Pier 1 Imports

It is like having a flash back to the 1960’s in San Francisco. I walk in this store and I instantly hear in my head hypnotic, ethereal sitar music playing,
, as I leisurely wander the aisles of paisley pillows, wicker this and that, jute rugs, rustic furniture with charisma, brightly colored homespun fabrics and imperfect coarse textures, brass bells, and earthy smells.
Whew. Is it me, or is it the incense and herbal soaps? Actually folks, I do not need anything special to make me have an out of body experience here. I simply love uncommon, folksy things. And when I finally come to, my basket is full.

I have a blast shopping here. When I want something less mainstream to brighten my home, this is my place to shop. Such fun. It is the antithesis of sterile, modern-​minded Ikea.

I’m a pier 1 fan! From my personal experience with this specific store, I encourage the Pier 1 corporate to enroll the store manager in an excessive customer service training, after a short conversation with her she advised me to take the long route on resolving my problem that she and her staff created. She advised me to call customer service and end the conversation! I felt so disrespected and humiliated, but I was lucky that the pier 1 customer service was professional enough to apologize and resolve the problem by correcting her wrong decision! My advice to all customers, in this specific store if you have any problem call customer service immediately do not bother to ask for a manager!!!

I absolutely love Pier 1! Especially this one in particular. Their store is always organized and the staff is so friendly. We’ve been remodeling around the house and needed a new TV stand. To my surprise i found this beauty! On top is a 55″ tv and all my equipment fit perfectly on the shelves. I paid equally for this beautifully made cabinet compared to all the others that we saw that needed to be assembled which is not fun! The sales associates Charline, Nathan and especially the manager Michelle went way and beyond to show me all my options to make the best decision .I highly recommend this store!

I love shopping here. The ladies asked if I needed help but let me look around for a while as I made my decisions. There are so many cool stuff including those on sale. I was able to purchase an outdoor rug, a bath ensemble and white faux fur pillows for our new place. When the staff member saw I was pregnant and needed help she carried my bags for me in my car and made pleasant conversation. The lay out is a clone of other Pier 1 stores. Lots of parking!

I wasn’t sure what I was looking for, but knew I wanted to check out Pier 1. I don’t get in there much and I had alot of time on my hands… What a delightful hour I had. The three ladies that were putting out the NEW STUFF were so fun. They were very helpful and friendly. I will be going back next Thursday, that’s the day all the new stuff gets put out. I want that lamp girls (you know the one I’m talking about)! See you Thursday.
