Riverchase Apartments

Lived here for 4 years. WAY TOO LONG. They raise the rent constantly, fine you for bs, and even put eviction notices on your door after rent being late only one day! The worst is they charged me $ 1500 when I moved out because they lost my 60 day notice. Stay Away!

Clean apartment, yet very unprofessional staff. I find it very dishonest to hold someone’s deposit when told it would be refunded if could not qualify for an apartment. Stephanie was misleading and rude. The apartments are clean, and in a well kept area, tho staff acts bothered when having to give a tour. Felt as if it where an inconvience to work with me and rushed through the process. Would not recommend to anyone.

These apartments are infinitely better than one of our previous apartments (Wellington Place Apartments,
). Soooo much quieter, less kids and safer.
Positives about the apartment itself: the ceilings are high, the walls are thick (less noise, better insulation), very efficient design, huge kitchen and luxury bath.
Positives about the complex: office staff is pretty organized and coureous, parking is adequate (everyone gets a covered space), free fitness center (with sauna and steam bath), pools, hot tubs, grassy areas with lots of trees to walk around in and it’s located right by the golf course.
It’s apartment living though, so there are some negatives: got a $ 50 returned check fee on my first rent payment because I missed like one character, fitness center needs major upgrades (fix the treadmills!), some noisy neighbors (we were lucky and didn’t get any, but I’ve definitely seen/​heard others) and a lot of dogs (I hate them in the first place, but there are tons of owners who don’t pick up their droppings).
But yeah, overall, a solid complex.

I have lived in these apartments for a year now, so I feel I can write a pretty accurate review.
I love my apartment. I live on the second floor with vaulted ceilings and my balcony facing the courtyard. The apartment I have is very spacious — 800+ sqft for a one bedroom apartment. My kitchen is huge and I love it.
If I ever have a maintenance issue –they are pretty quick to come fix everything.
Courtyard is great area to walk your dog and hang out with some nice neighbors. Dogs pretty much stay on their leashes and people really abide by most the rules.
Neighbors are friendly and I haven’t had any issues with anyone.
I feel very safe — I even sometimes have to walk the dog in the middle of the night and I feel safe walking out and taking him without worries.
I will say –sometimes the office staff has some communication problems but what apartment complex doesn’t.
A little higher in price than I would normally pay but you really are paying for such a great location!!!
I am close to everything — Irving, Lewisville, Carrollton, Farmers Branch — close to work, school and church!!!
I just signed a new lease and my rent didn’t go up! Wooohoo!!! I really enjoy living here.
