Hole in the wall but the phở is to die for!!! They are flexible and allow you to customize your dishes without hassle. I like to add extra vegetables to my chicken phở and they charge a dollar extra. I love their food and they are very friendly. They have good music playing and have TVs playing sporting events which is an added plus. I only wish they would have a diet caffeine free option for soda. If i dont want caffeine, i have to drink sierra mist with all its calories.

My husband and i just moved here from the Bay Area, so needless to say trying to find phở that compares to home has been a chore. This place has been the best we have found in the area so far. They serve a decent bowl and the broth has decent flavor. We have made this our go to phở spot since we have tried quite a few others and were not happy. This place is near where we live and i also enjoy the spring rolls from here. So overall a good choice if you are craving a bowl of hot delicious phở. But we are still on a mission to find the best!

Phở Anam has gotten it right; not once not twice but 3 times… This place consistently deliver the perfect bowl of Phở. Let me tell you something about Phở. Phở 101; soup needs to be HOTT!!! broth is soo good and the meat is fresh and the noodle are perfect… I personally has had Phở all over the west coast as far as Vancouver Canada to San Diego. Me & the family had just moved into this area of Riverside. And this place has sky rocketed to the top 3 Phở place on our list. The Super bowl is rediculous. I have yet to conquer this bowl. Because of the double meat serving. Our 3 kids love the well done brisket soup. And their Pork Summer rolls is one of the best I’ve had. The down side is the sauce. It needs more peanut butter to make it slammin!!! So go ahead and eat at Phở Anam … And try one if the top Phở places on my list… I can vouche for this place

I was craving the noodle dish so I went in today for take out during lunch time. I ordered bun noodle with grilled pork & egg rolls which it was tasty. I was so surprise to read about all negative reviews on Unilocal.Like I said the bun was pretty good but I’m giving it a 4 Stars due to unfriendly staff.

My family and I were craving some phở but we changed our mind when we saw another table with a vermicelli. The vermicelli was really good and I would order it again. The servers where really friendly and paid attention to us. Phở Anam overall had a great service.

My husband and I ordered take out the other day. Order want ready when we came in, which is fine cause that means it’s fresh and hasn’t been sitting out. Gave a lot of veggies and lime, not much sauce though. My husband really liked his, the number 13 I want to say, the one with egg noodles. I had the number 10, shrimp noodles. My shrimp was over cooked, really rubbery no flavor whatsoever. I let them soak in the broth for a minute or two. My noodles were soggy and just turned to Mush before I really had a chance to chew. And I was not impressed with the broth. I was really looking forward to that lovely phó flavor and it was none existent. It just tasted like watered down chicken broth. I am very disappointed with this place thus far. I will give it another shot only because it might be different dinning in. It will be awhile before that happens.

We ordered at the front and asked the girl what«flask» was. She was trying to be helpful but responded, «It’s basically beef.» As we continued our order, a male worker interrupted us to berate the girl: «It’s not –basically– beef. It’s just beef. Got it?» He was rude because he not just interrupted us, but he also was talking down to his coworker in front of customers. There were definitely underlying tensions, but the girl was nice enough. We waited for our food and they forgot to call it out. We walked up after 15 minutes and saw our food waiting there. Later we got home and ate the food. It was good. We opened the hoisen sauce. There was a rubber band in the hoisen sauce! Gross!

Cold weather outside = Phở soup, and everyone can agree with all the different locations popping up locally, it’s gets a little complicated which restaurant to choose. Tonight it was here. My hubby picked up my order to go because I was at home sick. My concern with ordering to go was if the Tri Tip meats would cook throughly, well problem was solved because they offered pre cooked slices too. I was one happy woman when he walked in with my soup. They separate the broth and all the toppings are in a separate bag. In the bag they provided noodles, bean sprouts, mint leaves, jalapenos, fish paste, soy sauce, lemon wedge and when you combine all of that, you’ll have a tasty soup. This place is in a great location right next to the 99 Asian Market off McKinley St. Plenty of parking. Just be careful of the pedestrians! They’ll walk right in front of a moving car…

No go phở. This place is definitely no my personal choice for phở. I’d rather travel a few exits east to get quality broth and a better level of service. Oddly enough based upon on number of patrons you’d think this place was great. But if you know good broth, you’d know this ain’t it.

