This was an old Miami favorite, too bad the owners didn’t keep it going. Lots of memories; Sunday afternoons with friends and family!

So happy to know they finally went out of business. Business owners should respect their patrons, and this business owner was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. Hopefully, some employee was able to get the recipe for their sauce and their dough and will open a new business. If they do, someone please let me know. I’ll gladly support them, as long as that horrible guy is nowhere in the picture.

I have been coming to Miami’s Best Pizza for over 20 years and we have always enjoyed the casual atmosphere. Their pizza is made with fresh ingredients and their salads and garlic rolls are great. The sad thing is that in a short time this classic place will be closing due to their lease costs. The hope is they find another location in the area so that they can continue the tradition.

There are no words. Only pizza I crave. And the Cesar salad is bomb too! The small can be kind of small for two people so I’d go with medium. Also. Ranch makes a great dip with the pizza!

Disappointed that I found this place a few weeks ago, only to find out they’re closing their doors. I come here to binge on garlic rolls after yoga next door, and I never have regrets. Sure, they’re swimming in grease, but $ 5 for a dozen with plenty of flavor to work with when I stir fry my veggies, I’m pleased as punch.

I am pretty close to devastated that this Miami gem is closing. This is my go-to place for pizza. The sauce is perfect. I always get it hot and the crust is just soft and crispy enough. I always get the pepperoni. Honestly, it was so good, I never tried anything else! Being from Ny & Philly, it’s hard to find good, no frills, delicious pizza in Miami. Most places don’t get the sauce or the dough right and let’s just be honest, Miami is NOT known for great pizza. I have never had a bad experience here(the wait can be a little long for delivery) and I am going to be so sad when they finally shut their doors.

It’s a bit upsetting to hear this pizzeria will be closing at the end of January 2015. But this pizzeria not being able to find another spot, that is terrible news. Miami’s Best Pizza may have been Miami’s best pizza in the beginning of their journey. This place has been around for quite a while. There are lots of memorabilia on the walls, the building itself is old(by American/Miami standards), and the furniture and fixtures inside are dated. Forty-five years young and gone… I have friends that have worked here when we were in college, to pay for the insurance on their car or whatever other requirement parents put on their kids. I have been here with girlfriends, wives, kids, lovers, out-of-towners, family, friends that just got out of prison, and friends that would end up in prison, deported, UM alumni, faculty, basically every walk of life, nationality and gender under the rainbow. I have eaten so many pies from this place I just can’t number, as well as subs and garlic rolls. And I have refilled my cup of soda even more. I have made the line, waited, called in for take out, but never ever have I ordered delivery. It is so weird to see this place vanish. The pizza here was pretty good. Definitively one of Miami’s best pizzas. And it was always good stuff, never burnt or hard, skimpy, or the wrong order. It had its own style, and if you liked it, you would stick around for more. The dough here is not like most pizza, it’s a bit bready, the crust somewhat textured like ciabatta bread. The ingredients are basic good, not gourmet, but good and somewhat blue collar. Not everyone likes truffle on their pizza. In other words, this pizza would be a more humble type, but still really good stuff. The subs here are also good. Basically middle of the road here, not outstanding, but definitively a repeat. And it’s not only the food that is good, but the prices are good too. My favorites here, without a doubt, are the single ingredient pizzas. Either plain cheese, pepperoni, meatball, or ham/mushroom. I am not crazy about the combos, although the«meat lovers» is a favorite of many people I know. On the sub side, the chicken parmigiana is the best one. And that’s where I stop with their menu, even though I may order some cheese sticks here and there. So, farewell to you, Miami’s Best Pizza. Thank you for the many years selling delicious pizza. Hopefully we’ll see you soon somewhere around, even on a food truck… I am not losing hope on this one.

I’m very sad to hear this place will be closing down at the end of January 2015, that’s what the sign inside the store said the last time I visited. The pizza here is great and you can have a slice and a soda for only $ 5. Mind you, this is not a regular slice, it is huge!!! So to me, this is a great deal. I really like their pizza and the rating is only for the quality of the food, not for the place(that would about a 1 – 2 star but I’m not going to take it into account right now). I would recommend you give it a try before it is closed down permanently and remember to bring cash, they don’t take any cards.

Pains me to say this long-time Miami staple is apparently on the outs. I was lucky enough to work a stone’s throw from MBP for almost a year. I ordered dozens of times, as did my company for certain occasions. Service was always on point, and the pepperoni pizza is straight addictive. The sauce, crust and pepperonis are far superior to Steve’s Pizza, East Side, and Mario the Baker, all pizzas I appreciate to varying degrees. I sometimes called it Miami’s Beast Pizza because it was so devilishly good and the phone number starts with 666. The actual number on the box read 666‑5931. I noticed 5+9+3+1 equals 18, which is also 6+6+6. I brought this to the attention of 2 girls working the cashier one day and they both said«OH $HiTTTT» at the same time! Ha! Crazy, right! Anyhow I’m hoping the end of this establishment doesn’t bring on the apocalypse. Just in case it does, duck in their and grab a pie while you still have time!

