Logo This Inc / Bargaintown

I have recently had the misfortune of bringing a couple projects to Logo This for printing on T-​shirts. First off, the cost of printing a fairly simple design was pretty ludicrous. A black design with mostly letters and a simple graphic cost $ 20 to print on a $ 10 shirt. I have been dealing with printing companies for several years as a graphic designer and have never encountered pricing this awful.
Second, one of the requirements is that a file be rendered in vector graphics for printing, which is pretty standard. You would think however that the staff would have some experience working with illustrator files, but you would be very wrong for thinking that.
Out of 50 T-​shirts that were printed one came out bad, and just from looking at it it was obviously a printer malfunction. When the shirt was brought back to be redone they tried to blame it on the artwork. I’m sorry, but if it was a problem with the art work then why did only one come out bad, furthermore why did you try to give it to a customer? That’s terrible quality control and shows a real lack of concern for their customers.
I didn’t want to leave a bad review but I pretty much had to. It’s all been pretty unfortunate. I hope they can improve.
