Wendy’s

Went through drive thru for first time today. Food was terrible. I wasn’t expecting much but if any place could have a worst hamburger please let me know. Don’t waste your time or money.

Here’s the thing, I’m not sure why fast food places don’t get many positive reviews, especially this one. The food — well you know what you’re getting into there so I don’t have much respect for anyone slamming fast food unless its just way off the deep end. Here’s what I do respect, good customer service.
I started working on this side of town about a year ago, and while this area is a bit of a food desert, this Wendy’s isn’t too far from the office. I’m not fancy, and pretty much get the same thing each time… and frequent this location a few times a week. Maria, the manager, and her staff have been nothing but incredibly friendly every single time I’ve been in. And its not just me, its every person that walks in the door. There’s a new hire there named Jacob that is probably all of 17 years old and who is hands down the most friendly person I’ve encountered in the fast food industry. The food is good too, don’t get me wrong… but its just about time customer service be just as celebrated as the food in these small reviews. If you’re hungry and needing something via the drive-​thru, this Wendy’s has it together. Service with a smile get’s 5 stars every time.

This WAS my fav Wendy’s because they would give me cheese on top and bottom of my sandwich (since I get it plain with only cheese), making the extra $.50 kinda worth it, but now they’re stingy and only do one slice. Boooo…

The service here was so poor that if leaving NO stars was an option, I would have opted for it. I ordered the chicken nugget meal because I am a big fan of Wendy’s spicy chicken nuggets. I was surprised they didn’t ask me what sauce I would like to eat with it, but I figured I’d just order it at the window. This is where things went downhill. I asked the lady for ketchup and sweet and sour sauce. She refused insisting she she had already put ketchup in the bag. Mind you there were only two ketchup packets and I had ordered a 10 pc nugget and large fries. After going back and forth with her she finally agreed but gave me ONE ketchup packet and one sweet and sour sauce. I looked in my bag to add it and saw my fries were only half filled. When my mom showed her this, she replied with «1.83» without batting an eyelash. It took us a moment to realize that she was giving us the price to order additional fries. I was tooken aback and gathered my food and left. It wasn’t until I made it to the car and took a sip of my sprite that I realized that the sprite had ran out and it was a cup full of carbonated water, however after dealing with the woman I was too embarrassed to go back in and vowed never to return! What’s even worse was my meal was cold, so it seems the service matched the food, cold and unimpressive.
