The service was friendly, the food came out fast, and the food was delicious! The chicken tastes great, was grilled perfectly, and the spicy tahini was a great addition. I will definitely be coming back as this is a great lunch spot.

I’ve had better Middle Eastern food, but this place is open late. Halal Guys in NYC and various restaurants in London are far superior so this was a letdown, but I think this is the only place for Middle Eastern food in Corvallis.

Went in late at night and received wonderful customer service. The guy suggested the Ali Baba which was absolutely phenomenal, fries were crispy and came with a delicious garlic sauce. Anybody that is in Corvallis and wants good food needs to come to this place

We stopped by this place a few days ago because we got detoured off the HWY5 and chose this place. Thank goodness we did because it is seriously amazing. Got the Ali Baba sandwich and Lamb Shwarma and it was amazing. So much so, that we took a special detour on the way back to get Ali Babas for the road and two smoothies(the mango smoothie is beyond amazing). If you are anywhere near Corvallis you would be dumb to not eat here.

Apologies — the previous review was for a different restaurant. I really like this one; it’s a quiet place to hang out with free wi-if, good food, and lots of unique and yummy desserts. Really want to see this place succeed — If you haven’t tried it yet please do!

Not much to say really, it’s a good Middle Eastern restaurant with good food! The customer service is always very nice and cordial as well. My friends enjoy the house sauces, not sure how it’s spelled, but we always get an order of Bad Sauce to go with our fries. It’s a bit spicy(but nothing with too much burn), and very tasty.

My new fave restaurant in town. Food is delish, love the ali baba chicken with tahini sauce, fresh, and so flavorful. Owner is very gracious. We hosted a New Year’s Eve party for 12, had it catered. Ordered the ali baba chicken, chicken kafta, and saffron rice. When we arrived to pick it up, chicken was arranged in a large chafing dish, and they gave us extra gas burners to go. Chicken stayed tender, juicy, and hot. Also gave is a lot of extra bad sauce and tahini sauce(yum!) and extra rice. Food was plentiful for a very reasonable price. Our guests raved about the food.

We love this place. The food is good and the Turkish Coffee is out of this world. The best part is they are willing to accommodate my wife’s special dietary needs. Lunch or dinner out is worth your time.

My room mate last year had a class where she had to visit this place and invited to tag along and now I am a loyal customer. I love their falafel and it never dissapoints.

It’s good to have another locally owned international restaurant option in Corvallis. We had the assortment plate with a generous serving of Pita bread. The grape leaves(I’d call it a Dolma) and falafel were quite good. Plenty of fresh food for two people at a reasonable price. Service was very fast. The staff and owner are very friendly. We look forward to returning and trying more menu items. Hint: try the mint green tea. Great for a hot summer evening.

I work nearby Le Café, and I have to say — when I’m really hungry and need something substantial, delicious, and not fast food. This is where I go. The prices seem a little steep for lunch, but the quality and taste can’t be beat. They have a daily special, and I check that nearly daily — if it is the Moroccan Chicken or the Fried Chicken(oh my god good), I eat my lunch there. Hands down. Their Baked Chicken is good as well. The chicken dishes all come with saffron rice and a small salad. Huge amounts of food for the price — the Moroccan chicken is easily enough for 2 full meals. It’s not all chicken, though! The lamb is awesome. They don’t use pre-processed mystery-meat-lamb. It’s the real deal, freshly cooked and delicious. I don’t know what they do to their french fries, but they are krinkle-cut morsels of amazingness, especially with some«Bad Sauce».(On request — make sure you try this stuff. I’m still not sure what it is, but I’m addicted). All in all: 5 stars of delicious food, friendly staff, and great location… and late hours! 11:30pm most nights~! woo!

Went to D“el Jebal last night for an early dinner. We both ordered the Ali Baba. I had mine with rice, while my husband had the fries. Nice flavors with relatively small portions. My rice seemed a lot more authentically mideastern than the curly fries that probably came out of a freezer. The service is slow and the plastic ware doesn’t work for me from both an enviromental standpoint and the fact the it is too flimsy. Nice décor and it is quiet enough so that you can carry on a conversation!

My husband, 3 boys and I settled on this restaurant after striking out at other locations due to high cost, cash only or closed on Sunday. We’re arguing over the # of stars & review to give. Our youngest(10) had a lamb burger & loved it. Our oldest(18) & my husband had the Ali baba– they thought it had good flavor. Our middle(14) & myself had the beef schwarma-we agreed that the meat was minimal & a bit stringy. The bigger issue was slow service, frozen crinkle fries & store bought pita. We’re Middle Eastern food fans. We enjoy the rich flavors & special attention to homemade pita & meats with flavors I cannot recreate at home. We’ve rarely(if ever) left a Middle Eastern restaurant without feeling like we had been welcomed into a families home. Maybe this was just an off night(the smoothies were delicious) but they have much room for improvement here. It seems like a good location and nice color scheme. I hope they’ll be able to make a few changes and come out shining.

Tried a lamb shawarma sandwich and a falafel. I thought the Shawarma was decent and the fries were ok. I wasn’t as impressed with the falafel, personally. I was going to give this place a 3, but they also have a bakery-ish section where you can buy pita or other middle eastern bread and deserts. There is also a selection of candy/sweets from the middle east. I also liked the décor a lot.

Couldn’t get enough of the Shawarma lamb sandwich with a chai halib. Love what they’ve done with the space!

Had lunch here with a friend. I got the chicken schwarma and she got the special — another sandwich with grilled onions and peppers. Both came in good time, nice and succulently warm from the grill. My schwarma had a hummus based sauce instead of a tangier yogurt/lemon based I was expecting, but very delicious. Generous amount of chicken, lettuce and tomatoes. Nice décor in a casual, comfortable style. Enjoyed it very much.

Had noticed this place a couple of days ago on a late-night dogwalk. It’s hard to miss good food smells in downtown at 12am — your options are usually Riva’s or… yeah… Riva’s… and it’s debatable whether that falls into the ‘good smell’ category. But I digress. I went in this evening and tried a chicken shawarma on their recommendation. They got this spot-on and on par with some of the better late-night kebab joints I’ve found in bigger cities. Nice. Shawarma is usually served as a pita sandwich and d’el Jebal does theirs by the book; lots of tasty chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and a delicious sauce. Sometimes simple and plentiful is good. I suppose it was the most expensive item on the menu but at $ 6.99 it still seemed reasonable. There are other lunchy/late night snacky type foods too — salads for $ 5 – 6, other sandwiches $ 5 – 6, and even some tasty looking sweets. I guess they have breakfast sandwiches on either pitas or bagels, but I doubt that I will ever be craving shawarma at 7am. You never know, though. I do see myself wandering down here at 1am on occasion for a late-night grilled meat fix. I also got a pineapple/strawberry smoothie. It was, well, a smoothie — exactly what you’d expect blended pineapple, strawberries, and milk to taste like. They have done a nice job with the space they have — the interior is warm and inviting. They’ve got a cute little outside patio(dog friendly) though it’s a little loud with the vents from nearby buildings. I do wonder if they’ll be able to maintain the optimistic 7AM — 2AM open hours as that side of downtown seems pretty dead most nights from 8pm onward.
