delicious. Service excellent friendly. Warm place to eat.

The food and service were great. We had the clam chowder which was delicious! My husband had the Reuben and said it was«the best one in town.» The added bonus is that they are doc friendly and not many places in this area are. We’ll definitely be back!

I stopped here for lunch but was disappointed. While the atmosphere was lovely(live music and a water view) and the service was good, what I really came for was the food and it just wasn’t very good. In fact, my entrée tasted bad. I ordered the crab cakes with fries. What I got was a plate filled with fries and three small pucks of what the kitchen claimed were crab cakes. These cakes might have had a small bit of crab in them, but my taste buds sure couldn’t tell. These were thin deep fried bread pucks that had a small bit of crab in them. Even worse, the crab cakes make up only a tiny portion of the plate. Basically I’d just bought a $ 15 plate of french fries. I feel ripped-off. I will not be back. It’s not that hard to make a thick and flavorful crab cake. It’s a good test of any seafood restaurant. Any competent chef should be able to do this well. Sadly, these crab cakes were a complete fail. Honestly, the kitchen should remove this from the menu or re-work their recipe. This dish really drags down the credibility of this restaurant.

My complements to the chef! We ordered the special(seafood linguini) it was great! They used fresh Dungeness crab caught right there in Charleston. They claim award winning chowder, and don’t get me wrong it was good, but I dunno if it was the best chowder I’ve ever had in my life. Service was good. We were in and out to see the sunse