It’s a shame that these people are closing. Their pizza has a great taste, but it’s as if now they’ve lost their motivation to satisfy customers. I walked in with 4 co-workers to order slices and the girl tells me «I hope you guys are willing to share because we only have 5 slices left.» Some of us wanted 2 slices but needed to settle, and then were forced to purchase small pizzas instead of simple slices. If you’re gonna close, don’t leave people with a sour taste in their mouth. If you’ve never tried the place, save yourself the time and don’t go. And if you have been here, it won’t be «Miami’s Best Pizza» when you come back, it’ll leave you with a bad memory. It’s a shame and really irritates me. Wish I could give them 0 stars.

I quit going to this place a long time ago, for two reasons. 1. They keep screwing up orders. Not occasionally. Often. They hire college kids with no work ethic, and they stand around playing grabass instead of making good pizza. They burn pizzas. They get the ingredients wrong. They just don’t pay attention. And they have a guilt-trip tip box, which is ridiculous for a place that does not offer table service. 2. There is a little old bald guy who works in there, and he has a creepy attitude. I don’t know if he’s the owner or what, but once he rang an order up for me, and I put out my hand for the change, and he stared into my eyes while slapping the money on the counter. Like he was trying to prove something. No idea what that was all about. Today I had a weak moment and ordered a pizza, knowing I was asking for trouble. I also decided to try the garlic rolls. How bad could they be, right? They left an item off the pizza(typical), and the first roll I ate had a nasty smell I could not identify. It may have been burned garlic. I considered eating a second roll just to see if I could guess what the smell was, but I decided to throw them out instead. Anyone who says the pizza is great here is simply showing that they’ve never had good pizza. In New York or even North Miami, this stuff would be hard to give away. The pizza is okay, unless they screw it up. «Okay.» Gables Pizza and Salad is just as good, which is not saying a whole lot. If you want decent pizza in this area, go to La Dolce Vita or The Big Cheese.

We did a large half cheese, half ham. I always order cheese at a new pizza place so I can get a good taste of the foundation of a great pizza. After all, toppings go on top of a cheese pizza, so it only stands to reason that a good cheese pizza is the starting point for a pizza with toppings. Well, this was basically Little Caesar’s with a different crust. The crust was bland. The sauce packed no punch, and the cheese didn’t wow. The ham was okay, though. This place is certainly far from being Miami’s best. If you really want the best pizza, go to Steve’s Pizza in Cutler Ridge. A good spot it The Big Cheese which is five minutes from this place.

Had a large pepperoni, onion and garlic. Was pretty good. Sauce was great. A little greasy. Service was great and quick. It’s very laid back atmosphere. I love coming here. So simple and the food is good. Wasn’t too busy, but it was also Monday nite. Parking is ok, bit Friday nite can fill up fast.

Miami’s Best Pizza? Not sold on that but it’s damn good. A bit pricey for my taste but this is Face’s favorite pizza joint so I must oblige. The thing that she likes the most and that I’m also a fan of is what happens to the pepperoni once it’s the pizza is baked. They become little pools of oily deliciousness with crispy edges YUM Pro tips– look for coupons on-line. They are there and they help. Get the Caesar dressing. It’s great and you can dip your crust in it

The pizza was small & ridiculously thin although it was a medium it still small even for a medium. It’s equal to a personal. Can’t say anything about the service there was barely any. You order up front find your table and pick up at a window. The seating is very uncomfortable, honestly the place can use a face lift. In the end I walked out still hungry. If size matters to you Pizza Hut has a bigger medium

This is my favorite pizza in Miami. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s worth it. You can ask for a garlic crust which really makes it special. I always get it to go because the ambience is not very fabulous. No biggie, though.

Miami’s best is a classic pizzeria in South Florida. From students to senior citizens, the place is known for it’s delicious and well-crafted pizzas. We had the ‘traditional’ cheese pizza and then a more refined, gourmet, margherita. The crust is crispy, perfect. Really. What makes the pizza perfect, for me, is the sauce: Fresh tomato sauce with a hint of sweetness. Just how I grew up. Then comes the gooey mozzarella cheese. You really can’t ask for better. They place ain’t pretty but let’s be real. If you are here it’s because you want to get down and dirty with your pizza! I visited twice in a week. It’s that good.

This pizza is top 5 in Miami! It’s not heavy on the sauce which is nice and it’s just the right amount of cheese on the pizza. Salads are yummy and priced fairly. Location is easy for take out which is what I get mostly. The space is huge to stay and dine in and always clean. It makes me think of family style eating all the time. Don’t be in a rush though they take their time perfecting the pizzas which is appreciated.

After driving past this place for years, my friend finally took me here. My first impression of the place is that it felt very old & dirty. My friend suggested we sit by the window and there were ants crawling around the window and on our table. Ugh, gross! Now to the pizza, honestly… how is this Miami’s best? I ordered a pepperoni and it ceased to amaze me. Pizza is by far my favorite thing to eat, but I would personally not bother eating it from here. The pizza here was very bland & the pepperoni tasted like those you’d find in a Lunchables box. Just not impressive at all. The prices are a tad overpriced for the quality pizza you’re getting too. Meh. Not the best, but not the worst thing ever.
