Hampton Inn Cortland

Staff is very nice, room was clean, free WiFi, pool was disgustingly dirty looking, a free but not so good breakfast other than waffles. It was just an average hotel room. If that is what you are looking for this is the place to go.

Friendly staff, clean room, nice location, good breakfast (and cookies), great place to spend a night!

Service (+). I arrived late. The desk clerk was amazingly outgoing and friendly. She handled my transaction and wished me a good night with a very friendly smile. She did not offer me my water though until I reminded her. Immediately after though, she thanked me for being an HHonors member.
Comfort. The room was comfortable, the bed was extremely comfortable and it had a very large TV. This TV was much larger than I have seen at other Hampton’s. However, the room was lacking the new charger attachments near the bed and I had to move furniture to get to a outlet near the bed. I was able to adjust the thermostat in the room but that didn’t seem to control the unit or temperature. I turned it way down and it didn’t turn on and later I turned it up a few degrees and the A/​C kicked on. The overall temperature in the room was okay, slightly warmer than I like it though. The shower had great pressure and hot water!
Atmosphere. The dining area was nicely organized and was very busy in the morning. There were two open tables when I entered and both were dirty. I looked around for another place to sit and there was nothing open. I went and grabbed my food and when I returned there was still nothing else open and the table hadn’t been cleaned, so I sat at a dirty table. A gentlemen came in after me sat at the other dirty table keeping his plate very near the edge where it was clean. The warm food was not marked and the sausage was cold.
Price (+). Well worth the price paid. It was one of the lower priced Hampton’s in the immediate area.
Everything Else (+). All in all, it was a Hampton and I am a Hampton fan. My overall experience was satisfactory and I did not stay long as I arrived late and left early. The parking was ample and the lobby was nicely decorated. My overall stay was, as Unilocal says, «A-​Okay». Hopefully the staff will work on the dining area to make this one of the better Hampton’s should I come back to this area again.

Room is nicely furnished including a microwave and refrigerator, bathroom is a comfortable size. Everything was clean with no bad smells. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Remodel is nice, and great tv channel selection! but wireless Internet speed really sucks… Can’t do my work. Won’t stay here again.

Fantastic as usual. We were so close to having to stay at a Days-​Inn because all other hotels in Ithaca were full because of Cornell Days. Very nce/​clean room here.
