Always wonderful service and great food every time we go here. I love the crepes and Belgian waffles! Omelettes are yummy, too. Definitely recommend it!

The service was quick and our waitress was very nice. I had bacon, hash browns and pancakes. Bacon was excellent, hash browns mediocre. The pancakes were fine, though I wish they could have used fresh or even frozen strawberries instead of canned.

My husband I ate breakfast at Elmers yesterday. We had one of the best waiters that we have ever encountered. His name was Derrick and he was patient and very professional. It was my husbands first time there for breakfast and we both were indecisive. The food was great, especially the German pancake. We hesitated going at first since we wanted more of a «diner» experience but were pleasantly surprised.

Never been to Elmers before, but i received a $ 5 off coupon so my wife and I decided to try it. Unfortunately I forgot my coupon at home. I asked the waitress if she could make an exception and her response was a sad face. I understand its my responsibility to bring in my coupon for redemption. With that said, the purpose of the coupon is to bring customers in, well im here wouldnt you want my customer experience to be exeptional? I run a local business and my response to this same situation would not only to have given the coupon discount, but to provide another coupon for there next visit. With that said the restaurant was clean, had good food and service was average.

Certainly acceptable, but not awesome. ‘Famous’ pancakes were pretty so-so, the scrambled eggs were flat and dry, the bacon okay, but overall, breakfast was pretty disappointing. Next time I will go to Sam’s station or Broken Yolk! They do a great job advertising and asking for reviews on Unilocal, guess that is why so many do. However, this is Corvallis, sooooooo

The coffee is always hot and fresh. The breakfast menu is excellent. Food comes out hot and is very tasty. The staff, especially Shawna, is attentive and happy to make changes to the standard menu items to accomodate any need.

Came here for breakfast on OSU fathers weekend. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. I’ve never written a review but had to for this place.

We go here frequently. Though the staff changes, we’ve always found them to be very friendly and good. The food is always hot and tasty. We’ll keep going back.

The place was nearly empty of customers when we went. We both ordered burgers w/free refills on the french fries. The burgers were a long time coming, and when they did, the tops of the Kaiser rolls were crunchy, not soft, as though they’d been sitting around for awhile. The cheese, once melted, had already become hard again on top of a saltless patty. Ketchup & mustard were brought, but once we had placed a bit on our plates, both were whisked away. Another wait-person came along, well after we had finished our plates, and asked if we wanted more fries. When they came, they appeared old and crunchy and brown, as if they may have been fried twice. Again, that ketchup was whisked away as if there were only one bottle in the place. We both got the sense that something strange was going on. With all the staff running around, so few customers, and below-par food. I doubt we will be back.

My dad and I were at Elmer’s last Sunday for brunch and we requested an off-menu item(bacon-filled Belgian waffles). The waitress was happy to check for us and the kitchen said they’d do it. The waffles were great and I wish Elmer’s would add this item to the regular menu!

Best Breakfast in Corvallis! The Oregon Coast seriously needs an Elmer’s. I’ve been going to Elmer’s since I was a kid when my Grandmother would take me there in Tigard. When I was attending OSU, I would come here for breakfast almost every day and study. Great Service, Great Food! The owners, Patty and Louis are awesome and as nice as they come. Just damn good food. They will make it anyway you like. Try the Blueberry Hazelnut Pancake Combo with berry syrup and the chicken sausage with eggs the way you like ‘em. I used to go cut 3 – 6 cords of firewood after a breakfast like that. Seriously good food.

Great service and good food. Everybody was happy and full. Only thing I could suggest is the yolk for the Eggs Benedict could be runny instead of cooked almost solid but they were still yum!

The staff was excellent and service was very good. My rating is based on the lack of vegan choices(none). They don’t even offer soy or almond milk for their oatmeal, which was highly overpriced, I thought, at $ 6.99. If I can’t eat there I don’t see any need to go back. My wife did like her strawberry crepes though.

My dad and I have just had another good brunch here. We both had the special – a three sausage omelet with green and red bell peppers, onions with a sauce. Two biscuits came with it. It also came with your choice of hash browns or mixed fresh fruit. Good coffee too. The service was very good too.

I don’t know how this place stays in business. I’m not stuck up… I like food in general, half the time it doesn’t even have to be very good. In fact I’m a fan of Sheri’s right next door, its relatively cheap and has relatively good food. We wandered in here one night because we were sick of all the options and wanted to try somewhere we hadn’t been before. The wait staff was friendly, albeit a little strange, the restaurant was clean and quiet, and had the ambiance of a rest-home. We ordered chicken fried steak, and hazelnut crusted cod, two of the more expensive dinner items on the menu. The food came suspiciously fast. The chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and green beans and carrots was edible, but just barely. The veggies were greasy but tasty, the mashed potatoes were ok too, but very salty, and the chicken fried steak was pasty, greasy, and as I said, just barely edible. I had broccoli cheese soup also, it was fine but incredibly greasy and salty. I was starving so it made it all that much more palatable. I still didn’t finish it. The hazelnut«crusted» cod came with the same green beans and carrots, «rice pilaf» which was just rice, with an unidentifiable extra flavor, and a salad. The sides were poor quality and still the best part of the meal. The fish was downright inedible. This was my girlfriends meal, i took one bite, then she tried to get me to help her with the rest so she didn’t look rude, but i couldn’t do it. It was doused in grease, poorly cooked and flavored, and made me lose my appetite. Then there’s the price, we each got an entrée and i got a rootbeer, and our total bill was over 30 $ You can get a FAR better meal at many restaurants in town for that price, and a much better meal for much less at many more. I regret everything about our decision to eat here. There’s absolutely no reason to choose this place.

I really like the Elmer’s in Corvallis. The food is home style and consistently good as is the service. The menu includes a wide variety which is nice because we have picky eaters aka. children. :-) The manager even telephoned us to tell us we left something at the restaurant. My favorite is the dutch baby. Yum.

We have been enjoying Elmer’s food, atmosphere, and service for the last 4 years, visiting around once per month. I think we’ve become addicted to the Idaho Potato Pancakes, the French Toast, and the big ol’ Hungry Rancher Breakfast. They get my eggs perfect every time and I’m weird with my over medium well orders… The staff are great. They are helpful and friendly of course but more importantly they are on the ball. It’s consistently quick service even when the place is busy, and being a former server myself I can appreciate that.