I moved to Corona earlier this year from Hawaii and I’ve got to tell you, in the inland Empire, finding really good Asian food is a true challenge. It’s even more challenging finding a certain type of Vietnamese restaurant that serves eggrolls that do not incorporate shrimp into them. Imagine how happy I was to find Phở Anam with their wonderful vegetarian eggrolls? The place has been a saving grace for me whenever I got my hunger on for Vietnamese food. The Phở is wonderful too. Is it as good as the Phở you can find on Westminster in orange county? No. Is it acceptable for the inland Empire? Absolutely! The beef always seem fresh as well as the broth clean and tasty. Even the tripe tastes wonderful with no game-eeness to it. The service is always timely and friendly and the food is prepared quickly. No doubt I will be back fairly regularly. I just wish the excepted American Express so I could bring my work team here more often.

I have been here a couple of time because it’s located next to Ranch Market that I go to. It is a small place. I have had phở and spring rolls there. I think the phở is on the bland side and the portion is a bit small. Spring rolls is regular. This place is ok, as I mentioned before I only go because it’s convenient.

Came here with my fiancée on a hot corona day to grab some lunch. Walked in and the place was pretty busy. which is a good thing. We were greeted by a waitress who then pointed us to sit down. She immediately handed us menus and took drink orders. We ordered: Fresh Spring rolls– Originally we wanted to try the summer roll with bbq pork, but they were out, waitress came back and apologized and offered the alternative, which i accepted since i wanted spring rolls anyway. The spring rolls were made fresh. You can tell by the wrapper cause its not tough. The ingredients inside were fresh as well– veggies and shrimp. GOOD #4 Phở Regular(brisket and rare steak) — Ive been to many Phở spots from here to San Diego, and the broth here is actually pretty tastey. Had lots of flavor, and lots of meat. They dont skimp on the meat like other places do. thumbsup. Egg rolls/pork with vermicelli — My fiancée ordered this, it came with noodles, lettuce, egg rolls, and pork with their own type of salad dressing. This had pretty good flavor as well, and it was huge. I think you can share this dish. With the amount of people in the establishment, the service was really good. The 2 waitresses had a good routine going. They would take turns making rounds. I would come back to Phở Anam. Service and Good tasting food deserves re-visits.

This is a good place for Phở and a couple of spring rolls. The broth has good beef flavor. The staff makes the visit even better. The place is small so get there early on the weekends or be prepared to wait — put you name on the list and shop at Ranch 99 next door.

I wanted to love this place since it was so close to my parents’ house and would be perfect for a cold(lol, «cold») day or a Sunday(yadadamean’) but was extremely disappointed and will not be coming again. Service: granted, I came during lunch hour, the waiter never came with the menu(I grabbed it from near the soda fountain). Took 10 minutes to come by and take our order, and another 15 for the food to come out. Food: our TWO spring rolls came out last, after our broken rice dish and steamed veggies plate. The pork on the broken rice plate was extremely dry and looked like it was either picked out from somebody’s left overs, or had been left out for too long. We proceeded in drenching all of our food in fish sauce to make it somewhat edible. Verdict: I guess if you are not Asian and was really craving Asian food, then ok. But really, there’s a perfectly find Chinese restaurant(Min’s Dumplings) that’s A LOT better than this place. I’ve had so much better Vietnamese food, and will not be coming here again.

I would say Phở Anam is my «holy grail» phở place! It’s just down the street from where I live so I come here often and love it more and more each time. I have been coming to Phở Anam since they opened. My favorite phở place used to be in Westminster but they closed down in 2010 so I had been on a long and grueling quest(lol) for comparable phở. I’m pretty picky with my phở and was pretty unhappy with most of the phở places around Corona/Norco/Riverside, until Phở Anam opened! I always get the #1 — fresh sliced steak. The broth is wonderful and full of flavor. The noodles are never too mushy or hard — it is always JUST right. They always add a LOT of meat(sometimes too much). I haven’t ventured out to try non-phở dishes but my friends say their other dishes are pretty tasty. Their butter garlic wings are to DIE for. Service is kind of meh. The only waiter I enjoy having is the owner’s son(I’m assuming he’s her son). He’s always hustling and is everywhere doing everything at once. The other waiter’s and waitresses are meh, and I’ve had times where I wouldn’t even see them attentive to me after they dropped off my food. It isn’t a deal breaker but sometimes I do want/need that second glass of water! The place is pretty small compared to other phở restaurants. They only have 12 tables so if you’re there during peak hours and they are full, you are SOL. They also aren’t open on Monday’s.
